For some reason we were convinced that this place would be the size of a Goodwill, but when we entered, it was about the size of a 7-11. I know it sounds weird, but there was a sadness in this place. The people working had no joy and they appeared disappointed when we didn't buy anything. The prices here were exactly what you would expect to pay. My only and only issue with this place was selection. Had it been larger, I'm sure we would have found some treasure. I really like supporting places like this and they get extra points for having a house dog. Unfortunately, they just didn't have anything unique or collection to me.

But lets examine the fall here, shall we? First off, customer service was always bad. I cant even list to you the amount of times I've gotten yelled at for being in the way by the previous manager, the bald dude. the employees would often seem on edge, and if there was a good employee the next times I went I would never see them again (seems like the good ones quit). They've changed managers to a lady, and she seems ok, but the quality of the customer service from the workers has totally gone down it seems. One reason I went was because I would get a damage discount on top of stuff that was already almost cheap. The old manager was sickenly sweet to me whenever I was with my mom, but seemed to hate me when I wasn't. I think this has to do with looking young. and although I'm glad it seems like hes gone, I reiterate the service seems to be even less quality. The reason I mention this is because I guess only the manager can offer damage discounts, and I didn't know this. This time I went last, not only did the girl at the front not offer to get the manager and just say "I cant change prices on items" blatantly, but overall didn't seem like she cared about the interaction at all. Which is fine, but don't expect me to come back. The list is long, so this was the straw that broke the camels back. The long list: I've been yelled at least twice that I can remember, there's been people at the front that can't even speak english so you cant really get help (not faulting them maybe, but seems like they should be stocking instead of up front), often the quality of the items is so bad. They didn't check the cds I got the first time I bought any, and one of the disks for the game I got wasn't in there to begin with, but I checked it too late so I couldn't get money back. The pricing is now on par with goodwill ($25 for a cast iron skillet, $8 for table cloths with stains etc) but lower quality than I find at goodwill; the time before last I went I 1) found a cookie and toilet paper inside one of the coats I tried on 2) saw poop stains on clothes on the racks 3) saw sticky substance on a book with what looked like (hopefully) dog hair). I've heard the previous manager yelling at the workers. I have overheard someone say someone has taken stuff out of her cart before to buy themselves. or maybe steal? idk. but I believe it. People will follow you and wait till you look at something with interest, then snatch it up after you walk away. To top it all off, you will still have to ask people to open up locked boxes for some items. I might have more that I remember later, but I'll stop here. If all of this sounds good to you, and you dont care? then that's fine. I will take me and mine elsewhere where I know there are both great deals, they know my name, and treat me well. They have a sign when you walk in stating what color tag is 50% off and if any tags are discounted. I was lucky because the day I went yellow tags were $1.49 so I was on the hunt for yellow! I found four items total including a Lululemon sports bra and a few basic pieces for my wardrobe. The store is well organized broke down by sections....mens, women's, kids, homewares but it was hard to find someone working there when I had a question. They also had a hefty selection of Seahawks gear so if you're looking for fanwear on the cheap, be sure to stop by here!

I think I literally went through the whole place to make sure I came out with everything I wanted and I wanted to do it twice. But I have to come back to get more things haha. The workers/volunteers are great people. They have soooo many items, there's no way you won't find something you like. One thing that kinda sucks though is the consignments. Ross had a painting for similar size around 25$. This painting is $20. You can find unique items here though.

I don't know how long they may be going through the clothes and formulating the outfits in their mind but some pull it off really well. For me more often than not it doesn't go that way. More specifically with this particular store they always accept the clothes I give for donation. It's almost always clothes I can't fit into and unlikely I ever will again. As a customer the first time here was frustrating. Returns aren't likely to happen but Steve bought a pair of shoes here and both shoes were for the left foot. The folks acknowledged the situation but wouldn't give a refund. So watch out for stuff like that. After a long absence as a shopper here after that we came here and bought some pieces of luggage for some upcoming longer trips we will be doing in the next year or two. Nothing seems amiss with the luggage so I think that transaction and the items will meet their purpose. However if a bad turn comes of an unusual sort with the luggage we bought here that may be relevant to Goodwill I'll post an update but it's unlikely.
