The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!

The eggs were okay, the pan fries were magnificent with how it was sauteed and seasoned, the sausages I ordered were great by how they grilled them. The coffee was good, but it could be better. The interior of the establishment looks very much like an antique shop with all the knick-knacks and old portraits decorated around the cafe. The service was pretty great with the waitress coming to my table very frequently. My only other complaint is that there is only one washroom there, which would not bother me so much if it was more available. Overall, I really enjoyed eating at the Corner Nook and will make sure to frequent there again.

I substituted the sweet tempura brussels sprouts for fries and another did onion rings. The rest of us had the delicious fries. The burgers were very big and difficult to finish for several of us so we took a lot of it home. While here we also ordered the special "Doggy Burger" for our dog. This is a basic cooked hamburger which we chopped up for the dog. And I also ordered a slice of the white chocolate raspberry dessert that the worker said was fresh out of the oven. Almost everything comes in half or full. I can't imagine anyone finishing a full meal here - their slogan is "bigger is better" and they really mean it.
