I absolutely love this restaurant found a way to offer buffet style during a pandemic. The buffet included the salad pictured below, that they made and brought to you with dressings on the side. We ordered this pizza from Mountain Mikes in Atwater and decided to call to inquire on the how it was made/looked. As you may see, it's burned around most corners and oddly shaped. I've been their customer for 10 years and never have I seen a pizza delivered this bad! I asked to speak to the store manager and a guy gets on the phone saying he was the manager. I told him what the pizza looked like explained that it looks like two smaller slices were added from a medium or small pizza on to the large. He said that it might not be so round since they have new people training but he can guarantee the pizza didn't go out that way. He then proudly said he has been making pizza for 14 years and admitted he wasn't the store manager but the chef manager or so he said. I insisted to speak to the store manager but He then refused to take my number down and said I will have to call back on Wednesday at 9am to speak to her. Ok, so it's probably not the best picture. But the customer service here is always great. I always have ordered from here, and couldn't wait for their buffet to open back up. Although it's no longer self serve, the older woman who served my salad put really good amounts of everything I asked for!! There was only Hawaiian and mushroom out when we arrived, but the manager kindly asked if there was any pizza he wanted his cook to make. Which is very generous, considering I had gotten there at 11:20, (20 mins into the buffet) and there was only one other customer there for the buffet. Really awesome customer service. If I could say one thing about them, I'd say they could add more cheese to their pizzas! Other than that. They truly are golden in my eyes. They wouldnt attempt to offer or honor it in any way even though we knew all the details on the coupon . Then...the menu clearly states beer and wine. I dont drink beer ..ordered wine. Me and my friends meet at the Atwater Mountain Mikes every two weeks on pay days before work. Pros: The food is good and not priced to bad. The service is generally good. It can get kind of busy in there sometimes when large groups of people are there but there is enough room so that you don't feel crowded. Cons: Sometimes it can take them a while to get the pizza out and keep em coming. It would be nice also if they cut the slices of pizza bigger. I feel rather greedy when i have to take four slices of pizza. lol Overall the Mountain mikes is a fun, clean, and relaxing place to eat before work. read more

I really like their pizza because they pile on the toppings, especially on the specialty pizzas. We only do takeout and they are always ready fast. We'd love it if Mountain Mike's expanded to SoCal, where we live! In the meantime, we consider it a treat when we're in Atwater. read more

Great service, pretty good pizza, but the salad bar is small, and prices are pretty steep. Lunch buffet is very well worth the money. The service is OK, not real good, but not too bad. When placing an order they could have pretended a little better that my business was appreciated. It was like, "What do you want?, give me your money, sit down and wait till we bring it to ya."
