I found this place in Breckinridge a few years back with my family and had so much fun. They have 3 different choices of escape rooms that are all pretty entertaining. My personal favorite (featured in the photo) was the avalanche survival cabin. Our game master was very kind and made sure that we had an amazing time there as well. The only reason I am rating it 4 stars rather than 5 is because I felt that it wasn't as challenging as other escape rooms I have been to in the past. If you are looking for a real brain teaser then this wouldn't be my first choice. read more

We visited Mountain Time Escape Rooms on Halloween so, of course, we chose the Paranormal Mystery. We met Ben, our wonderful guide, who gave us rules and directions for our adventure. After watching the back story video, Ben led us to our room and locked us in. We followed the 'Boogle' instructions to start our quest. After solving several fun puzzles, we completed our mission and sent the ghosts to the great beyond. The special effects were good and we enjoyed the spooky theme. The whole family had a great time! Next time we are in Break, we'd like to try the Find Sasquatch room. Highly recommend this for a good group time! read more

My family did two escape rooms while we were in town (Paranormal & Avalanche). Both were great although we preferred Avalanche. Paranormal was a fun and challenging escape room but did have some technical challenges and we were not able to "complete" the game even though the host running it confirmed we solved it correctly and even tried to help us get the system to accept our completion. Avalanche went smoother and we found a bit more fun which might have been partially due to our host (Holden?) as we really enjoyed our interactions with him along with the game itself. read more

This place was amazing!! My fiancé and I completed the Big Foot this evening and it was beyond what I expected. Their technology on how they incorporate each prop was beyond what I would have thought. Their set up and so intricate and active. If you want to do something fun in Breckenridge, try the Mountain Time Escape Room. We have been to escape rooms in Denver and Boca Raton, FL and this was by far the best experience. Set in a mountain cabin after an avalanche, the goal is to figure out how to get rescued. We had a lot of fun solving the clues and successfully being rescued with 18 minutes left. The faux cabin is very nicely decorated and configured. Professionally done. We will very likely try one of the other local escape options as a result of our experience here. Liked the originality of this escape room, with the interaction throughout, meaning the room itself interacts with you. This gave it a uniqueness to other rooms we've done in the past. Escape rooms can be tough for large groups, and we had 11 people. The reason for only three stars as we didn't think it was as challenging as some other rooms we've done, and there are no half star options or this would be 3 1/2. We are a family of 4 (adults and teens); this was our fourth or fifth escape room, and possibly our favorite. Clues were challenging but not daunting. The audio/video was unique and some of the puzzles were, in our experience, very creative/innovative/surprising. There weren't many red herrings, thankfully. Hostess Reba was charming and accommodating. Come early for some coffee and hot chocolate. Highly recommend. This escape room is on the south side of town (south of Park Avenue, north of Marriott Mountain Valley Lodge). We had dinner (and breakfast) next door at BoLD - it was excellent and is a convenient pairing with the escape room. There is another escape room on the west side - don't confuse the two! read more

With a good level of creativity and teamwork you can escape! Also! They have brilliantly partnered with the cheese store adjacent to them and the winery across the walkway. So you can pair creativity with wine and cheese for a winning and romantic combination. I love when small businesses come together to help each other out. read more

This game has an impressive, spacious and sturdy build out that makes you feel right at home in Breckenridge - you've finally arrived at your getaway cabin! When things go bad, you and your team have to get resourceful to call for help and communicate your location (we made it with 6 or 7 minutes to spare). A really fun, creative game! read more

Absolutely awesome, locally owned business! On a whim while visiting Breckenridge we decided to book an escape room adventure. I've done a couple before (one on the higher-end, shiny side, and one on the lower end more puzzle-focused side) and this one tops the others hands down. I was worried that my wife wouldn't enjoy the experience as she's been a bit reluctant to try an escape room with me. To my pleasant surprise she had a blast. What's so good about it? Well... - The host (Reba for us) was outstanding, with just the right amount of friendly roleplay and kitsch to help us lean into the scenario. Her hints were also great without causing us to immediately know the answer. - The production value of the rooms was stellar. You'll find some of the escape room cliches, but also some new and fun ideas. - The scenario! They actually went and took video of Boreas in the winter to use in their rooms. Very cool. Overall I'd highly recommend it. We're excited to come back again once they've opened up their new space. From what Reba was telling us the new room should be pretty cool! read more

The Sasquatch adventure was so fun, and this was the best production value we've ever seen in an escape room!! When we discovered the Copper Mt Alpine Coaster closed for the season, we improvised and went to the Mountain Time Escape Room. We had done the Search for Sasquatch which was fun, and have done about 9 other escape rooms around the country. This time myself and 2 daughters did the Paranormal Ghost escape, where you must "capture" six local ghosts. Although we needed a few hints to get us on track, just the 3 of us completed it with a couple minutes to spare. If you love doing a variety of escape rooms, you'll like this one. My husband and I did this and had an absolute blast! We had never done an escape room before and Larissa did a fantastic job explaining and giving enough hints to keep us moving through the puzzles, but not so many that we didn't feel challenged. We really had no idea what to expect- but are now hooked and can't wait to try more! For others who haven't done an escape room before- it isn't scary (as we thought it would be)! It's all different types of puzzles to get enough information to get rescued before the avalanche hits (60 minutes). This is suitable and would be fun for all ages- I think our 7 year old would have even enjoyed being a part of it (although we probably had more fun with just the two of us). We were in Breck for our bi-annual extended family vacation. We needed to find an activity for me, my MIL and the kids while the guys played golf. There were six of us ranging in age from 9-69 and this was the first escape room adventure for all of us. We had so much fun!
