Dropped by real quick since it was in the area where we were grabbing lunch and we had to pic up a few things. Didn't need much so it was really a quick in and out but seemed like a less busy location which was nice. Parking lot is huge and not crowded at all. It seemed a little smaller than other locations we've been to but had what we came for. It was nice to see a Pokémon Center Vending Machine since we typically only see them at Vons but unfortunately it was on maintenance when we were there. Will definitely come back! I've been coming here on and off for years. The employees are nice and the store is clean. My grievance is about the constant misrepresentation of the prices. I don't know how other Ralph stores work, but what you see isn't always what you get here. There is fine print on the exact same-looking sticker prices on many items that require a digital coupon. The font was so small I had to take a picture and zoom in. I believe this is a tactic to intentionally deceive customers into paying higher prices. There are better options for prices and quality if you're willing to drive a little further. read more

I purchased yasso that was spoiled, I then called yasso and they sent me two coupons for yasso products. As I went to use them I went into Vicki's line. She greeted the last customer whose skin color matched hers, as I approached her, I got no greeting. She immediately looked at my coupon and dismissed it saying it wouldn't work, I ask her, may you please scan it and try it before you just tell me no, she says no it won't work, I ask again, please, just scan it. She then turns her back and walks to her coworker and managers bad mouthing me about me wanting her to scan it. Steven then says that the coupons look sketchy, as if he's never seen them before. I ask, are you accusing me of fraud? I tell him scan it if he's so sure. As I'm standing there Vicki tells me EXCUSE ME very aggressively and passive. She scans it, I ask her, does it work? It does. No apology, nothing. She then says there's a promotion buy one get one free and asks the girl Bryana if she should honor it since I'm already getting a box for free. I explained, that I paid for the box initially and that the item was defective, that's why I got this "free box" so it technically was not "free" Bryanna then calls Steven over and Steven tells me it's one coupon per transaction That means per day, I ask him, where does it say that? He said, I SAID THAT. I asked him if he can explain or at least show me in the ralphs employee book where it says that he just dismissed me. If you're a person of color just avoid this ralphs entirely. The worst Ralph's ever!!! I generally do pick up because it s easy when I am on my way home from work but most of the employees dealing with the pick up are extremely rude and totally unprofessional : a lot of times the prices are wrong or they don't respect the sales and when I tell them they say they cannot fix the price and to call corporate if I have a complaint They are also used to give product marked as clearance at full price Recently I ordered pizza dough which was about 4 dollars but they gave me one that was on clearance for 1 $ but they made me pay 4$ When I told them they said they couldn't change the price so to call corporate! This store is close to home which makes it convenient to get a few items that I need. I usually try to only get sale items if I can help it- because there are better deals to be had around town I also get a gift card as a gift sometimes so I am in there to spend that as well. Last couple times I have had trouble with their digital coupons not coming off when I use my alternate id. I was given some story about how you need to have the cashier scan the barcode in the app instead - why? They are tied together. I have to really stay on top of this be side several times my couple didn't come off This latest trip I was informed you can't use coupons if the item is on sale. You always used to be able to - any sales or Ralph's digital couple should count as store coupons and my manufacturer coupons are separate . I had purchase several items because of my coupons and I even asked the cashier to make sure my free laundry detergent coupon came off and he said it did - but upon checking my receipt it hadn't. I had to wait until someone was free to assist me which took a few minutes because this location is always understaffed They had to ring up the detergent by itself, I had to pay tax on the full price - because the items was part of a buy 5 and save They then refunded me the 6.99 which was the sale price it rang up as on my original order. But never refunded me the tax I originally paid. I tried explaining this was not correct but it fell on deaf ears . I will return to spend the rest of my gift card but that will be about it. It's just too big of a hassle if you have coupons- which in todays economy I definitely need given the prices at this store read more

The low rating is for the monitors in the Self-Check who literally breathe down my neck, no personal space or manners, I'll drive out of my way to other Ralphs tho this is closest so sometimes I give it another shot, it's never better. As people say, the best part is ample parking since many storefronts are vacant since the Covid pandemic kept people from shopping in person, many never re-opened. The store itself isn't huge but it's clean and many of the staff in areas like meat, deli, produce are helpful and seem busy restocking, chopping and prepping and offer to help if you go during certain hours, early mornings and nighttime they're low-staffed. BAD thing is that although there's a self-check they try to herd you into the checkout lines, if I wanted to be there I'd have gone there to start, and there's an older man in particular (thin) who's always there, must have high union seniority, and is bossy and suspicious from the start. The last time I firmly refused to move and asked him to step back so he got the manager over so they could both stare me down, "she doesn't want to go to the check lines" he complained. When I'm in the lines, herded along like cattle where all that matters to them is speed, wrong charges occur virtually every time, then they're a huge PITA to correct, read Lisa M's story of how it took forever to get one item that was supposed to be free credited, but then tax issues, was the discount valid on a sale item, did she correctly buy "5 items for the buy 5 and save" discount (or every other item is full price) OR was it part of the "upto 5 items" in the Weekly Digital Savings or the "5x savings" (that work the same so it's unnecessary additional confusion, except the 5X stuff expires later). Meanwhile if you're "holding up the line" as if it's your fault, you get impatient stares and noises. The clerks don't know the word "discretion," if it's a personal item or Snap purchase they'll yell that out too, maybe you finally have to get moved to the front desk to sort it out. (This lack of tact and yelling everything is typical in SCV.) Many of us experience this nightmare so would rather eat the over-charge, and insist on self-check where you can review everything after putting in your Loyalty number before hitting Final Pay. If there are errors you can correct, that's when you might need the creepy staring guy who treats you like a criminal. (Kroger is a particular offender in these confusions - plus not removing tags from shelves when a sale is over - costing overcharges upto 17% of the time according to a recently published studym, I'd say that's conservative.) Hey corporate: I HATE HATE HATE being treated like a criminal by some rude clerk and his manager who don't have the basic manners to know when to stand back and when to come "help." read more

My wife and I stopped by this Ralph when we were waiting to be seated at a restrauant in the same plaza. This Ralph is nicely decorated inside I like their deli and bakery area. Their meat and seafood area is not as big as other Ralph's store but it works for them. I was interested in seeing what soda they have here because every store carries different flavor. I was able to find the cherry coke which the Ralph's store near my house is always sold out or they don't have it. This store also have some nice flowers selection in the front when you walk in so you can see them first. I also like that this store has a lot of self checkout because it speed the process. The parking here is amazing because it's in a big lot and with a lot of other stores closed down, it's a very quiet plaza. Hours are late at this location. 1:00 am. They say. A woman needed diapers and me who only needed 2 items pulled up at 12:45 am. This is what we where greeted with. (See photos). I am writing this article 12:54 am. I have not had this happen at other Ralph's locations, in fact I have had generally positive experiences. 1) If you are not going to be open until 1:00 am, do not advertise that you ARE open at 1:00 am. 2) If there are situations where you will not be open until 1:00 am, set expectations, let the customer know . 3) If this location is an exception to the open until 1:00 am, let the search providera you advertise with know your correct hours. I recently went into the store to do my weekly grocery shopping as this has been my regular store I purchase from. When I had finished shopping and went to the Self Check out Registers. I was trying to scan the apples I wanted to purchase. I had tried to scan the tag that was on the apples and I also tried to look them up in the search category. When I found them, I could not tell by the pictures which ones I was purchasing. So I asked the Employee who was assigned that area at the time for help in identifying which ones they were. When I asked her for assistance, her response was "Oh my God, don't you know which apples you are buying?" She did help find the right ones but that response was definitely inappropriate and very bad customer service. As a Senior Citizen, it is not always easy to see the products clearly and I wanted to be sure I was getting the right item. This store is not Senior Friendly and has responded in this manner to me before. Often time, the Employees are seen standing around talking to other employees rather than paying attention to the Customer's needs. read more

Also... they do not open enough check lanes and force you to do self checkout if all lanes are closed. What are they getting paid to stand there for then? First time shopping at this RALPHS, Great location and plenty of parking. The store is a bit smaller than what I am use to. It has a great selection of food choices! I needed some help in the meat department and spoke to Garrett! He was extremely professional, friendly and easy to talk too! I needed help to find an item in the store and Garrett reached out to a fellow employee... Courtesy clerk Al! The way these to went out if their way to help me was awesome! Customer service at its finest! Making sure that we the customers are being taken care of! Thank you both, your kind customer service skill set should be recognized! By the way Al truly goes out of his way too for all customers; I observed him helping another gentleman by walking him directly to the aisle and point out exactly where the item is on the shelf. When I came here, I received some of the best service I ever got from Jonathan in the meat department. He was even helping me in other departments, and getting accurate prices and seeing if more drinks were in stock for me. He was very thorough, took his time, and truly uplifted my morale with his great and genuine service. The inventory in fruits and vegetables is scarce. They didn't even have squash today. The freezer section is sold out of a lot of vegetables. Other sections in stores looked diminished in inventory. i'll be driving 5 mins more to Vons or ralph's on mc bean for better food selection. read more

I really like this location. There is ample parking. When you walk in, its well lit and very inviting. The produce looks fresh. I've frequently purchased from their bakery department and have always been pleased with the freshness and quality. I appreciate that they carry products like Nut Pod creamers that other groceries do not carry. The clerks are always friendly and very helpful. The only thing that can be a bit frustrating are all the solicitors at this location. You either have people asking for donations to a charity or the Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts pushing their products. I don't understand the Scouts, they sell cookies, popcorn and nuts at a place that already sells cookies, popcorn and nuts. I don't know why they don't try selling at other types of stores. The Boy Scouts were trying to sell a bag of caramel corn popcorn for $20/bag. C'mon, who will pay that? I know it's for a good cause, but that's just inflation. My wife and I have been shopping at the local Ralph's for many years including through the pandemic; however, today as we stopped in the store to pick up a few items at very high prices, we were told by a rude cashier that Ralph's employees of longer bagged groceries. I get that it is tough to find quality people to work in retail, but some of these folks should not be in front of customers. The meat counter staff are still top notch but the rest of the staff is hit and miss. Mainly the rudeness from some of the workers. Particularly Terry at the self check out. Attention Linda and Drew. We have been residents of Santa Clarita for many years now, but we live closer to the Ralphs in Granary Square. As we were heading back from Los Angeles yesterday, 4/15/2021 - we decided to go to the Stevenson Ranch Ralphs location before heading home. As we walked in we noted that the store was in great order and also the COVID19 guidelines were in place. I noted that the store was clean and much larger than the location we go to most often. There was an item that was not on the shelf, so I waived down Drew and asked him if there was any more of this product. He treated me as if I was his only customer and told me he would check. While he was gone, we had changed positions in the store, as we were continuing to shop. About 10 minutes later, as we had made it to the other side of the store, Drew found us. He had been searching isle by isle. His conscientious demeanor was incredible. He was also attentive and explained that they were out now, however - there were other options as he gave me those. Drew should be commended on his ability to get the job done as well as his ability to bag groceries the right way, as I was taught when I was his age. At checkout we were Blessed to have met Linda. She was a breath of fresh air, she was friendly and made us feel as we have been coming to this Ralphs location as often as we visit the Granary location. She also commented on how we were holding hands - that of course made the both of us gush over with happiness that someone would take the time to notice, let alone comment. Linda and Drew are both Blessings to the Ralphs in Stevenson Ranch. I hope they get commended because we are now going to make this store our primary shopping location. read more

I had a wonderful experience with the Ralph's bakery this week. They helped us make a gender reveal cake for our pregnancy. Through customer service I was connected to Patrice in the bakery. She walked me through what to put on the online order form and was in the bakery to take the envelope containing our surprise information. We got the cake today and it was perfect.
