From the very first visit, they impressed me with how friendly, open, and patient they were. They took the time to listen carefully and answer every single question -- even the ones I felt a little silly asking as a "lost" parent just trying to do what's right for my child. What stood out most was how they explained all the possible options and outcomes before every procedure. There was never any pressure, just honesty and clarity. Even after our orthodontic results came in, Dr. Saunders sat down with us to come up with a personalized game plan that worked best for our family, not just for the office. It's rare to find a dental office that combines professionalism with genuine care and kindness, but Saunders Family Dentistry absolutely does. Thank you for being so patient with us -- we're lucky to have found you!

The thing I most enjoyed about my visit with Doctor Ryan is how he wasn't pushy for me to get all this work done. He told me what my issues were and what would need to be done to fix it. He then worked hard to get it all done in one visit so I wouldn't have to reschedule for a return visit to finish the job, which with my work schedule would have been a hassle. I'm a believer in the fact that Dentist visits are important but should be quick, easy, and infrequent (obviously every six months but with no hassle in between). With last list of criteria I give Saunders Family Dental Five Stars. Looking for a good Dentist give them a call.

I'm sorry for the long review, but my story took place over several months so there is a lot that…read morehappened- I was referred to OMS by my general dentist for an infected root that needed to be extracted and replaced with an implant. I had a consultation with Dr Hall and decided to proceed. He said I would have to pay $4500.00 prior to my first (of 3) surgeries. The total amount I was "quoted" was several thousands of dollars more, but he said they would cap it at $4500.00 (and write off the rest?). I paid the required payment before my first surgery (Extraction/bone graft). After extraction, I had more pain in my mouth so a second cone beam was taken and Dr Hall found that a part of my root was missed and I would need an additional surgery to have it removed. I understand that I have complicated roots and that mistakes can happen, so we proceeded with the second surgery. (My husband had to take an extra day off of work to drive me home from the surgery costing us even more money) The surgery was successful, and my bone graft took beautifully. After I was all healed up, I went in to schedule my surgery to place the implant, but I addressed some concerns with the typical titanium implant, because between the 1st surgery in August and the 3rd surgery in March, I was diagnosed with a syndrome that can be activated by metal in my mouth (MCAS-which causes my airway to close and full body hives) and we (Dr Hall and I) decided that we should avoid titanium (or any metal) in my mouth. He said that Zirconia implants would be a better option for me and that he would call his two preferred implant companies (Nobel and Straumann) to make sure he could get a metal free implant. A few days later, he called me and said that he couldn't get me the needed implant, because of the war in Ukraine, where the zirconium (the product that makes zirconia) is mined. He then told me that he ordered a titanium allergy test kit that I could take to an allergist to test if I'm really allergic to titanium. I explained that my issue with titanium isn't an allergy, but a Cell reaction and that I wasn't willing to pay an allergist several hundred dollars to tell me I'm not allergic, when I already know it wont work for me. A few days later I spoke to my friend (that referred me to OMS) who works at a dental office and she said there were probably other options we could explore that were metal free that could work for me. She called her reps, to do some research for me and found some options. I called Dr Hall and he was instantly offended that I would ask someone else's advice on what to do (even though he refused to help me further). I asked him to call my friend and maybe the two of them could figure out how to help me get what I need. He was rude to my friend, and basically said to me if she can get what you need, just go back to her. I told him that I chose to go to his office because I needed a specialist, and would love to figure this out together, but if he wasn't willing to help me anymore, I guess I didn't really have a choice. I asked if I could get some of my money back to help me pay for the implant I needed, and he said he would have his financial lady call me. She called me a few minutes later and said I could only get a refund of $1500.00 of the $4500.00 back. She said $3000.00 is what I would have paid for a tooth extraction and bone graft, and there was nothing else they can do for me. It took 3 weeks to get my "partial refund." I called around to several oral surgery offices in northern Utah asking what an extraction with a bone graft would cost and the highest I found was $1600.00. I feel like Dr Hall took advantage of me because he wasn't willing to think outside of the box, and that I'm owed an additional $1500 dollars. The craziest part of this story, is that the brand of implant that his office carries (Nobel) really does have a metal free implant available, he just wasn't willing to do a little more research to make it happen for me.

I had to take my 17 year old foster daughter here to get her wisdom teeth removed. The environment…read moresmelled pleasant, had a modern "all business" vibe. On our first (and only in office visit other than the surgery), we waited 30 minutes in the lobby with no updates or explanations from the staff, they had great snacks though. The exam itself was thorough and the staff were very professional. The facility, furniture, and equipment was modern and very clean. After the evaluation was complete, we were set up to get the wisdom teeth removal done. We were also offered an additional option for expediting the healing process (I forget what it's called), but essentially they take blood out of the IV, extrapolate some specific material out of the blood, and pump that into the wounds. This was an extra $99, but it's not needed, so we opted not to do that (she still healed quickly with no issues). Now, to the reason why this is only 3 stars; what they call "therapeutic drugs", this we HAD to pay for because apparently insurance doesn't cover it which I've NEVER heard of for wisdom teeth removal and both my husband and I have had done. These "theraputic drugs" are the REQUIRED DRUGS FOR THE SURGERY: mostly pain relief medication, saline solution, and some other standard medication for sedation....and the way they code it, EVERY PATIENT PAYS OUT OF POCKET FOR THESE STANDARD DRUGS. I couldn't believe it. I will NEVER come back here. If they are upselling me on REQUIRED drugs for sedation, they're clearly not in it for the right reasons. They called us a week later to make sure my daughter was good and we never heard from them again. Good, I won't be back, ever.

I was lied to about insurance they take (I was told they took my insurance then told last minute they didn't). I don't like the dentist; however, I went anyways and I was scammed. Their payment system for those who don't have insurance isn't worth it. It doesn't cover anything and they force you to have it for a whole year. If you want to go to this place for dental work go for it BUT be prepared to be lied to and told something else the next.

I saw Jonathan Greenhalgh and he was very pleasant, friendly, and down-to-earth. He told me all of my options and let me decide how to proceed rather than trying to force unwanted services on me. Unfortunately, I do need to go in for additional work, but with the way it was explained to me, I feel much better about having the procedure done. All the staff I encountered were very friendly, made sure I was comfortable, and made sure I didn't need anything. The building is undergoing some exterior renovations right now, but it's still very nice on the inside. I would definitely recommend this facility.
