Mountain Enterprises was first class in their employees like Elijah and Santiago were polite, considerate and kept me informed on what was happening on my property. It is a tough dangerous job and no one likes to see their trees disappear but I know it is necessary. They cleaned up and it definitely was not an easy task to do on my property. read more

This is the worst stroke off work I have ever seen. If PGE hired you , you are now part of the problem with the high power bills, with you ripping off PGE with pour work. You have been at our place 4 times cutting the trees, that now look like bushes. You send a guy out to Mark the tree, you send another guy to verify the trees, you send the crew out to cut the trees, and leave the shavings all over, for a fire danger. Then a guy comes to see if you cut the trees, and then another guy comes to verify that the guy came out. Well guess what must not be enough, because it started all over again. And try that 4 times on your property, while mind you that all the way up the road are trees hanging over everywhere, but to hard for your wussy men to cut, so they just milk it, over and over. I will be getting with PG&E. See you again tomorrow. read more

These guys have been in my neighborhood all week, I'm not sure who is paying them to cut down all the trees in our neighborhood but thats what theyre up to. The tree service people have been friendly waving at me and smiling when I walk my dog but it doesn't change the fact that this is ridiculous. I dont know if its the contract with pge thats letting them cut whatever trees they want but thats what it seems theyre doing. This is my first Yelp review on anything. This company working out of Lotus, Ca., is contracted by PG&E to clear trees and branches away from lines. The first guy who came by to identify and mark trees and branches knocked on the door, stated he always likes to speak to homeowners before accessing property. he was professional and courteous, and worked with me on deciding what to do with certain trees that had options. I told him that I wanted to be notified before any work was done so I could be there. He put this on the service order. From there it went down hill. Not only was I not notified when the crew showed up, they only had a couple of the tees on their list. It was very difficult to communicate with the crew since none appeared to speak much English. When the foreman showed up, I pointed out the other marked trees, but he seemed to be unaware. They told me a chipper would be coming, but when I asked when, they didn't know. I told them I had a crew coming in to clear weeds and brush and did not want the branches on the way. I again stated I would like to be notified and present when people come on my property. The chipper came with no notice. I called the company and asked to speak to someone about the way they do business, but got no returned call. The tree crew came by with no notice again, and left another pile of leafy branches for the chipper, but left all the larger pieces in a mess on the hill. I pointer out the branches the spotter identified when he was here, but they cut different ones. They are here today for the third time, along with the chipper, and act like they own the place. They drove through a gate onto my hill without asking, and I had to stop the chipper truck from driving over my irrigation lines. They didn't notify me and are in the way of the defensible space guys I scheduled for today. Very poor communication and little respect for the homeowner. I hope they don't come back. read more

This crew is completely incompetent. They made a huge mess in my yard, broke yard lights, left a 6 foot high x 16 feet long pile of brush thrown over my back fence next to the fire trail, bending the fence and leaving a fire hazard worse than how the property started. The Group Leader continues to promise he'll be back to clean it up but with no-show and no call back. The company was hired through PG&E. What a disgrace! I'll be calling Cross Fire to clean up after them. read more

This company is CRAP! They have been bothering me for over 18 months!!!! I have 3 acres, with maybe 2 dozen trees. Yet they have been here over 10 times!! This is PRIVATE property, not for you to come and go as you please. My property is gated for multiple reasons. Yet they just keep showing up unannounced and want to inspect. Literally every 3 weeks for almost 2 years.. The first actual tree cutting was a disaster.. after finally figuring out they need to schedule an appointment and keep it. (3 trys) They broke a landscaping pipe in my yard and tried to leave and pretend they didn't do it. I had to video tape them in their trucks before they would fix it. They pretend like they dont speak English and have attitudes. Then they left my yard a complete disaster for another 5 weeks. They would not come back and clean up!!!... Then another inspection and they want to cut more... fine. They flag and spray paint 3 trees. I block off my whole Saturday to accommodate them. They show up. work for 1 hr, cut 1 branch on 1 tree and leave without a word. Then 2 weeks later another inspection... he goes why are these trees even flagged there fine??... ugh.. ok. hoping thats the last of them for a while.. NOPE!!! 2 weeks later another guy calling me outside my property asking to inspect. !!! F!!!! STOP BOTHERING ME!!!! Since this program began, I have delt and been contacted by a different person every single time. never the same guy and they DO NOT talk to each other. All the work could have been done in 1 day with a competent company. You are milking this plane and simple. Milking PGE for every penny at the expense of the residents. Im going to report you to PGE for defrauding them and harassing the residents. GO AWAY! read more

They accessed my property without permission. Used my driveway to chip a neighbor's tree that they took down. The work was being done as a subcontractor for PG&E. They accidentally damaged my driveway with their equipment somehow, and when I pointed it out to an employee he took pictures took them back to his employer and the employer claims that the damage was not done by them. I invited the owner or manager to also come out and I have not yet heard back from him with this invite though he said he would like to do that. I am now contacting the state contractors board and filing a complaint with PG&E. I also called the Nevada County Sheriff to file a report read more
