Great selection with friendly, helpful staff. They sell mead and various beers you don't see at most stores.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT go to the museum looking for a fair price on bourbon. It's ridiculous and they have the nerve to pair it with something else to make the final sale. So if you purchase Weller 12 for $399, you also have to buy an additional item (store pick or something they choose) in order to complete the sale, so you'll easily be out the door at $599+. It's insane. Places like this should be shoved in the dirt for prices like that. read more

I moved to Flagstaff and was looking for the closest store to update my home bar, and I found Mountain Spirits. I've been in Flag for three weeks now, and I've visited here about four to five times already. They have a great selection for almost every type of spirit, and the prices are excellent. I've never seen such a variety for THAT price anywhere down the valley where I'm from. The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable. I'm new to the bourbon scene, so when I asked some questions and shared my flavor preferences, I was given a couple of samples to try. I ended up buying a bottle of 13th Colony that night and returned a few days later to purchase a bottle of Ben Holladay's soft red wheat. I will definitely be coming back here a lot this semester! read more

Walked into the store tonight while visiting Flagstaff and was very impressed. Josh, who helped us with our purchase, was very accommodating and very knowledgable. If we had been driving instead of flying, I could've spent a bunch of money in there. As it was, he had me taste 4 different bourbons to make my decision. They have a great selection of allocated bourbons and a great selection of those that are not. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area and I highly recommend the store. read more

I had a really great experience popping in here for the first time today! The worker at the front was really great and helpful. They have a huge selection of not just beer, wine, and spirits, but snacks, accessories, and really anything else you could really need for either a party or a nice evening at home. I walked in for the first time hoping to get wine for a girls night with little knowledge on everything and I am so happy Josh offered to help me. He gave me the lay of the land with extremely helpful recommendations and insights. He told me about their mystery wine bag section, which I decided to purchase, and I loved everything that came in it! He was super knowledgeable and so sweet throughout the whole time I was there. Do you ever come across a store and when you walk in you are disappointed that you did not find it earlier? This is how I felt about Mountain Spirits. I was greeted right away and was asked if I needed any help. I told the associate that I was just looking around. To my surprise they had everything you could imagine. From local craft beer, some good out of state finds, and loads of wine and hard alcohol. They even have all of the little things you may need to have a killer party. After a bit of looking around I asked from some help with some wine choices. I was looking for a local wine that I had tasted on a wine tour and he know right away what I was looking for. He pointed me in the right direction and also gave me some great recommendations which turned out to be top notch too. After some small talk I had come to find out that the owner was the one helping me and I was not only impressed to see an owner working but I was also impressed with is knowledge of his product. The business is very organized and very clean. This is the place to go to for some of those hard to find items on your list. I will absolutely be back soon and would recommend this place to anyone. read more

Not a giant selection of whiskey's, but they had some very high quality picks. The only issue I had was that some things could not be purchased individually, but had to be picked up in combination with things that didn't interest me as much. Some prices ere pretty good while others were high. That seems to be the nature of liquor stores these days because it's all about your distributor. read more

This is a beautiful and clean place to buy your alcohol. It has everything you can image and a generous variety. It is well organized and easy to navigate around. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I definitely recommend stopping in here if you're on the west side of town. read more
