    Soup and salad

We went there after a long hike at Maple Pass and had a fun experience. We had refreshing cocktails, White Peach Sangria and Vodka Raspberry Lemonade. The upriver heat pizza was very good, although could have done with some more seasoning. The chowder and salad were pretty good as well. The tacos that we took for to go were not satisfactory at all sadly. There were some mistakes in the menu like tacos would come with salad but that was not true, the waiter had correct that for us. All in all a good restaurant in a quiet place like Rockport, WA. Just a little disappointed that it was short staffed when we went so it took awhile for the waiter to come get our orders but he was very nice.

After backpacking for 4 days my group and I needed real food BADLY. Luckily, this spot was open and on our way out of NCNP. We sat outside on their patio which was gorgeous and so pretty. The staff here were all super friendly and efficient. I tried their wild berry cider, and that was delicious. I also ordered their Plain Jane burger which was exactly what I needed after eating dehydrated food for four days lol. The fries were especially good. Awesome spot. If I'm ever in NCNP again, and I hope I will be, I'll be stopping here again.

40 minutes of waiting, no beer that I ordered 7 minutes ago.

The bald headed server is rude, absolute jerk. They are unable to handle 10 tables with two servers. We came in and the two groups behind us were served first. We sat for 33 minutes before hearing what can I get you? We definitely didn't get the soup of the day information like the table next to us did. You don't have many options here, but versus dealing with this bald headed punk that cannot remember what is in the bucatini, I'd eat at the mobile gas station across the street. By the way the bucatini has garlic butter tomatoes and spinach, I've watched this incompetent clown have to look it up 3 times.

Swiss cheese and mushrooms hamburger. Came with fries for $18.

They had a good variety on their menu. The servers were pleasant and the service was quick. I chose to eat outside. What a cute area. I had the burger with Swiss cheese and mushrooms. It was good. The prices seemed average. I would recommend them.

Great food. Service by Denise was superior! Very welcoming interior. Fresh food. Tap room, full bar. Something for everyone!

After our spontaneous trip to Diablo Lake, we were craving burgers and fries. We didn't do any research and just decided to stop wherever looked good on the road. We saw a busy place with a long line, so we thought, why not! Our meal included Parmesan wings for $14.50, the Old Whiskey burger with dill and fries for $17.50, and the Up River Heat burger with dill and fries for $17.50, along with soda and beer. Amazing! The surroundings were beautiful when we sat outside. However, our server wasn't very positive, and it took a long time to get our bill. At least two other servers asked us nicely if we needed anything. Despite the service, the place and food were spectacular!

Hatch Chile Burger with fries and a salad

A group of us walked in on a sunny Sunday for lunch after spending the weekend backpacking in the North Cascades. We came ready to devour the menu in an instant and they knew the assignment. We were seated quickly and they were kind enough to bring out baskets of fries before our burgers so we could start eating while they finished up our food. Our burgers were served with salads which felt really refreshing after three days of dehydrated meals and packaged snacks. The burgers were hefty portions, great for the post-hike appetite - I got the hatch chile burger and enjoyed every bite of it. The fries were perfectly crisp on the outside and still fluffy and light on the inside. The salad was simple but oh so good. We were able to pay by separate checks and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Will be back next time I'm in the area!

Ordered the Smoked Salmon Chowder. Tasted like Salmon, but no pieces of Salmon in it..??

Great food and friendly staffs!!! We stayed at the North cascades Inn across the street and got 10% off. Brenda and Robert run both places so great business synergy haha they are very friendly to welcome you in the area with some good food! Nice indoor and outdoor space, dog friendly too!

    Dog friendly patio?

Yes! There were beautiful well behaved dogs there that made the experience even that much more fun. The patio is lovely, a garden setting. There are outdoor lights strung around. I would have given our visit 5 stars but we waited quite awhile to… Read more

The entrance is delightfully well-done, and our faces lit up when we walked into the bar - intricately detailed and authentic enough that a '20s dress code could be reasonably enforced. We were seated immediately, and the cadence of service was immaculate: our appetizer came out just after our drinks, and the entrees appeared as we were taking the last bites of the appetizer. But I wasn't thrilled with my selections. The Rum Punch was served at room temperature and the jalapeño popper chicken sandwich was drier than the description suggested. My partner got the Jalisco Fizz, which she says paired well with the mushroom pasta, and really enjoyed the salmon deviled eggs. At $11-14, the drinks are priced well, but the food is overpriced. The jalapeño chicken sandwich was not a $23 sandwich, and a tempting lobster/shrimp roll was listed at $35. Overall Speakeasy Saloon is worth making an evening of. Dress up and sip on whiskey drinks in the low light with loved ones.

I really liked The In Between's logo and interior design, it felt like stepping into the Prohibition era. We ordered a drink each from the Seasonal Summer Menu and shared a hummus plate. The drinks were nothing extraordinary but pretty good, and the hummus plate was a great shareable snack for the two of us. However, the service was super slow and frustrating. The staff were overextended since they were taking on both the bartender and server roles, so it was very difficult to catch their attention. We ended up having to approach them while they were in the middle of making a drink after trying to flag them down for 20 minutes and failing. We were in a bit of a rush towards the end so this was not the best experience, but definitely a bar worth checking out if you're not in a rush and have a lot of patience!

It's at the corner of one of the buildings. Dark, mid sized interior with some cool neon lights and light up marble pattern bar counter. Not very busy when I went at happy hour/dinner time on a Friday night, but the place is busier later at night on Friday/Saturday during the warmer months. Sometimes they have events and DJs. Sat at the bar and tried out some happy hour specials. Got the Korean sauce wings ($12) and cheese truffle fries ($8). Decent amount of fries, definitely has cheese flavor but not that much truffle oil aroma. I liked the wings which you get 6 per order. They weren't fried, but rather tender and juicy. Sauce was agreeable. Definitely enough food for my dinner. As for the drinks, I got the rosemary mule which is Moscow mule with some rosemary herb. The copper mug they use is good sized. Tasted refreshing although could feel the alcohol afterwards. Also tried a corpse reviver no. 2, which was a little sweet but has a punch. Cocktail prices are not cheap outside of happy hour, in the upper teens. Overall, was glad I tried the place out. Will drop by for happy hour once in a while.
