Problem with staff when we found bed bugs in our bed. They flat out denied it and wouldn't even come look. Not helpful at all.

The management here is extremely rude. Neither I nor my friends will ever be returning here simply because of them.

Best little hideaway vacation spot we've found so far! I wish there were more places like this in…read morethe world. Our visit was super fun, relaxing, and therapeutic for myself and my husband. It felt like we were on a second honeymoon. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It didn't take long for us to feel like family and fit right in. That being said, this place is not for everyone. Please do not come here expecting people to look like movie stars or personal trainers. We are normal people with normal bodies--some are large and some are small, some older and some younger. Please do not come here if you are easily offended by nudity or staring. When we arrived, there were many stares at us but it was never creepy or alarming; just curiosity from the residents or frequent visitors. This is a place where "no" means no and people respect that so you can feel safe. I never felt like a piece of meat during my stay. Please do not come here if you expect a five-star resort with brand new facilities and all the amenities. This place has been here for a while and it's clear to see as you look around. However, old doesn't mean dirty. The bathrooms, showers, and play areas were cleaner than some of the other resorts or clubs we have visited. For this visit we stayed in our RV so I can't review the accommodations. But our site was in a quiet spot by the river, very beautiful and peaceful. The clubhouse had plenty of tables and seating with a pool table, two poles (one spinny and one static), and a dance floor--a great place to cool off during the day or socialize at night. Upstairs in the clubhouse is the Little Charter House which has a small but clean play area with sheets, towels, and wipes. But the main Charter House where weekend parties usually end up is up the hill. It has play areas and a nicely arranged dungeon for bdsm play that's called The Den. This was our first visit. We stayed on a Tuesday through Sunday and we will definitely be returning. Where else can you nap in the sun, swim, exercise, play games, socialize, eat and drink, or do whatever tickles your fancy, all while wearing nothing but your birthday suit? It's really quite freeing. Regardless of whether you are a nudist, new or experienced in the lifestyle, or just looking for a great getaway with some wonderful people, I highly recommend The Grove.

Had a really nice time at the river view cabin…read more When you get there it feels like nobody is around for miles and you can really get away from city life. The cabin was really nice and just as advertised. The one thing that I was pleasantly surprised about is how close it is to everything. The ad made it seem like it would take awhile to get to wineries / ect, but the cabin is very close to some nice trails and just a short drive from the wineries. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We were a late arrival after dark to the Creekview Cabin. Cabin was filthy with us finding, hair in…read morethe bedsheets and bedding and there was NO clean bedding in the cabin. We also found stained pillows, stained mattress cover and it also had hair and black spots on it. We tried contacting the owner from 9:30pm until 11:15pm with NO response until the NEXT morning at 7:45am. She stated she would have the cleaning lady come change the sheets but we told her we HAD to go purchase bedding in order to stay. Then upon getting up we found coffee grounds in the coffee pot from last renter, dirty dishes put away in the cabinets, what appeared to be mold and old food in the refrigerator, the shower wouldn't work and the tub wouldn't drain, we found a toothpaste lid behind the faucets in the bathroom from previous renter, what appeared to be mold, hair and dirt around the frame of the tub, liquid stains on the electrical panel box and ran down the wall, we found feathers on the couch cushions and end table plus more! Needless to say, we left and didn't stay another night only after getting pictures of the filth! Beware!! Read ALL recent reviews of this cabin especially those rated 1-2 stars! They tell the story! I wish we had read the reviews but we booked last minute.....NEVER AGAIN!

This was a horrible experience…read more I booked Blue Creek through Airbnb on January 29th. They approved my application same day. On Airbnb I stated that I was a student booking for a senior trip and there would be two chaperones. I did not see a minimum age booking requirement on Airbnb when booking so I booked. When I booked on Airbnb they asked for my id and I sent that in as I booked. Again, they approved same day. My trip was booked for March 13th-March 17th. On March 5th I got an email from Airbnb that they cancelled my reservation. No email from them as to why. I then called there office. The lady on the phone told me I had to be 29 years old to book. She then asked if I had any 29 years olds staying with us, because this was a school sponsored trip we did. She told me I could have one of them book it and it would be a problem. I had to them have one of the chaperones book on their website, because Airbnb blocked them from booking another person that weekend because they cancelled us so close to our date. We booked a different cabin on their website that we thought was nicer. Our chaperone booked this cabin on March 5th. On March 7th we got an email that our reservation was canceled and if we tried to book again they would contact the authorities. I was severely thrown off and confused as to what the issue was. I called them and no one answered. I left a voicemail telling them I was confused as to what happened and asking them to call me back. I then got a text message that was very passive aggressive and unprofessional. They also charged us a $100 cancellation fee when they cancelled on us! I then called them today March 10th, and spoke with the property manager, asking what happened and asking for the fee back. The guy on the phone was rude and unprofessional. He told us that the majority of people staying in the cabin needed to be over 29. (No where on their website does it say that). He then said he didn't want kids "throwing parties" at his multi million dollar properties. No parties were going to be thrown. It was a school sponsored trip with chaperones staying in the house with us. He did not care what we had to say and was very rude and unprofessional. Overall, this experience was horrible. The customer service was horrendous and their way of handling things was disgusting. We ended up getting our cancellation fee back as well as full refunds. Do not book this company they do not care!!

We had a lovely fall weekend at this little one room cabin. It is secluded, but not remote. We…read moreenjoyed our stay and would stay again, but now we know what to bring and what to expect. The cabin is cutely decorated. First, the road up to the cabin is not for a sport car, nor even a regular sedan. This time of year there was 6 inches of leaves, so it was difficult to know where the gravel road was. I am a bit frustrated when I rent a vacation rental and find things not working, or broken, etc. I believe it is up to the cleaning crew to check everything. In this cabin the doorknob leading to the screened patio was not working properly. It was loose so it would not unlatch the door. The screen was locked so you could not get into the screened patio! We worked on it until we got it to open, but it did not open every time. The light in the kitchen was out. There is not enough light anyway, so this made the kitchen very dim. The lights in the main room were so bright I felt like we were in a football stadium. A dimmer on those lights would be really great. The TV is small by most TV's today and the distance the sofa or bed is from the TV makes it difficult to see. Not there to watch much TV anyway. There could have been more towels, for the kitchen and the bath. There is no dishwasher, so you have to wash dishes. There was one dish towel and one scrubber and a tiny bottle of watered down dish soap that we used up and resorted to hand soap. The dishes were not really clean. But I understood why, with not enough soap, and having to wash up everything before leaving, people aren't as careful as normal. There was a beer stein in the freezer that had a spot of beer left in it. (this was typical of most the eating utensils. I noticed most the dishes were not really clean. But with little and poor quality soap it is understandable.) The oven is dirty and smells like old oil each time we turned it on. The first time I looked for a pan to cook with all I found was one wok-type of pan and a crock pot with not lid. After looking in every cabinet I found the cookware in the back of a corner cupboard that is the hardest to get to and you can't see it in. I moved all the cookware to the cupboard by the stove, where it is used. The cookware was awful, the "non-stick" surface was either gone or peeling off. Didn't want to use those for health reasons. There were no wine glasses, but 2 corkscrews! Ironic! There is a hot tub, but we saw algae in it so we would not get in it. But there are not enough towels to use anyway. I'm glad we brought extra blankets as the lightweight ones there would not have kept us warm. A bit better quality control of checking things would be a good start. A few good quality cookware pans would be good also. My suggestion is to take cookware, towels, blankets and wine glasses. Make sure you are in a truck or SUV and enjoy the seclusion.
