I have been a loyal customer to Mountain Mike's pizza located in Watsonville. Of all the times I have ordered online, today was the worst delivery and customer service I received, only from the owner Diane, but not the workers there. When I placed my order it said approximately 50 min. My pizza was not delivered until 1hr 30 min after. The first time I called was just to mention the main entrance of the aparto was closed to call me when they were here. Second call, was 20 min after to see where my pizza was at, and if I could get a discount for waiting for too long. Diane told me that delivery man was close by and that she were very busy. 3rd call was to cancel my delivery, one of the workers, very polite informed to give the delivery man too 5 min if not to call and cancel the order. 4th call was to cancel cause more than 5 min had passed and I was not going to wait. I spoke to The owner and very rude she told me to let the delivery man know that I was canceling, and she hanged up the phone on me. 5th and final call was to Complain why Diane the owner hanged up the phone without confirming if I was going to get a full refund. This is the worst experience I have gotten at Mountain Mikes located in Watsonville. And believe me, when I get a bad experience and miss treated in a place I do not go back. So I do not recommend Mountain Mikes. Maybe other location but not Watsonville. Every time I ordered was more than $60. I will be spending that somewhere else. We ate at Mountain Mikes today and the pizza was good. My complaint is in regards to the cup washing station. My daughter wanted a cup for water. I went to the counter and asked for a cup. The cup was scrubbed at the 1st sink and was quickly dunked into the 2nd and into the 3rd washing compartment. All within 6 seconds the wet cup was being handed to me. The lady said,"all the cups are washed this way." I ended up asking for a to go cup and the cashier did not like that. I hope they are following proper sanitizing protocols because I read online that the dishes are suppose to sit in the 3rd compartment in a sanitizing solution for at least 1 minute to kill germs on the surface. The pizza is just like any other Mountain Mikes. But this location in Watsonville needs new owners. The lady who is the owner of this location is very frugal she counts the paper plates that she hands out! WOW. Paper plates with your pizza!! Come on now. The only reason I took my kids to eat there was because the Straw hut Pizza down the road pizza is awful tasting. But they do have a lot of T.V.'s to watch any game you want. I strongly suggest that you don't give Mountain Mikes in Watsonville/Freedom any business until they change ownership! read more

I ordered a pepperoni pizza for pick up because delivery was an hour wait. I appreciate a warm pizza so I didn't mind driving to pick it up. I was in and out quickly. Once home upon taking a bite I was taken back by the amount of salt they used. I don't think I've EVER had an over salted pizza. I mean is this even possible!!?!?! If it wasn't because I was hungry and craving pizza I probably would've taken it back. I absolutely jock pepperoni pizza and appreciate all the different versions but this one was waaay too salty. This was my second time having Mtn Mikes and the first time it gave me the runs. Let's just say there will never be a third. read more

pizza is good..but its not all about that there....at lunch time for the buffet the lady can be very verrry stenggy!!!! shes always watching u what u get and what ur eating....i was gonna take my half way eaten slice of pizza home, and i had it on my plate, with a lil bit of salad, and right when i started to walk out the lady stopped me and said i couldn't take any food home and i told her i wasn't.. i was just gonna finish my food and she was like " no no take out". and they are very proportional on there food... like if there is only 3 people there buffet is for onlyyy three people...they should be more open minded and welcome the customer good and have a buffet fully stocked! read more

This a review for the owner/manager. We ordered a medium combo and while the ingredients were great, the dough was still raw. We called so we could have it replaced and the manager told us that the dough wasn't raw but rather it was due to the vegetables releasing water and that our replacement wouldn't have veggies in order to avoid this problem!? Wow......just wow! I called in an order for a large Everest (combo) and a large pepperoni, both of which were on a coupon I had. I am not sure if you get a lesser quality pizza when using a coupon, but as I stood in line to pay and pick up my order, I am staring at a poster for a pepperoni pizza that states "100 slices of pepperoni on a large". That's what I ordered but when I got home and opened the box I was sadly disappointed by the measly 46 slices. The Everest was good but why advertise something that you are not going to provide by even half? That to me is cutting corners on a reputation. Oh well, back to Strawhat or Cassidy's. Pizza is okay I'd rather go to Cassidy's but last time I was there I got a large pizza for my 4 kids and their two friends the woman didn't even bother to give me paper plates, so when I asked her for them she gave me 4, I looked at them and said can I have more ? she asked how many I told her I had 4 kids and their 2 friends plus me and my friend that I was there with picking up the pizza she then made a face and said "well a large is only for 4 people " and she literally threw 3 more plates at my pile of paper plates, turned around and walked away ! I am never coming back here ever again I would rather drive the extra mile and go to round table or Cassidy's the have awesome customer service and their pizza is waaaaay better ! read more

I love this pizza!!! My favorite pizzeria hands down. The Hawaiian is my favorite and the staff is always friendly. Whether I dine in or carry out, I feel great after ordering from this place. The cheese garlic sticks are amazing! They have a great lunch buffet with lots of pizza and garlic cheese sticks! The salads are fresh at the salad bar which is a plus. It is a little bit loud but what pizza place isn't. There are children of course and well I don't mind because I'm there to eat the pizza!! I highly recommend. I also always recieve coupons in the mail which my family lives ordering in. We wouldn't chose any other place!!! read more

Been a customer of this business for many many years. I recently ordered two pizzas, and was told the wait time would be an estimated 45 minutes. Upon arrival, my order was still not ready. I am a pretty patient person, and waited another 20 minutes before asking for an update. I watched customers who had walked in after me receive their orders while I still had not received mine. Overall, wasted an hour of my time. I asked for a refund because after waiting that long and still being left in limbo about my pizzas, I would rather take my business elsewhere. read more

Pizza was ok, not bad. But the delivery was a nightmare. I was very specific with woman on phone that then pizza was for a meeting that started at 1 pm and that the pizza MUST be delivered at 12:50 pm. We waited...and waited. We ate at Mt. Mikes to watch the season 49er game because their vegie pizza is to die for. We are not vegetarians but this is the best pizza we've ever had. An older man, we assumed the owner, was helping to find the game on their TV. Our pizza arrived and the man continued to look till he found it. They were all very pleasant and hospitable. Very rude employees/management. Asked for parmesan and peppers, got a rude stare for a good minute then was told they were in the box. Looked in it to find only one parmesan packet. My friends and I ordered a pizza for delivery at Pajaro Dunes last night. We called the gatehouse and asked them to let us know if a pizza delivery driver came through so we could meet them. About an hour later we receieved a call from the gatehouse stating no one had come through & maybe we should call them. We call mountain mikes back, the manager was extremely rude and said that he had wasted two hours on our order..how is that possible when we ordered at 7:20 and it was now 8:45? The manager stated he sent his driver out here and that she knocked on our door and we didn't answer. Again, a total lie as we have three dogs who would absolutely let us know if someone knocked on the door. The manager accused us of trying to pull a prank on him and refused to bring our pizza back stating his driver was scared. Scared of a delivery at Pajaro Dunes? Please, this is not a ghetto neighborhood but a gated beach community. We had also arleady paid for the pizza yet they didn't just leave it here when we allegedly didn't answer? Or at the gatehouse for us if you couldn't reach us? The manager was awful, service horrendous so needless to say we came to town and got round table. Probably the first or second best Pizza in town (Cassidys is the other that comes to mind). The pizza is great, it's made quickly, and they have a large dinning room so there's never a problem finding a seat. They have multiple large tables which are great for groups, as well as a TV and a few arcade games. The only downside is that it's a little dirty / run down inside. read more

Great pizza and great service! The guys name was Walter that helped us and he was super nice and answered all our questions!
