Wonderful neighborhood market - very high quality produce and other products. I appreciate their hardworking staff.

I don't live in the area and was only out there hiking and before we got on the freeway, we wanted to stop and get a drink, but we weren't prepared for the "Tiny Town Target" market that we walked into and it left a major impression upon us. Their drinks were right there by the front door as soon as we walked in, but we couldn't believe the size of the place or the massive amount of options across the board for all the items they sold. The market was impeccably clean and it literally had just about everything you could want, and the thing that struck us the most was how many various options of popcorn they carried (because it was in the aisle where we were standing in line) and they even had black kernel popcorn that we didn't even know existed. I live down in the valley and absolutely would love to have this market in my area! We clearly had hit rush-hour for "Tiny Town Target" as it seemed the entire town was in the there, but the staff was superiority efficient and pleasant. read more

It's really expensive and the quality of the produce isn't great. It's the only option unfortunately, up here if you don't have time to drive to the city. Which I do try to do most of the time now. Not great choices for a low sugar healthy diet. Not much organic foods. read more

I would give them a 5 star, but their prices are too high on many common items. You have to go in the middle of the store and you will find marked down items, the area between the isles. I live here and I buy many items that are not bad in price in the produce section. I am happy that they carry a lot of Kirkland brand items, that was nice to see. I wish this store and Dollar General Store would merge that would be so great, just a dream though. The whole store is very clean and has a nice layout. Some of the prices are outrageous- I know we live rurally, but that doesn't make any sense for items DG can sell at 1/2 the price. It feels unfair, even unethical sometimes considering a lot of the elderly people who live on the Mountain are on a fixed income and it shouldn't break the bank to buy simple necessities, the locals will complain until the cows come home...BUT- I get it. That's what happens when you run a business and it's a small town with limited options. HOWEVER- (big however) that being said, Ray and his team have done an incredible amount of improvements with that revenue and that is very obvious from the outside to the inside. From the new and improved fridge isle to the meat counter. My family is always stoked on the great quality we find in that department specifically. Abby, as always is a light in all our lives. It is a shame that certain individuals go into a good business and start trouble, then trash the business on yelp. The owner and employees do an amazing job stocking and displaying items. For a small town market the selection is amazing. I am glad we have this market here especially with the gas prices as high as they are now. What a great owner. We were visiting Pyramid Lake and needed supplies early in the morning. We got there at 715 am not knowing they opened at 8 am. The owner let me in and offered me a cart. I quickly purchased what I needed and then had a nice conversation with him. He was so pleasant and helpful. You should definitely support this store, they have great options including a meat counter. Frazier Park is lucky to have such a store. His generosity of spirit made my day. read more

I used to come here and spend every month, it does smell like rotten meat and it's super high priced, like triple! We had an issue with one of their cashiers who discriminates against minorities and those who are on assistance, she apologized but still I Won't be going there again! read more

It's convenient and I can accept that it's presence is an asset to the community. However it is extremely expensive and makes me want to buy food elsewhere Roma tomatoes 6.99 a pound wow Banana like 2 dollars a pound Dozen eggs 7 dollars Bunch of cilantro 2 dollars So many examples....it's sad because many members of the community are seniors and on limited incomes I'm sure. read more

So extremely disappointed with how down hill this business has gone. Their produce was rotting on the shelves. Looked like it hasn't been gone through in about a week. Moldy, and just gross. Despite the condition of the produce, the prices are outrageous! $2 for a head of romaine that has literally been plucked almost down to the heart. Paid $4 for the only lettuce that was in good condition and that's because it was "living". I tried to ask about their potato salad from the deli, because I'm feeding someone who is lactose intolerant, and the woman couldn't even tell me the ingredients in their product.... she couldn't even understand me. I love our little market on the mountain! I always feel welcomed and appreciated. The shelves are always full and being re-stocked, and the produce section full of fresh fruits and veggies. Amazing how much they can pack into this store! The meat counter is such a bonus! Our go to is their sushi grade tuna! The store is clean, well kept and maintained. read more

Love the convenience and the selection. The prices are up there, but they don't have the buying power of the DG. That being said, this is a great store and perfect for our little community. The meat shop has an excellent variety for the size, and the in house sausages are quite nice. Only problem I seem to have here is with the half and half and the milk. It's a toss up if it's fresh or not. DG has milk and even half and half sometimes if you go on the right day and don't mind tripping in the aisles. read more

I live part time in Lake Hughes. Shopping is either Lancaster or Frazier Park. This market rocks!! Excellent meat department just like a neighborhood butcher shop. Very nice wine selection. They have everything for everyday grocery shopping and more. Best of all excellent attentive and friendly staff working hard!! My money supports the locals and these guys deserve it!! This is 'The' market/grocery in Frazier Park. It's been here for decades. Everything you need is here. Like a small Von's for example. Fair prices, easy in and out, plenty of parking. I think ownership/ management changed recently, but the store is basically the same. read more

Where to even start off. There's this thing called a pandemic yet the market let's their staff where a clear open shield over there mouth and nose that literally doesn't do sh*t let alone this person is handling the meat. And on top of that you hardly see them change their gloves after cleaning up stuff behind the counter it's honestly disgusting I believe in supporting small businesses but not when they don't give a crap about hygiene or the safety of the community during this time. Plus I have been super hesitant to even go into the market because every time I do there's multiple people with out masks or with their masks down they should be enforcing and telling customers that a mask is required and to wear the mask properly!!! Ray needs to step up and make his employees wear masks properly and not just a stupid clear shield. read more

Ugh I mean they let the meat in the store sit for a week, possibly more. I bought a top sirloin steeak, it looked old and it was tough and dry. Disappointed in their meat department. Also their prices broke my wallet. read more

Been going to this market for a few years now. Really top notch. The employees are fantastic, the meat section is extremely good, the prices aren't bad for being way up on the mountain, and I'm able to find most of what I need as a serious cook. Places like Frazier Park Market really make life in a small town much easier than it could be. Oh, and their prepared food items are really good, especially the fried chicken. read more

I'm gonna say that ray has done a wonderful job of cleaning up the store and during this Corona virus hes done a great job of managing it. If you don't like his prices you need to go somewhere else if you don't like his selection you need to go somewhere else but if you want to support a really nice guy that has worked hard and built his self up on our mountain and and become the american dream than you Shop here at ray's store. If you want to know why 4 stars nand not 5. The prices are high. Put it all together and 4 out of 5 stars. I didn't mention the meat department. Right out of 1972 and so dam good. I really like our market! There have been many improvements since the new owners took over. New, better products on the shelves.

This is the closest market to my home. I had high hopes for them but despite spending a lot of money on their new meat department they have failed to address the service issues there. I literally dread going there to buy meat. The workers usually just ignore me at the counter while they focus on their personal conversations and cutting meat. It's evident that selling their product is not high on their agenda. read more

For forty years this decent market with an always excellent meat department new ownership recently remodeled to include an improved and enlarged selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, beer and wine, and a deli with fresh pizza, sandwiches, and roast chicken. Very Nice! read more

This is a great store. It's very clean, there's lots of variety and everything is very fresh. We had a great conversation with a woman who owns/works? there not sure of her position but she was so nice and she clearly took pride in the store and beautiful Frazier Park. I'm so mad at myself for not asking her name so I could thank her again here. We had a few questions about the town and she was so nice she took the time to chat with us and was super helpful. We'll be returning very soon. You'll find lots of pre-chilled drinks (an entire wall as you enter) and lots of national brands. They have a butcher and plenty of thick steaks ready for the grill if that's what you're into. You'll also find lots of fresh veggies, all the staples you'll need to enjoy your visit plus some fun looking treats for those who want a little more adventure on their trip. This may not sound like a big deal, but this is the nicest small market for probably 50 miles in either direction at the top of the grapevine (I-5). But the biggest deal is the meat market inside the store, not just the small de facto type you see inside of a large chain grocery store, but a real meat market with true butchers who know their wares. After looking at the choices, lots of them, we decided on the fresh, wild caught, sushi grade ahi tuna at an amazing $10.99 per pound. We have never had a nicer piece of fish. Fresh, fresh, fresh! This small market has almost anything you need for preparing a meal. And, the staff is very friendly. We usually shop before going to a cabin in Pine Mountain Club, about 15 miles away, but now that we have found Frazier Park Market I won't feel at all pressed to be sure we have everything we need for the weekend. As a bonus we can go to the Red Dot Vegetarian restaurant before we go shopping at the market. Check out the reviews for it. Who knew Frazier Park would have these great finds? read more
