Loved their portions, can definitely be shareable. The pretzels were good. The pulled pork sandwich was hefty and will definitely fill you up, really good sauce. I did not expect the mac and cheese to also be good, but I recommend to try as a side. It was busy but the servers were still attentive.

04/13/26 Excellent service and food. The restaurant is in a downtown area and you have to pay for parking. You can pay at the kiosk and it is only $1 per hour. My husband got the beer flight which includes six 5 ounce tasters. At only $14 for 30 ounces total, it's a deal to get to try six different beers. After reading other reviews, we settled on the Irish spring rolls and the Vietnamese burger. Both did not disappoint. I highly recommend both. We stopped here on our way to our hotel and the Grand Canyon and it was worth the stop. You won't be disappointed.

We come to the lumberyard at least 2-3 times a year when we're road tripping to Phoenix from Albuquerque. We specifically make a detour just to come here; the Vietnamese burger and their Mac and cheese is what really draws us in, but this time we discovered the prickly pear lemonade. I'm socked, the prickly pear lemonade is sooo good! It's better than I coup have imagined or expected, it's just sweat enough and has a perfect balance of tangy flavor and you can taste the prickly pear but it's not overpowering, 10/10 we're both in shock over it. As always, the Vietnamese burger was fantastic and worth the detour to come here; and the Mac and cheese absolute perfection as always. This time we added hatch chilies to our Mac and cheese which we don't usually do but it was a nice add on. Emma, our server was really friendly, as always the service here is top notch.

When the Amish show up at your brewery you know it's good. My husband got the hatch chile burger and said it was delicious. My pulled pork was flavorful without a lot of sauce. 5 stars for a few reasons nice Happy hour with good discounts on a variety of drinks. And portion sizes were generous. Also who these days is offering Mac and cheese as a side option without an up charge? I didn't get it but think that was a miss. I actually saw the Cajun Mac after I ordered my pork , that sounded awesome. Read the menu too fast. Normal brewpub vibe lots of outdoor seating. The train tracks are right outside that was a novelty for us and enjoyed it. They don't use their whistle in town. Nice server. We saw a family of Amish come in during our visit . The food alone is definitely worth the visit.

    Bowl and prickly pear lemonade

Went in on a Monday night around 545 and were seated right away. Mollie was personable and helpful and checked in on us throughout the meal. I got a bowl with mahi mahi and a prickly pear lemonade, both of which were phenomenal. The bowl had a great balance of spice and sweetness and the lemonade was perfectly tart. Dad ordered the sausage platter and said it was "really good" which is high praise from him. Mom got the pulled pork and agreed it was delicious. We sat in the bar so it was a little noisy (March Madness) but it was great for people watching. Would highly recommend - it was the best meal we ate on our trip to Flagstaff.

Didnt get photos of my food because I got sidetracked... VERY solid outdoor dining. Not as big a fan of inside but still solid. Burgers were good. Would opt for the normal ones NOT extra charge ones since enjoyed normal option better and had both..... Good place for sure. Great for outdoor relaxing.

The lumberyard is a fabulous brewery/ eatery! You enter a very cool fun glade with comfy indoor and outdoor dining areas. It's really rustic and casual. The entire staff are young happy very busy people. I had a wonderful house brewed beer and they have a wide range to choose. The menu is fun and clever. I had the Vietnamese burger and I was blown away. I added the upgraded garlic truffle fries and the dish was ample. I couldn't finish but I did make my way through the magnificent burger. This place is a must visit in Flagstaff!!!

There's a bustling lively atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Half of this place is a restaurant with booths, half is a bar. Pro tip, if there's a wait in the restaurant, grab a seat at the bar and order food. I had a 32oz frontline vanilla porter which was a bit too much but still a fun beer, and quite tasty. I also had fish & chips and honestly this might be the best fish & chips I've had in ages. Not too greasy, good quality fish, and pretty decent fries. Everyone on staff is super friendly, and the patrons are pretty chatty too. 10/10 definitely recommended.

    Banh Mi Burger

My mom, sister and I had a great visit to Lumberyard on our way through Flagstaff. The best part about this place is the food and the hearty portions. I ordered the Vietnamese Banh Mi burger and it was scrumptious! I wanted to eat the whole thing but it was far too much food to consume. I got Cajun fries as my side but if I had a do-over I'd go with something like sweet potato fries, as the Cajun ones were a bit lackluster. I also tried some of my sister's Mac n cheese (which Lumberyard is supposedly known for) and it was super good and creamy. Not a fan of the fact that they penne noodles for it, though. My mom got a regular burger and my sister a pulled pork sandwich. They both enjoyed their meals. We ordered the pretzel sticks as an appetizer and I gotta say I wasn't impressed with those. They could have been softer and beer cheese sauce wasn't the best. I'd skip these if I were you. Our server was friendly and attentive, and all our food came out quickly. This place is LARGE with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is always busy, but based on our experience we don't know why. Ordered a pick up order via their website, very easy to place order but said about 45-50 minutes until it would be ready. We arrived after about 30 minutes and went in to check on our order, they said it would be ready in 5 minutes. Great! Everyone was very nice and there were a lot of employees compared to customers. That's when the positive experience ended. Boneless wings were beyond overcooked and inedible. Was given wrong side sauce as well, so that was $15 in the trash. Mac & cheese was also overcooked and bland, just mush. Brussel sprouts were okay, but again, overcooked. Pretzel sticks were drowning in oil and had to be dried with paper towel. We all had high hopes as this was our first time eating here, but sadly we were very disappointed.

Hatch chili burger with a side of coleslaw. Plus pickles!

After a nice day wandering around downtown Flagstaff we decided to grab a bite to eat at the Lumberyard. We had George, our corgi (yes, he is a service animal). However the heat of the day made us both a bit weary and my wife was struggling with low blood sugar. When we got inside to check in and get a table, the manager, Patty said we needed to be out on the patio, but my wife showed her the service badge and explained that she was not doing great. Quick as a flash Patty told the staff to seat us inside and she then went and got orange juice and water for her. My wife drank it all and slowly removed over the next few minutes. That was such a fantastic welcome, and it was very much appreciated by us. The place is fairly rustic but clean and bustling with people from all over. Menu was great and of course they had a wonderful beer selection. Their red ale is lovely. I ordered the green chili hatch burger which came exactly medium rare with the green sauce and slices of chili. My wife got the reuben egg rolls which were great. Service is outstanding, the food is creative and well executed and obviously they have very good beer. George helped us with our meals a bit as well of course.

This go-around wasn't as impressed. I wasn't feeling a heavy dinner so soup and salad was my choice. Bloody Mary was pretty good, but I'd have liked a little more spice, and less ice, more mix but overall ok. I asked to do my side salad and finish it before the soup came out... oh well .. too much to ask I guess. Salad was great! Lots of ingredients and cold.. good size. Very happy! The Creamy Chicken Poblano was just ok. Lots of chicken and veggies, but there was practically no flavor.. if I was surprised with the offering I'd just have said "creamy chicken"... needed salt and pepper but couldn't taste poblano. Forgot to take a pic... Busy with friendly service.

Do they have chicken pot pie?

I do not remember you have to go online and find the menu.

Is there a gluten free menu? I see (awesome) they only charge a small amount for a GF hamburger bun but I don't know what else is safe for gluten allergy (are the wings fried in the same fryer as other items, same question for fries, etc.).

There are two little stars next to the fries on the menu indicating they may be cooked with gluten containing items.

When will you be open for dine in?

They are open, but only a few tables. The process to eat in is not working well right now. Long lines, have to go back to your car, to wait, etc. They don't have nearly enough tables open, even those that are 6 feet apart.

    Are you open Thanksgiving day?

    yes

    Is there a kids menu?

Yes with all the kid options you would expect

Are dogs allowed on the patio?

No. Not dog friendly at all.

On a tuesday night around 10 would it be all bar only or do they still serve food to underage?

    They still serve food!

The restaurant itself was clean and had a stylish modern-meets-vintage vibe that made the atmosphere feel both cozy and upscale. Their cocktail menu was especially unique. I ordered the Vendetta Ride, and it was easily one of my favorite drinks of the night: light, slightly sweet, and finished with just the right kick. I absolutely loved it. The menu features creative contemporary American cuisine with an emphasis on sharing plates, which made the experience even more fun. We ordered two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert, and overall everything was excellent. My only critique would be the Duck Taquitos. The duck flavor was not there, and the mesquite mole sauce leaned too sweet for my taste. Aside from that, every dish impressed us. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and a great dining experience. Yes, it sounds strange, parsley gelato but holy moly, it is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. It is savory and sweet, so if you like really sweet desserts, it might not be your favorite but it is definitely unique and delicious. Everything was incredible. My only critique is that everything is a shareable and there's no way to serve each item, which is easily fixed with a serving spoon so, not really a critique. 11/10 food Service was great.
