Scott from mountain gopher was awesome. We arrived in beaver creek, without a rental car. We planned on using the gondola to Avon, to take a trip down for groceries. Unfortunately we arrived after the lift was closed. We found Scott, and he arranged his schedule to make an early morning delivery for us. We sent him an email with our list. In the morning we traded a few texts to clarify a couple of quick questions. Scott brought everything to our condo inside of Beaver Creek. It was perfect. This was a life saver, since we were traveling with 5 kids. Scott even got the food there In time for everyone to have a quick breakfast before we headed out for our first day of skiing!!! This is a great service! We have a place in Beaver Creek and I usually take the first day to make a grocery store run. It was AMAZING to be able to walk in and have the kitchen stocked. It was super easy - just checked off things on their list, took a pic with my phone and forwarded. Scott checked with me on list to clarify any questions. He also went to the liquor store for us. Mountain Gopher had everything delivered and waiting for us, from my favorite whiskey to all those organic foods my girlfriend's always looking for when we travel. Can't begin to explain what a relief it was not dealing with that headache--just came off the slopes to a stocked fridge and poured a drink! This was so convenient we ended up requesting a second delivery mid-way through our trip. Excellent service! Scott has found a niche for a service that was certainly needed. The ability to select items from a pre printed grocery list and have them delivered before arrival makes for such a smooth beginning to a trip. I found the Mountain Gopher accidentally as there are multiple websites with similar names. Fortunately Scott, the owner followed up with me and helped me provision in Vail. He was very intuitive and recommended articles he thought I might use or forgot in my list. There are no grocery or corner stores in Vail town so making advance arrangements with Scott was helpful. Best delivery service around. They shopped for us last minute and we're able to deliver and put away our groceries in our condo before we arrived. They do $25 for delivery and 20% of the order total as a service charge (which is by far the best rate around). They were able to pick up beer and wine as well.
