Truly UNimpressive and WORTH AVOIDING This park used to have a nightly rate of $14. It STILL shows this on the sign upon entry (they've attempted to wash it out - but - its STILL visible.) It's now 45./night and somehow 4 nights were $186. for me - I didn't bother asking about the extra six bucks. Despite the rate MORE than tripling, its still 2+ miles OUT of town (so to go anywhere, you must drive) and NO improvements have been made within the park (which is mostly full timers). I was taken back by the new rate and asked about their participation in any discount programs and the NEW manager (not real friendly or helpful) said "not yet." Further, she pretended to "play dumb" about the $14. rate - even though the entry sign still (faintly) shows it. They are still the least expensive in Elko - but - next time, I will stay elsewhere unless their rate is consistent with what they provide (which isn't much.) Yes, they do have a laundry. However, the restrooms / shower is WORTHLESS. Its a single occupancy so if any number of residents wish to use it, the line would be overbearing! Bottom line: AT BEST this place is worth $30 per night on a daily basis. read more

Easily the best park we have been to. Such a lovely staff and environment. The owners really care about their business, keep it clean and constant maintenance, so many improvements just in the couple of months of us staying here. We have a baby and felt very safe here, it's also extremely quiet. Can't recommend it enough for short or long stays! read more

It has been a couple years since we've been here. Covid kind of shut the whole wrestling in Idaho down, so there was no need to come here. Now my son had a lighter Academy in Windover, so it was a perfect opportunity to spend the night. It was nice they remember us, even though the kids are much bigger. The price is still the same. Yep, call hookups for $14 a night. Like $15.12 after tax. We called ahead to make sure we could get a spot. I had to leave a message, and they called back within about 15 minutes. We arrived about 5:15 PM, paid our $15 and went to a site and hooked up. You really can't ask for a better site. I've read a couple things that say that this place is a dive, but really, You have restrooms, showers, hook up for frikken $15 lol. We will continue to stop here when we can. I know the price will be going up, but they have a freeway sign that states it's $14 a night and they have to honor that until the sign can be changed. So get here before the price goes up. Even though $27 will still be a good value compared to what the crazy post Covid inflation has done to the world.a am read more

This is a small not fancy RV park right off I-80. The grounds are well kept with grass, large trees and gravel spots. They only charge $15 a night. We used the showers and although a bit dated, they were clean and well maintained. We stopped there for on night and it was great. The best part is the management. They are friendly and professional. The office is extremely nice, helpful and informative. We were passing through on our vacation. We stayed few days and it was nice to have a clean park, pull through and right off the freeway. I was broken down on a holiday weekend. This was a tough spot to be in. I ended up taking my RV here to await repairs. I am super happy I did. Affordable rates. Awesome park manager. The park has all you need. Water, sewer, electric hookups. Nice bathrooms. Laundry including an oversized washer. Coverage with AT&T and Verizon (so you can stream). Some grass and trees around the spots. It's a welcome respite for travelers. So while I was at the park I was able to catch up on some work, relax, and also wash my comforters without having to sit at a laundromat. I'd say that's pretty awesome. read more

This was just what we needed. An inexpensive place to hook up for one night and get some sleep! There was some noise, being right off the hwy, but we slept right through it. The park itself was quiet. Bathroom was fine, I didn't use the shower,but there are 2 in the bathroom. We pulled in without calling ahead and the managers were friendly and helpful. Great spot to just drive by, pull in, spend a night. Cheap, $15. But the park kind of shows you why is cheap. Old bathrooms, tight and really not leveled gravel spots, far from town, dirty.....definitely not a resort. But if you just want a place to crash in your RV in stead of a rest area, this is it. Would we stay here again, probably. I guess the price is ok. read more

Dreaded side by sides, but done so that they are spacious. Staggered so you do not open directly to your neighbor's door. Freeway close means you will hear it. No doubt there is a substantial train center nearby. Both effectively dealt with by our 'white noise' at night. Very nice young lady, Melissa, running the office. No cable or internet, but great over the air TV reception. The 2 other parks in town we first looked into were booked. Drove by both coming in. The one we could see into did not look superior to Valley View. This was for sure the least expensive park we have ever stayed at; would have been great at twice the price! read more

A small park 2 miles out of Elko. Mostly live aboards. Very inexpensive, fine for a night or two while traveling. Minus: train and road noise. This is common for areas along I-80 in UT and NV. Plus: there are trees and some grass. Good in high plains many parks are all gravel. Also there are several casinos and many local restaurants in Elko. read more

While traveling thru Nevada we were looking for an RV Park near Elko. I called many RV places and spoke to many rude people. Then I called Valley View and talked with a very welcoming, nice lady. We booked a spot and proceeded to the RV park. We booked 1 night and stayed for 4 nights! The beautiful lady and her daughter run the park and both were very hospitable. Yes, the park is old but we were assigned a great spot with shade trees and close to the laundry and restrooms. It was over 100 degrees in Elko and the shade was a welcomed site. The restrooms were very old but they were spotless. We got our showers and laundry done in the recently renovated laundry room. The lady did say they are planning on updating the restrooms as well. We would definitely stop there again. A few miles out of town but on the main road. read more

What a horrible experience! The mom and daughter who run the place have serious problems. Waking people up by pounding on my door at 5:AM, asking me to move my pickup less than a foot. They are weird. Plain and simply the strangest people I've ever met. Leaving notes on doors to water the yard (weeds), seriously! Also, they come to the door of the office dressed in their pajamas and night robes in the middle of the day. They are dirty, strange, and rude. This is not a good place to stay! Be warned! This place is utterly disgusting! Do not stay here unless you want the worst Elko RV park experience you've ever had! No wifi, no showers unless you pay extra, and they are creepy. read more

Called for a price on monthly rate, they said $359 month with water and sewer included and electric is a $150 deposit. If you wanted to use their showers and restrooms it is $30 more a month. I showed up on the 13th and they said the monthly rate is the 1st to the 30th not a 30 day period and they would not divide monthly by the number of days since it was the 13th. Then they said they charge double the price for electric than what they pay for electric and they read the meters which I don't trust her especially since they charge double the rate than what they pay. read more

This is an RV park sandwiched between the freeway and the railroad tracks on the outskirts of east Elko. When we made reservations by phone a couple of days in advance of our stay. We were in Elko to deer hunt in the surrounding area. When we checked in we paid for two nights with an option for a third night. On the second night we returned from the mountains at around eight pm with a nice deer. We hung the deer from a tree on our sight. Next morning at around 7:30 am we were skinning the deer when a lady accosted us screaming that we could not process a deer in the park and she was calling the police. We finished skining the deer, cut it in half and placed it in ice chests and cleaned up our equipment before the Elko police arrived. We were not provided with any park rules just a site map so we could find our space. The manager parked in front of us preventing us from pulling out of the space. When the police arrived I asked the officer if Elko had an ordinance that prohibited processing a deer in public view. He informed me that Elko does not have such an ordinance. He asked for our ID and Deer Tag which we provided. He then informed us that we were free to leave, shook hands and wished us luck. We finished packing and left, paying for the third night on our way out. The park was cheep and convenient. We were so tired at night that the constant freeway and train noise didn't keep us awake. We strongly resent the way we were treated by management. We did not intend to break any park rules but then were were never informed of any rules until the lady screamed at us like were criminals and called the police. Rest assured we won't be back. read more

Stay anywhere else but this rv park. Vehicles getting broken into and items stolen from outside your 5th wheel seems to happen all the time. Management will do nothing about this issue and don't even get me started on the bathroom and shower issues. read more
