First trip up the mountain and I'll admit it, I was absolutely petrified to take the tram. But once I got to the top and saw those breathtaking views, every nervous second was worth it. In doing my research for our trip, I came across so many suggestions for this place. I was excited to try it when we ventured up the Jackson Hole Aerial Tram. You can smell the waffles (and the sugar) as you're exiting the tram at over 10,000 feet above sea level. It's a great welcome and just intensifies the cravings to try these things out! They are definitely popular and busy. They have restrooms available, but no sinks, only hand sanitizer. The line is long, but moves fairly quickly. There's limited seating inside and outside, but there's also plenty of beautiful places to make your own little spot to sit and enjoy your waffles outside. They also have some cute merch available, which my daughters wanted some of their cute waffle socks. It's a limited menu, and they get orders out fairly quickly. We weren't super hungry at the time, so we decided to just share one waffle. We went with the Cobbler which has mixed berry compote and whipped cream. The waffle was just okay. Not sure if the scent of them overpowered the taste or if they had just been really hyped up and we were expecting more. I found the waffle to be a bit on the dry side and very crumbly. The berry compote was the best part of it. Maybe they were having an off day as I see so many great reviews and recommendations for this place. We were there first thing when they opened. Everyone seems to jump off gondola and head straight there, so line does get long. However, they do make them pretty fast. It's a cute little building on top of mountain and you literally think it might fall off because it is leaning. Which was fun... lol The waffles were good, now were they worth what they cost? I don't think so, but you paying for the experience. If you don't like chewy bacon do not get the gateway waffle. Mine was good, really sweet. Service is quick and waffles are abundant. We got the Nutella waffles, the waffles were warm and fluffy. Nice little snack in a unique place. Outdoor and indoor seating area available but can get crowded. Would definitely come back during the winter season to try other flavors. read more

Corbet's Cabin was one of the top highlights of my family's trip in Jackson Hole. A warm waffle at over 10,000 feet up? Say less. The tram ride up was perfect and breathtaking. The views were absolutely insane, that pictures simply did not do it justice. It only took about 10 minutes to get all the way up, which was perfect. The views from the top, despite the wind, were once in a lifetime. The Nutella waffle was my favorite. Anything with chocolate is what I will always order! The berry compote and the brown sugar waffles were also delicious. And, when paired with hot chocolate and hot cider, it was the perfect meal. We could've gone up here for waffles for every day. We had a ski pass that was good for our whole stay, and it included this team ride. If you are an advanced skier, sometimes the mountain is open for you to ski down. However, they say it is the hardest trail. Corbet's Cabin is not to be missed. It's worth everything and anything! read more

Our order came out in 10 mins, we took the tramp up just to see the view and have the most wonderful waffles. Totally worth it! The wait is not long however they do get crowded inside and out so come warly, I wiuldn't recommend coming during the middle of the day as that is the most busy time for them. After a few mountain hikes, we decided to find a place to sit down and enjoy some food. We had heard good things about this waffle spot from our wildlife tour guide, so we gave it a try. The flavor was decent, but overall, I felt it was overrated compared to waffles back in my hometown. If I return, I might try The Gateway with peanut butter and bacon for something more savory. And if you do all that, then you ABSOLUTELY MUST visit Corbet's Cabin for one of their famous waffles. Disclaimer: I'm a big sweets guy. Like, Buddy the Elf without the tights. I love me some waffles, and I've enjoyed them all over. Hotels, restaurants, diners, many homes, even several places in Belgium. And I have NEVER had a waffle like Corbet's. Not thick and dense, but rather crispy, light, and fluffy, unlike any waffle I've ever had before. My wife and I selected "the Belgian", and it was totes amazeballs. The waffle was prepared quickly, and the staff was very friendly. There were several tables inside, and places to eat outside as well. We though this was a gimmick, but these are quality waffles and we were so happy we stopped in after our tram climb. Clearly we weren't alone because there were a lot of other people around, though they cleared the line quickly. All of our waffles were good and you can't go wrong with any choice. The waffles are good, but a little too crumbly to eat without a fork or even a plate (they come on a piece of wax paper and a sheet of foil underneath. Not sure how busy it is during the ski season, but the place was packed in the middle of June--great for them, but a little crammed for the customers. The tables inside seat 6-8, but the tables are close together and you can't get through to a table if someone is sitting in the table next to it--they'll have to get up to let you in. There is patio seating, but when it is 40° with winds at least 10mph out, most want to sit inside. Service is fast, though. read more

When I was planning activities with my friend during our visit to Jackson Hole, I put on the list "ride the tram up the mountain and get a waffle." Riding up the aerial tram, in Teton Village, Corbet's is the only spot for some warmth and sustenance. It's no frills, no nonsense and simple. Waffles, coffees, spiked hot drinks, tea and cocoa. It gets crowded so be ready to share a table with strangers and get cozy. The line moves quickly and the staff can seem brusque to some but to me, I loved it. Saw this place mentioned in an IG story and knew I had to try it. You can only access it by gondola, and the tickets are a bit pricey at 60+ USD per ticket. It is a round trip ticket though so you don't have to pay it twice. It was suuuuuper busy when I visited, but the staff were friendly and the wait times weren't insanely long. I was there on july7. Just been on a 4 day Yellowstone tour and I had some time on the last day and so I took the aerial tram. I was thrilled with the ride and the views until I came here. I saw the menu and I ordered a waffle and was paying and the guy was seeing if I tipped or not. I did not tip. I do tip when I dine out where is is table service. The guy serving the waffle at the register just threw the waffle at the counter. Not sure if he disliked me because I am Indian and my skin is brown or because I did not tip. I was shocked. He said- " that's your waffle" and threw it at the counter and didn't even hand it to me. My point is if you are not white and you don't plan on tipping then don't go there. read more

We didn't try the famous waffles (although the aroma was tempting) but opted for a nice, cozy hot cocoa. It was deliciously topped with a huge dollop of whipped cream. Views can't be beat, although it was extremely cloudy and day we visited. We walked the top of the world trail and we're able to see some cloud clearings but mostly just white up there. This is a great little spot to enjoy some warm waffles and hot chocolate before jumping on the aerial tram to head back down the mountain. It is very snug inside and more than likely you will end up sharing a table with some of the tram passengers. There is also deck seating outside but in our case it was very cold outside and I believe we were currently stuck in a cloud so we stayed inside. The only way to get here is up the tram (which you should expect to wait an hour or more to arrive at the top). Normally the tram holds 100pp. With COVID only 25pp. But in a group of savory eating breakfast skippers (including myself) we were all pretty impressed with how the crispy sweet waffles just melt in your mouth. Worth a stop! We went both days we skied at jackson hole. When we went the first day we got the Nutella and split it between two of us it was delicious and filling. The second day we got the melted brown sugar (forget the actual name) it has a similar flavor to syrup while being less sticky which is why they do that flavor, but it was less filling than the Nutella. Definitely would recommend the Nutella. The hot chocolate was delicious and the value of the PBR wasn't bad considering you're at a tiny hut. Seating is tight so best to be patient and kind to others and share a table. It was a bit frustrating that some people were saving seats for their friends who were coming on the next tram because people could've sat and ate their waffles by the time their friends got there.
