Came in on a Sunday afternoon only a few people inside. The server at the the register was nice and helpful. As we head to the dinning room there were multiple dirty tables which stayed dirty for the majority of our visit. The cleaning cart with food waste, dirty dishes and a bucket of dirty cleaning water and cloths stayed in the dining room close to our table the entire time. The front windows were full of cobwebs. The food took a long time to come out. The pizza was good. The wings were just ok. Our wedges and jalapeno poppers took extremely long to come out and the poppers were soggy and undercooked. For the amount of money that was spent I was not happy with the experience. I don't think I would come to this location again. read more

Wow .. I use to really like round table pizza years ago when it was off of Shaffer Rd here in Atwater ca.. I drive by the one off of Winton WY and hardly ever see people or cars over there and offen wondered why.. Anywho so I decided to give them a try after many years so I ordered and got my pizza.. ingredients are very cheap looking now and cheese was not stretchy and gooey like it use to be.. My husband and I went to an all you can eat buffet at the Atwater, Ca Round Table. we entered the restaurant at 11:05 AM, (they open at 11:00 AM), we could see we were the only ones there. We initially thought the place looked nice, everything was new looking maybe 2-3 years and looked large for our little town. The food was not ready but the salad bar was open and well stocked, I did have a slight issue with some of the lettuce being very wilted, and a very dark color I would pick it off my plate and leave it at the side of the lettuce container so as the employees could see it and deal with it using there best discretion. There were no, metal forks at the salad bar, only spoons lots of spoons what were we to do with spoons at a salad bar. whwn this was brought to an employees attention he turned around and offered him a plastic fork. I went back to the salad bar about a half hour later and the fork issue had not been addressed. We ate our salads while waiting for any pizza to be ready to eat, this took approximately 30 minute, and it gave my husband plenty of time to look the place over. After doing this we discussed how dirty the place was. The arcade area was a mess and I wouldn't let my children touched any thing in there. The party room was also a mess with the carpet needing to be replaced, it was filthy, you might think about putting in flooring that you could mop daily upon closing. But wait there is still more....the restrooms, I have no words. The trash can was overflowing at least 8 inches over the top, all an employee would have to do is push it down....but no, that would mean they would give a about their customer, the counters looked as if they hadn't been wiped down ever. I can see why nothing stays open here, take pride in you job if you're unhappy then move on, don't make the customers feel bad that they came to your establishment, they will take their business somewhere else. There are other things I would like to mention about the cleanliness, sticky table tops, benches needing to be wiped off, pretty much everything we saw or touched, (the pepper mill and sunflower seed jar at the salad bar). Needs the touch of soap and water to cut that sticky greasy to the touch feel. I will be coming back, and I'm hoping things will look different, I would really hate to see another business leave Atwater. read more

Definitely don't recommend this place, the food quality is great but customer service is not good. We came here and spent over 200 dollars and we sat down and was eating and was rushed out of there because they closed at 9:30 pm but we did leave like we were asked called them back about 9:45 and they still answered the phone when I talked to her I asked what time do you close she said 10 pm wait then why were we pushed out at 9:30? I think of all days Friday through Sunday should be open a little later due to weekends close at 9:30 on weekdays that's a dumb ass schedule read more

Delivery time was great. We ordered 4 pizzas. 2 were right. 2 weren't. Ordered a Maui Zaui no pineapple like I typically do. On Tuesday, July 23, 2024 my family and I went into the Round Table Pizza, in Atwater. The restaurant was not busy at all, in fact looked empty. We ordered approximately $110, worth of food and beverages and sat down in the banquet room near the arcade area so that we could be close to the kids as they played in the arcade. Both TV's in the banquet room were on and the room was wide open. I returned back to the counter to ask one of the employee's if she could change one of the TV's to a basketball game. She responded very rudely, with "you guys can't be in there". I asked why, and she said because I didn't reserve it. I asked if it was reserved, and she said no, and that they were recently told that no one could be in there without a reservation. I replied, by asking her that if it wasn't reserved and since we were already sitting in there, that if it would be ok to stay, but she insisted to say "NO". It didn't make sense to me, because the restaurant was empty, the banquet room was not in use or reserved at all that day and we were just there three weeks prior with the same situation. In fact, there were no signs to indicate that we couldn't eat in the banquet room, the lights were on, the doors were wide open and both TV's in the banquet room were on. My family had no idea, at the time what was just told to me, as I sat back down with them. My kids were super excited to use the two $20 arcade cards that we just purchased and were ready to enjoy our family time together after their soccer game. Without any hesitation, the supervisor on duty came into the banquet room and rudely stated, "You guys have to get Out!" We tried to explain and ask since we were already seated and unaware of any changes to the banquet room, if they could make an exception or possible contact a manager for discretion. The supervisor on duty, did not display or show any signs of being reasonable or how to properly engage with customer service. We asked for a refund and decided to take our business elsewhere. She was not interested in hearing or making a business resolution or looking further into the matter. She threatened to call the Police Department if we continued to explain or speak to her regarding our complaint. Sad to say, three of the family members present including myself are active or retired peace officers. We are active in the community and are involved with the local Atwater Little League Program as well as the Atwater Community Center. I few days later, I attempted to call the local Atwater Round Table Pizza and speak to a manager. In this case, the Manager had actually picked up the phone. I briefly expressed my concern and complaint to him over the phone but was put on hold by him. I patiently waited on hold for approximately 15 minutes, until I decided to drive to the Round Table. Meanwhile I was still on hold, as I walked into the restaurant. The place was empty with the exception of two customers sitting at a table. I walked up to the counter and heard some employees in the back laughing amongst each other. Finally, someone came up the counter. I asked to speak to the manager, and he introduced himself as the manager. Come to find out I was still on hold for over 24 minutes as I asked if he was the person that put me on hold because I was still waiting, His response was that "it must have hung up", which is clearly a lie because my phone was still active on hold. My in-person meeting with the manger on duty on 7/25/24, got nowhere as he seemed uninterested on what I was saying and made the excuse of it must have been just a misunderstanding. read more

Round Table was the go to spot when I was younger and I was hoping to give my kids the same great memories! We got there and the man who greeted us and took our order was perfectly nice. The only complaints I have is one that he was a bit snarky in our seating choice and made it a point to say, "Oh you just chose to sit here anyways" and two was that the small arcade they have there had almost every machine out of order. The 2-3 machines that were "working" took our coins and did nothing, when I asked if they could refund us (just $2) he was adamant he could not. I honestly was not expecting him to say yes, but I asked simply to see how he would handle the situation and he was rude and unprofessional about it. I work retail so I can understand things being out of your control and I would never be disrespectful to anyone or argue simply to argue.. so here I am. Choose a different Round Table. read more

For the last hour I have been trying to get a pizza deliver. After going through all their hoops in ordering I found out you can't pay COD like every other pizza place does and still does. Used to be my favorite pizza place before they start to gouge people on prices and delivery fees. 6 dollars for delivery and you still have to tip?! The main reason for this review is to give a shout out to an amazing employee I believe her name was Kylie Robertson. She was amazing for our entire party. She came and checked on us multiple times, asking if we needed anything, or to clear plates. She always had a smile, and was so cheerful and polite. She was seriously amazing! Please recognize her for this because she deserves a huge pat on the back. We came here for a family graduation party. It's Saturday night on July 6th around 5pm. I was worried we wouldn't have seating because it wasn't reserved, but there was plenty. I am not really a fan of the pizza here, but everyone else in my party liked it. They do have pretty amazing ranch dressing, and their BBQ wings were definitly good. We had about 14 people and they were quick with our appetizers and pizza. I honestly have no complaints, and again Kylie was amazing! There was another employee working who didn't seem as happy to be there, but not rude by any means. Im not a pizza person but when I do want pizza, I always get Round Table. The Round Table pizza in Atwater is very good. I'd say after ordering pizza from there since they opened, there was only one time my order was wrong. The team there was very quick to remedy that. I mostly get delivery because I'm a recluse shut-in, even after covid. read more

The pizza is (usually) great, but the wait times are long. Even when they're not busy, you'll wait a half hour for carry-out. Buffet often puts out pizzas other than the basics for 20-30 minutes at a stretch. The customer service is starting to remind me of why the first Round Table Pizza closed. Came in and the manager was rude. They made a regular veggie small. Told them that's not right. Poor customer service from the staff; the Waitress, the order taker and the ones walking around talking with each other. Waitress yelled from across the room, instead of coming to the table. Horrible service!! Ordered a pizza waited till door dash contacted me asking if I picked up my pizza which I did not!! Said she had gotten there when pizza was in oven 30 minutes later asked if my pizza was done and they said it was picked. Called they had no idea what happen transferred me to manager who said she was new so didn't know about the door dash thing. Said they would throw in another pizza. The service is terrible, we have had several occasions with delivery where items were forgotten, one specific they forgot the drinks. The most recent incident was actually at the restaurant itself, No co2 for the beer which we were informed after we already ordered. I'm not going to sit there and check to see if the number is correct, if it pops up I'm going to call it. Some restaurants have outside numbers so I didn't question the area code. This last visit we had to wait an extra 20 minutes from the time it stated it would be ready. There was no apologies, just showed my husband the list of orders and said it wasn't their fault. Only complaint is with the game room. You buy a card but when games don't provide the balls or means to play them for example balls for ski ball etc. , your child is not refunded nor compensated for play credits. I was told to write the company. I didn't cone for the over priced pizza or I would have gone else where. My focus was on fun for the kids which was a false ad. I asked if I could put a sign up so no other families would purchased a card and be out $10 or 20 bucks and employee just unplugged game. I love their pan pizza. If you order for dine in you get a good amount of toppings. Carry out and the toppings diminish. Your lucky if you get 2 pepperoni per slice. Tonight's service was good. Our server was very sweet with my son. The lack of toppings and the high price is what keeps me from giving this location 5 stars. They are keeping this new location very clean. read more
