They have a whole walk-in, refrigerated beer cave! I've stopped be here a few times for the deli. They offer good sandwiches at a reasonable price. This time, my friend and I tried the cheesesteak and the pastrami. Both were good and came with a side salad. Staff were very friendly and there are some nice tables outside with a good view. Wow! The past two years I've had business in PMC once or twice a week and *finally* stopped here and I'm so glad I did. It's expansive, clean, well stocked and has, oddly, an interestingly deep selection of whiskies. The staff was attentive and friendly and my lunch was fabulous. A hand-crafted, well made turkey club with a small side of potato salad, hot pepper and a pickle. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu and forego corporate fast food for my drive home. Good wine and booze selection in this little shop that's the last stop to shop before you hit the mountain campgrounds. There's a decent assortment of groceries and such, and the prices aren't bad at all considering the location. I stopped in here while just passing by to buy a sandwich for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised with how everything all worked out. The deli inside makes numerous different kinds of sandwiches. They also sell various other hot food items. There are just a few tables out in front of the market where you can dine, or you can just eat in your car. I ordered the "chicken burger", which was actually a grilled chicken patty on a bun with lettuce, tomato, pickle and thousand island dressing. The sandwich was in fact quite excellent. I ordered a combo, which goes for $10.49. It came with a very large helping of french fries and a soft drink. Excellent value for money and the food here is really great! read more

I live in town and I called and ordered a TURKEY CLUB sandwich. They didn't toast the bread and only used 2 slices instead of 3. It's usually white bread or sourdough. They used wheat. It's mainly that they didn't toast the bread. This should not be called a Club sandwich if this is how they make it. Sure theirs has bacon, but otherwise this is a plan cold turkey sandwich with bacon. If you go to any restaurant anywhere, they know how to make a turkey club sandwich, but not here. Be sure to spell out exactly how you want your club sandwich, otherwise you will get some random sandwhich that is NOT a club sandwich. I hope to make my rating a five star in the future and this is why! I ordered biscuits and gravy/potatoes and eggs this morning, 9/09/23. The cook asked me if I wanted sausage and I said no, however, When I got home and began to remove my order from the bag to inspect my order I noticed that she gave me chopped bacon which I did not ask for. I wanted no meat! Also, she gave me so much gravy that it spilled out of the styrofoam container and left a LAKE of gravy in the bottom of the brown bag, i,e, way to much gravy. I've been here a number of times and always liked the sausage, egg and cheese burrito. Quite a bit better than the OK McDonald's fare. Saturday AM I ordered the vegetarian burrito. While waiting about 7-8 minutes for it to be prepared, I served myself a medium large cup of coffee. The tall gentleman at the register said burrito was ready, so I picked it up. I was astonished how much it weighed.. like 3 or 4 McDonald's breakfast sandwiches, I'd say near 1 pound. And it was delicious! Moreover, I was surprised how good the coffee was, though I'd prefer fresh 1/2 and 1/2 to the little single serve cups, but still a great deal. I made two meals out of the Megawich. Re no masks, I LOVE it. Anyone informed knows COVID-19 is an overrated hoax and masks are a joke. I got the Hong Kong flu in 1968, which was much worse.. and no panic, lockdown or mask garbage. C-19 is simply a tool to manipulate and control people. Well, if you don't agree with all that... just believe the food here is great. read more

The market is small and cramped, but certainly well stocked. The Deli cranks out food that may be more expensive than Subway, but it's far more ample as well, and you really do get a good deal over all. I think my wrap must have weighed about 3 lbs! We were looking for a good place to get picnic fare in the area and think we found it. Only drawback, is both store and deli have same checkout so a line can evolve and they aren't fast. read more

I stopped in here just for a snack on my way up to the McGill Campground in the Los Padres National Forest. I'm so sorry that didn't take pictures of my food from their grill line because it was incredible. Onion rings the size of my hands for about $2 and my buddy ordered chicken fingers that came with so many French fries for about $5. The best part of this store is the greasy spoon grill inside the market, but don't be surprised if you grab some beer or other alcoholic treat from their amazing selection. This place really has everything you need food & drink wise before you head up the mountain. No wonder all the locals were in & out while we were there. Next time I go camping up there, I'm just bringing my tent & cooler & buying all my vittels here. I'd even skip buying food for the campsite all together & take my meals from the griddle inside. First impression is of course parking. Which was ample. For a small community market the selection is okay. A tad pricey. But that's to be expected for being shall we say off the beaten path. The meat department had great steak and on this day cheaper. Customer service was good. Friendly, and helpful. I think they need to update interior . Over all I would shop there again. read more

Tasty food from the grill, and great prices in the market (Especially since it's located in the mountains where most other stores raise the prices...They try to keep prices down to what they are in the flatlands/valleys. Always nice to see Ray and the rest of the employees... He will help you with special orders if you need something, and while he can't always get them, he does his best. Most everything I've ever asked for he was able to find, bring up, and sell at reasonable prices, not gouged like so many other stores do. If you come up for a visit to the mountains and need some food supplies or other items, I recommend you stop here. Try their classic burger and fries when you do. read more

The tri-tip BBQ wrap was amazing! the meat was tender, with a little crispiness to it- cooked perfectly. the veggies were fresh and crisp, and the bbq sauce perfectly tangy. i added jalapenos to mine- which made it just that much better. i spoke to the cook afterwards to compliment her, and she was saying her husband wanted to add pickles and bacon- i told her not to- the most perfect wrap ever! you have got to try it!!! my friend had the pastrami which looked amazing too- and he loved it read more
