This company helped me realize my dream of owning a home, on a large lot, in Lakeside, AZ with an unobstructed view of Rainbow Lake. I'm grateful. The agent I worked with, Emily Hayes was personable and professional. I sincerely felt she always had my best interest in mind. Emily understands the importance of great customer service. For example, whenever I had a question, I would call or text Emily and her response was immediate. Her combination of providing great customer service, her knowledge of the area, as well as her professionalism made my buying experience as good as it can get. I can't imagine using anyone else than Emily Hayes for my Real Estate needs in the White Mountains; she definitely exceeded my expectations.

Why I choose Lindsay Peters of Frank M. Smith & Associates to sell my house…read moreMy goal in selling my Pinetop home was to realize the most profit from the sale to find a better suited home in an adjacent community for the next stage of my life. Why I am thankful I choose Lindsay Peters: Lindsay gave me constructive advice on how to make my home more desirable to a buyer with staging advice, repainting one of the bedrooms to a more neutral color, which cost me only minimal dollars and a small amount of time. She took lovely pictures of my home and also used seasonal personal pics of mine  In the listing. Placing my home on the local realtor tour which provided me with other community realtors' honest opinions of the pros and cons of my home was a bonus and a very helpful service. I loved that she sent me feedback surveys after every showing providing timely input of what buyers wanted.  Within 90 days of listing, when it came time for negotiations of an offer, she assisted me In securing the sale for the amount I needed. Lindsay was very professional, responsive to my many questions and happy to assist above and beyond in the sale of my home. She had a long list of reliable professionals in the field of repairs, cleaning and moving services, etc that are needed by a seller during the process. I highly recommend her and Frank M. Smith & Associates.

I highly recommend because I felt like he really worked for us. Never gave me lip when I found a stupid reason for not liking a house or just saying it didn't feel right. He suggested homes that were in my specs for both cost and preferences. When we made an offer he was always fast to get it out and the paperwork was always accurate. Getting inspectors and professional to give quotes for any needed fixes was always done fast. Fast is very difficult in Mountain Time! When we finally found THE house he was with us every step of the way and checked on us after it was all said and done. Working with him was a great experience.

After finding out that our new home foundation was turned 90 degrees so that our backyard would now stare directly into the neighbors backyard, she removed our agent Chelsea Slade from her post. She then spent about 5 minutes trying to make us feel better about the situation before basically telling us to take it or leave it while at the same time telling us that another contract term that provided a deck expansion was going to cost us extra. She then presented a letter from the developers attorney that they were canceling the contract due to a clause that states if there is a disagreement that they could cancel. The way this happened so fast tells us there is more to this situation than we know. She does not have the ability to problem solve but just cut ties as fast as possible and probably has a problem dealing with men. Beware of The Preserve and their representation and their one sided lengthy contracts.

Then when you go to the "contact us" link, you have to pass a spam test that is completely illegible even with a magnifying glass. Dumb. You just wasted my time. Paying attention to detail is a skill that is highly desirable when purchasing or selling real estate and this tends to make me think someone needs some attention paying retraining. I am glad I don't have a property that I really wanted to sell listed by these folks.

I could write a book on all the problems that came up through out the year. It started in the beginning where they promised things that they did not follow through on, they over billed me for maintenance, cleaning and repairs. They billed me for things that didn't have to be done. They didn't get my permission to replace tile, take out a shower door and replace it with a curtain. They just threw the materials in my backyard. Yet billed me for clean up and for labor. They charged me a few hundred dollars for yard cleanup, when I drove by ,the yard didn't look like it had work done. I could keep going but the bottom line is that they took advantage of me in the beginning. Later down the line after the tenant moved out I discovered the dryer was leaking water, glass shower door was completely removed without my knowledge, tenant had a dog and the dog peed all over the carpet that was recently replaced, home was not as clean as when the tenant moved in, tenant took some of the items I left behind and didn't report water damage or malfunctioning dryer. I'm wondering what I paid the management company for each month. When I call to discuss these things, Cliff said "I can't live with the tenant and control what she does." When I asked where my glass shower door went he said "It was never there." I'm having to clean the carpets, get the home cleaned, replace the glass shower door and dryer. I'm shocked. Isn't this what we pay a managment company for? We pay them to take care of your home and hold the tenant responsible for any damages? Another thing is that they never remember conversations, they do not follow through and scam you in false charges on repairs and clean up.

Being 200 miles away from the property i was buying creates a set of challenges that can be costly and add risk to the purchase. Bill was so on top of the process from the inspections that he personally attended every one of them in my absence. His diligence caught a couple issues that would not normally be noticed and would have cost thousands a few years down the road. He was not only on top of the house i was purchasing from inspections to title to close , he was on top of the home close process for the house i was selling, staying on top of my buyers lender and title co to keep them on track. And when i had challenges with my movers and they were arriving at my new home before i would be able to get there he went to meet them and let them in to get started saving me hundreds of dollars. I don't have the space to list all of the things Bill did to make what would have been a nightmare many times during the process into one of the smoothest transactions i could have ever expected. Bill is 5 stars () only because there is no way to give him the 6 stars he deserves. I would recommend to anyone purchasing a home in the White Mountains of AZ (Heber Overgaard, Show Low, Pinetop Lakeside, Greer, St. Johns, Springerville, Eagar, Alpine, Snowflake and Taylor) to get Bill Miketta as your agent and you will never regret it.

I've lived in the Mid-West (where the…read moremanners come from) and I've lived in the North Woods where a fireplace is a good thing to be around. In Florida they got bugs so big they get expressions on their face when they see you, I also met the prettiest girl in my life down there. Bill Miketta is the greatest real estate agent I have ever met anywhere. In fact, he has done so much in the simple exercise of selling a house, a house to me, and so much of it after the fact, when the ink is already dry on the deed, that I have to start with the latest, what he did for me this week, and work backwards. Yet to preface, I bought the house in June at retirement, and then discovered I would actually be working, in another State, until May of 2020. This week Bill Miketta discovered my pump house had been struck so close by lightning that my motor died, and that the tank had just 8 inches water in it. He discovered this because he was there to help the security company activate my cameras on my phone up there in Vernon, where the new house is and I ain't and could not be. Bill Miketta to the rescue. I asked him if I could mail my phone to him to accommodate this not because I don't trust my own alarm company, but because I trust Bill so much and because he once again offered to help. Mind you, this is now three months since the sale of the home. When he discovered this he pulled the money to replace the pump out of his own pocket and ordered the precise item for me from the manufacturer to get it all in the works as soon as possible, and told me not to worry he'd help with the install when it got there? This has saved me at least five hundred bucks - three months after the sale of the home, in which, remember, he made his fair remuneration not from me, but from the seller. You may well ask yourself what a man of Bill's indefatigable energy might do were he the listing agent of the home and I'll tell you what I think - the very same. This is Bill Miketta's ethic; if real estate were football and you were on his team there could be no better coach, offense or defense: George Halas / Bill Miketta. What else? Well, been at my home as I could not be for the placement of my new propane tank, secured my internet access (no small feat in Vernon), interfaced for me with all the appropriate parties, Frontier, Pioneer, Navopache, etc., service providers I had selected but had no time to interact with... helped me retain the services of a care-taker, offered to keep a UTV I bought in Show Low on his property till I move up there... went there when the pest control I engaged needed to enter my home and then when he himself found the ONLY possible entrance some party animal mice were enjoying like VIP's at Studio 54, he fit the exact piece of metal required to crash their party (no mice since - that was two months ago - a month after the ink was dry on the deed). This may sound over the top for most realtors but it's the absolute truth where Bill Miketta is concerned. There is no way I can list all that he has done for this new guy in town so what I'd like to do is post this on social media and let Bill know if anyone calls him as a result to please give them my name and number so I can personally relay my recommendation. I'm 65: he's the best I've ever worked with anywhere.
