Could be the worst RV park we have used since our RVing began in 1995. Grounds are not maintained. Dog and cat waste everywhere. Middle of the night our power pedestal failed with a bang. Advertised as good Sam but this should not be a Good Sam. Place looked like no one has taken care of the park. read more

If you want a fairly decent night's sleep, a clean site, a useable picnic table ...forget this place. Being on a cross country trip, we are used to an occasional distant, or fairly close train, have been up against the sound barrier of freeways, in areas where the park's majority leave at 5 AM and never bothered us so I am not thinking I should be in the wilderness but... this morning after 4AM 4 Hugh trains went through blowing their horns, blinking their lights, forget sleeping, every time one passed another ... I thank god for out transportation system, but fell I should have been warned I was almost sleeping on the side of the tracks! Mostly, full time, lots of old rigs, picnic tables were old, paint peeling and wood warped ... sorry but I felt no pride here ... never checked the facilities, so no comment... This is a great place just off the highway. There is a train track behind the place no fault of the park but it didn't bother us. It had pull thru spots, pet friendly, wifi, cable, 30amp full hookup sites. Very reasonably priced. The people were very friendly on the phone and even said they would stay open late for our arrival. When we arrived they were very helpful and said they were new and trying to upgrade, but we found it to be a really clean place. We will definitely stay here again!! read more

On our way to Montana, we stopped in wells and were planning to do some camping but ended up at Mountain Shadows RV due to a snowstorm. Place was still open at 9:30pm and only charged me 19 bucks to stay the night. Quick and easy and a pretty comfortable setup. Cleanest bathrooms I have seen in almost any public situation. And a Laundry room? Awesome. Would be a great place to stop if doing a cross country drive. read more

Probably the rudest attendant I've ever experienced in my life. Called before 10pm. No answer. But online says 24/7 so we decided to check it out. We pull up. Lights off but sign says open? I walk up to the door. Sign says "after hours, pay in the morning". So we park. This nasty lady yells at us that we have to pay first. Obviously embarrassed, I apologize and tell her I'm sorry but the sign says...."I doesn't say that". Uhhhhh, there is literally a sign next to the door that says "after hours pay in the morning". She insisted there wasn't a sign. I continue to apologize and she continues to be rude. Then I ask her "am I crazy? What does the sign say?" So she walks outside and reads the sign (after hours pay in the morning). No apology. She says they are technically closed. "Online shows you as open"...."I know." She says. "Again, I'm sorry, I tried to call." She says "and no one answered, did they?" Unbelievable. Where do these rude, nasty people come from? read more

This is not an RV resort. It was a good place to spend two nights sleeping and getting some rest. The office staff were very nice and we were able to take a day driving up to Angel Lake. Would stay at again. It got 4 stars as it was clean quiet an easy on off freeway. Gravel level sites very close to neighbors but it worked. Clean and friendly goes a long ways. Nice for one night. We were traveling from California to Yellowstone & stayed here. People at the front office are extremely nice and helpful. We were traveling with a group of 5 and had no problem with parking. 2 stars for cleanliness. 3 stars for customer service. read more

Spent one night here while passing through the area. Friendly owners. Many of the spaces around the perimeter were occupied by permanent residents with the center spaces used by short-timers like us. Spaces were flat and easy to pull through. Adequate pet area for our dog. My reason for giving this place 5 stars are the bathrooms. Wow, you go into the spacious bathroom area and immediately smell the bleach. There were 4-5 toilet stalls, 4-6 sinks, and about 5 spacious shower stalls with roomy dressing areas outside each one. Everything was spic and span. I've been in a lot of bathrooms in my day, but this one was the cleanest and nicest one I've ever seen. And when you're only spending one night before hitting the road for a long drive the next day, what else is important? read more

First impression, was the man who answered the phone, was very pleasant & helpful. When we got there they gave us a veterans discount. They had a pull in spot, nice & level. Even in the middle of December all utilities were turned on & the shower was wonderful, hot & plenty pressure. Everything was clean & tidy! Will definitely stop in again!! read more

This RV park is easy to get to, pet friendly, has level sites, a picnic table at each site, and very very very clean bathrooms/showers. The laundry is affordable and tidy. The couple who runs/owns this park are friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. As an added bonus this park is across the street from the post office (if you need to wait for mail to catch up with you) and within easy walking distance of the public library, a very tasty Chinese restaurant, and the local grocery store. We also walked to the city park about two blocks away so our dog could have a good run in the grass. We will definitely stay here again and I highly recommend this park to anyone traveling through this area. read more

Nice quiet RV park for a over night or few days stay. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry are very clean. Laundry prices reasonable compared to others. It's a gravel parking spot with a strip of grass. Nice trees for shade. Jerry & Karen are very accommodating. Good selection of cable channels available. Some full time units there, but everyone nice. Very friendly & extremely clean. I wouldn't give much credit to Megan's review. I saw the damage made by her dog & talked with the manager. According to him, cleaning up after your dog does not mean leaving the dog poop in a bucket in the sun for your neighbors to smell. No wonder they were evicted. My only complaint is in regard to the trains that blasted their horns all through the night. read more

We stayed there overnight on our way to Yellowstone. The people were very pleasant. After we checked in, we had some questions and we interrupted the guys dinner. He was very nice about it and answered our questions. About 10 minutes latter, he came to our rig to make sure everything was good. Would definitely stay there again read more

We had mechanical issues and found ourselves stuck in Wells, NV. It was a nice surprise to find this RV park right in town. Level gravel pull thru, small patch of grass with picnic table. Advertised WiFi but it didn't well work for us, our cell phones were faster (AT&T). I found the train noise charming. Nothing fancy, but giving 4 stars for the friendly, helpful owner(?) and the pristine bathrooms. WOW, best I've experienced in RV park to date. I hope to not find myself in Wells again, but if I do, I'd definitely stay here again. read more

I graded this park on a sliding scale since the town around it isn't much. Not saying it's a bad place but it appears that it's time has come and gone. I'm just saying you can probably get a sweet deal on an old hotel (a Norman Bates hotel) if you're the entrepreneuring type. I'm not reviewing the town, so....the park is all gravel with 13 pull throughs in the middle. The back in spots on the outer perimeter , 25 i think, were mostly occupied by long term folks and smaller RV's. There were plenty of trees in the park and I suppose for a small place it was fairly roomy. The WIFI worked reasonably well and the park was quiet for being close to the highway. Cable was offered but we did notes it so no comment. There was a train track nearby but was far enough away that it wasn't an issue. The crown jewel of this park was the restroom and showers. I was quite impressed when I opened the door and found 5 spacious shower stalls and maybe 4 toilet stalls in a very clean climate controlled building. Not bad for an over night stay under $30. I wish we had more time to explore the town and the nearby lake. Maybe next time. read more

Small, clean and pet friendly. New owners so being improved. Only negative is trees need to be trimmed as they rubbed on popouts. Within easy walking distance is a Chinese restaurant, Family Dollar and grocery store. read more

Arrived late into town and found this place. The owner was very friendly and helpful, guided us into our spot as it was dark and even gave us a map with a route to our next destination drawn out. We have a dog and the place was very pet friendly. The bathroom/shower building was spotless. I would definitely stay here again. Also, the Chinese restaurant next door was really good. read more

My experience at this park was awful. The harassment started the second day we moved in. My family and I stayed at mountain showdows Rv park as monthlys for a total of 50 days and just about every single day of it was horrible. I never had a issue with earl but his wife constantly harrased me and other ladies in the park. She would stalk around my trailer then stand outside yelling my name until I would open my door. I didn't even feel comfortable enough to play with my two young children outside I would hide inside with shades closed wile my husband was at work. They stole off my triler and I have proof, cussed at my 4 year old about our dogs. Called me lazy said my whole generation was lazy my husband who works 14 hours a day was a lazy piece of shit, thretend to Tow my truck spread awful rumors about myself and another lady in the park on a diabetes walk. The list goes on and on. Sure the park looks nice and things are clean but if you are a women I would not stay there more then a night or two. It says something when five monthlys all move in the same month because of the same reason.. We moved out a week early because I just couldn't take it anymore. And to the lady saying to discredit Meghan you should get your facts straight and stop reading into her lies! Have a nice day! read more
