Finding a venue for your wedding is the most important decision you will ever make. It sets the tone and vibe for your special day. We had looked at many locations and never found one that just felt right. We explored. All our options. Resorts, banquet halls,country clubs, but nothing grabbed our attention. We went to a bridal show 2 years before our wedding date to Mountain Meadows and just fell in love with the scenery and lay out, not to mention the people. We booked that same day! My wife and I played this course recently, and had a good experience on the first 6 holes... IN TWO HOURS! We pulled up to the 7th tee box, and there were 2 groups waiting at the tee box, one on the fairway, and one on the green.... Uh, time to leave! The maintenance was fine, and typical of an American Golf run course. Unfortunately being American Golf, they allow fivesomes, and have an 8 minute stack. Resulting in the SLOWEST pace of play I've ever experienced. I'd love to return to this course on a weekday to enjoy the rest of it. The Staff at the pro shop were EXCELLENT! free range balls, and a credit for our unfinished round. read more

Wedding / Event review. We just recently got married on the 9th of may here and wow. What an amazing group of people. My husband and I searched a handful of golf courses and other venues and believe me this place as well as the event management team were the best. The location itself has great views especially for an evening wedding. Gabby and Cori were exceptional and worked with my husband and I throughout the planning process, walked us through everything and helped us feel comfortable with what was to come the day of. We had our food tasting and the food was great! We chose a buffet style dinner with chicken and beef. Our guests really thought the food was delicious besides the chicken being a little dry but overall 9/10 for the food. They also had an assistant help coordinate the ceremony the day of our wedding which was awesome. She did a great job helping the guests get seated and made sure there were no issues before I walked down the isle. I could go on about the details but overall this venue and mostly the group of people working in the events department (including the lady who checked in with us at the end of the evening- can't remember her name) EVERYONE did an awesome job with our wedding and I would recommend this place for weddings and/or events. I was recently in a wedding that was located here (last weekend). The venue is beautiful. The wedding was outside and the reception inside, the decor was beautiful, food tasty and DJ was fun. The only thing that was strange is that the bridal suit is attached to the women's bathroom and you have no way of entering it without entering the public restroom. Also, halfway through the reception, it smelled foul due to the women's restroom attached to the reception hall. I would recommend some cleaning of the sewage pipes! read more

So happy that I booked my wedding here! Gabby and Rosana were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. We looked at dozens of venues & pricing and Mountain Meadows was the most reasonably priced, not to mention beautiful. The patio area with the mountain and golf course views is so serene. They have packages that fit any budget and you don't have to commit to a certain one right away. Even the smallest package has everything you need to host a beautiful wedding (centerpieces, cake, linens, etc). We loved that we were able to make payments. On our actual wedding day, they allowed us to show up and set up the details at 6am. Once the reception began, we were assigned a "coordinator" that literally helped us with everything! I wish I remembered his name because he was an angel! He always made sure that my husband and I were fed and hydrated (wink, wink) lol. I will definitely continue to book events here. read more

I play here about once a week, so I know this place pretty well. The golf course itself is in pretty good shape for a public course and the staff is great. I don't play on the weekends, so I don't know how busy it is then, but we can finish a round in 4 hours on most weekday mornings, so that makes me happy. If there is a downside to Mountain Meadows, it has to be their coffee shop/cafe. I just don't understand why they don't build this up a little and make it more of a profit center. Half the time I can't even find a snack as I am making the turn. Strange...anyway, pretty decent place to play golf. read more

Tooooooooo slow!! Me and my boyfriend took first three hole for hour and twenty minute #4tee box there were 3 groups waiting so we went back to first hole and played and the group front of us were at #6 tee box. Sorry to say this but there are too many seniors not so good playing. Two grandpas front of us almost every hole hitting about 12times to get to the greens. Wedding was great but Kelly the bartender is very unprofessional.Throughout the event, she was very very rude to my table and myself. She stated, "slow down girl". I understand the need to regulate alcohol intake when an individual is intoxicated, but this is absolutely unacceptable. Great, challenging course. Re-modeled pro shop, turn and finish time tracking to improve pace of play. A new GM with country club experience and a great attitude focused on making the golf experience better for everyone. If you haven't played here in a while, definitely give it another try. And it's going to get even better as they have plans to re-model the clubhouse too. read more

I come here regularly to hit golf balls. I purchased the deal for unlimited balls for $40 for the month. I have definitely putting this to good use, and go at least a few times after. It's not the nicest course, but it is convenient. read more

Tee off last week at 5:40 and make the turn at 7:15. 2 groups that weren't in front off us a on the 10th. I asked starter and he said they don't let groups out after 7am on back side. Obviously bullshit! So give it another shot and tee off at 5:32. Get to #10 at 7:15 and there is a group on green and another teeing off. Won't play here again. They are doing a major renovation to the sand bunkers and areas around sand-bunkers, they are not playable. The entire game becomes meaningless when everyone hitting a bad shot is given a free relief around the greens The greens are hard and roll silly . The fairways are dry and hard to hit with no grass under your wedges and bump and run keeps the ball running as mentioned above about the greens. It took 5 hours to finish the round read more

Right from the beginning, we knew Mountain Meadows was the most beautiful place for my daughter's wedding. I felt Tiffany and Monica were so helpful, nothing short of amazing, every step of the way. Working with them for over a year, I knew everything would be perfect. Little did I know since the day of the wedding all of my dreams fell apart. First, they had booked a school even early in the day that ended at 3:30pm after they said weddings booked on Fridays had use the facility for the entire day. Our wedding started at 5:00pm with 170 guests and many from out of town! They used the bride's maiden last name for the Mr. & Mrs. Sign (ceremony, reception, special drink) instead of the groom's last name and there were not enough ceremony chairs for the guests (approx. 140) so guests had to stand. There were not enough plates and no cups during the cocktail hour. Dinner was supposed to be served at 7:15pm and it was served after 8:00pm. This made all of the events planned during the night start later and they felt rushed. The cake was served after 10:00pm and many people had left by this time. The service was very upsetting because there was not enough help. Mountain Meadows is such a beautiful place, but we had such terrible service. After talking with the manger, I was given a small refund. Despite this, I would not recommend Mountain Meadows for any event because it caused a lot of unnecessary stress due to promises they did not keep. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! The staff were so unprofessional and took bookings for tee time without planning for carts. Had to wait over an hour to get the cart only to get one not charged enough. They allowed teams of 5 with novices and moving at a snail pace. at 14th Cart gave up and had to abandon the game after 4.30 hours of torture. NEVER gonna visit back. read more

My Fiancé and I were planning on having our ceremony and reception here. Something tragic has happened and we are experiencing a financial hardship. Unfortunately we had to cancel our plans and push marriage aside.The ladies (Rosana and Gaby) were not very sympathetic when I told them a little piece of what happened. You can clearly hear in her tone of voice that it is all business and could care less. I 100% understand when you sign a contract it is what it is and there is no refund. But I know for a fact that it really is up to the manager/director if they want to give you a refund or even a portion back. I did ask for half back just to help us and they said no. They offered to put it towards a different date, but with everything going on that's not what I am worried about at this time. When I asked to speak to the general manager Rosana referee me to Josh. Rosana said he would call me back. I attempted to call him and haven't received a call. I was not happy when I got a call from Gaby advising me that Josh isn't able to assist because he is not in the event department. I am frustrated with the customer service that I received this time. With everything going on I am just really upset at how it was all handled. read more

I had 2 months to plan my wedding. I was referred by another local golf course. I was nervous and didn't know if I would be able to have everything ready in time for the big day. I spoke with Cori and she was a true professional, and very caring. With no time to waste the motto of the wedding was that "I am late to the party"! Cori and the team made it very special and at the end of 2 months we had created my dream wedding! Our guest kept mentioning "the wedding was like a scene from the movies". Great course but very poor staff. The young ladies inside the golf shop were very rude and gave our group attitude towards any questions or information being acquired for further instruction towards our groups initial check in time. While we waited and were asked to wear a mask inside the golf shop for sanitary reasons while acquiring golf balls for the driving range the individuals behind the desk were eating a meal in the same area golfers were checking in and purchasing merchandise which seems very unsanitary. While at the driving range we put our masks on then took them off for a brief moment to ask one another questions about the course and an older gentleman with a walkie talkie asked us to put our masks on, even though he only had his halfway on throughout the time he was outside of the golf shop, and we agreed we would but that didn't settle well with this individual. We told him we would and my friend told the man that he had to grab his mask out of his bag next to us and this so called employee or unprofessional manager told us "yeah just do it" which didn't seem very professional in any manner. After this we ended up rushing at the range because we didn't feel welcomed or felt we were imposing on this employee by being there and thought out tee time was going to be on time but unfortunately our group ended up waiting 45 minutes pass our initial tee time. Overall our group enjoyed the course but unfortunately don't feel that we will reconsider coming back due to the staff which created an unfriendly and negative environment for us. Hopefully they can improve and understand that as guest of their establishment that it's important to make the customer feel important and welcomed even in the most minimal of ways. read more

DON'T BOOK THE COUNTRY CLUB FOR ANYTHING! Here are some of the issues we had in dealing with MM for our June 9, 2013 wedding even though all info was provided to them ahead of time. We had missed our first scheduled food tasting (our fault) so I called & rescheduled & I also got it confirmed in email with Tiffany. (Be aware they don't give a courtesy call to confirm appointments as most of your other vendors will even though you're spending most of your money with them). 1. On our rescheduled date when they were seating everyone they told us that they didn't have us on their list. Fortunately they were still able to sit us at a table. We were handed a paper for the linen information & said when we were ready we could go talk to the Linen Company that was onsite. Not once were we told the difference of standard linen to upgraded linen or what was included in our package so we chose the colors we wanted. 2. When we went to make a payment we noticed the way the tables were set up there were some in the sun. My then fiancée asked if that was going to be a problem for the wedding because we didn't want our guests in the sun. They said no it wouldn't. The day of the wedding WE HAD GUESTS SITTING IN THE SUN which caused a lot of them to leave early because it was just way too hot! 3. I contacted Tiffany on May 30th to confirm the balance due. She gave me a balance that didn't include the linen & I asked her what she meant as our contract said the linen was included. She said the linen we chose was not the standard linen. I was upset that this had not been explained to us previously. I asked her what the total was for the linen & it was over $500! I asked how is it that I am just finding this out the day before we have to pay our full balance. She didn't seem to want to answer & I had to push on getting an answer. She said that I should have been told & she didn't know why I wasn't. I was told that they would be able to provide the standard linen still so I had to choose colors that were not in our color scheme of the wedding in order to have linen provided. (I ended up having to order overlays from an outside company just to get one of our colors on the tables). 4. I had also confirmed via email requesting that the Hors D'oeuvres we were bringing in be placed inside the reception room so that they were not out in the sun. This was not done on our wedding day THEY WERE LEFT OUTSIDE IN THE SUN! (Not good when we signed a Food Waiver Release form taking responsibility if someone got sick). 5. The week before the wedding I had emailed Tiffany letting her know that my then fiancée would be dropping off the cake stand, Hors d'oeuvres & decorations which he did. On our wedding morning he reminded them about the cake stand. The cake stand was NOT used when the bakery delivered it. 6. I was notified right after the ceremony (approx. 45 min before reception) by our DOC that she had name cards for a 19th table & there was no 19th table out there. On May 31st I had emailed this information to Tiffany so I don't know how that happened. I told our DOC to have them put out a 19th table asap. This was not fixed until after everyone was being seated & our guests at our 19th table were left standing until they brought out another table. (Very Embarrassing!). 7. When I apologized to the 19th table guests for the no table issue one of our guests asked me did you taste the apple cider? I had not & I took a little taste & it was sour! I notified our Wedding Coordinator & asked for them to remove it asap because it was bad. I was told MM servers went around & asked people if the Apple Cider was ok & only removed the ones that they were told were bad. Sadly we had 3 kids get sick & we think it was from the apple cider. It should have all been removed as a precaution! 8. After our honeymoon I was told by a guest that MM had ran out of butter & bread! Really with the count of people I gave & paid for they didn't have enough even with some of our guests that had left early! Upon returning from our honeymoon I called the General Manager Chad & explained all the above issues to him. He looked into these issues & called me back explaining how they had staff changes since I first signed our contract with them so he was not able to talk to the first person I dealt with. Then he said the bad Apple Cider was due to a fridge they had it in had went out. Still no excuse as they should have known it was not cold & it may have been bad before serving it. Anyhow, I told him because we had all these issues I felt we were due a reimbursement & we agreed on a certain dollar amount. Well almost 2 weeks later I had to call him to ask where the refund was & he said he had just sent it out the day before. When I received it the amount was $100 less than what we agreed on. At that point I was just done dealing with them. It showed me they don't stand behind their word, don't fully read emails & they are just horrible at customer service! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! read more
