Delicious breadsticks from Mountain View!
Alden C.

Excellent pizza that you can get in Morton! Mountain View Wood Fired Pizza is located in a food truck in the front parking lot next to Timberpatch Brewing. You can order a pizza and take it to go if you don't want to enjoy craft beer with it but if you do you can sit at the brewery's patio or inside the brewery which is very nice. Pizza is well made and fresh and totally lives up to the wood fired idea. I like supreme style pizzas with various toppings like peppers, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, olives and sausage and I got the equivalent of that here and it was delicious! The pizza size is manageable for one but I still took some home for leftovers and thay was good to have as well. Steve got a Garlic Chicken pizza which was very good as well. We also got breadsticks and they were marvelous for our appetizer. I don't think you can wrong with anything you order from here really. I believe there is another food truck location in Packwood as well and if I heard correctly from another patron is located next to one of the breweries there typically.

This food truck is awesome! Tried it for the first time and was very impressed with the quality of the ingredients. We ordered it over the phone and it was ready after a quick stop at the pharmacy across the street. Pizzas were delicious, daughter had a bbq chicken pizza with mushrooms and I had a meat lovers with mushrooms and artichoke hearts. Would definitely go back again!

Ok so I really really wanted to give it a 4 but can't get over the premade dough. I really feel I if they start making their own dough it would be a 4-5 star pizza easy. Toppings and sauce were good. Location and customer service is 5stars! It's a great option to grab a couple pizzas and bring them into the park for lunch or dinner later on in your day.

Pizza and cheese bread was awesome. Wood fired flavor was great. Service good and the outside side seating was a plus.

These folks make killer good pizza, the crust is perfect!

Tasty pizza with thin crust and was glad to find Vegetarian options! There might be a wait time depending on the business.

Proper Patty ($11) - This burger comes with two smash patties, both of which are heavily salted and somewhat crisped up - the pictures from other people make it seem like they cook long enough to get lacy caramelized edges, but it's not quite to that point. Instead, the burgers, while not moist and fatty, aren't dried out either, and give a great beefy flavor. The burger sauce adds some tangy sweetness, and some pickles on top adds even more sweetness, but a very fresh crunch. It's otherwise pretty standard with the lettuce and tomato. A solid smashburger. (4/5) Fries ($5) - These are fried enough to give a crust on the potatoes, but not enough for the fries to be come crisp. Still, they aren't floppy, so while not entirely crisp, these are still good for eating especially since the insides are nice and fluffy. They are salted a lot, which combined with the salty dip (we went with the Bud's Sauce), equals a parched mouth after eating. I think they actually use a lime salt or something as I can detect a bit of citrus flavor. The Bud's Sauce is a nice mayochup mixture with I think a bit of smokiness from paprika and some chopped onion. It's sweet, tangy, and salty. (4/5) Overall Burger Buds serves some nice classic smashburgers! It's great for a visit while in town for a quick and easy meal.

I wish I took pictures, I live in Vancouver and met my bestie that lives in Puyallup, to catch up…read moreso I wasn't thinking of food pictures. The restaurant is decorated like you're in someone's home in Mexico, it was so cute! It was very busy when we came in They don't have chips and salsa fyi - this joint is incredibly authentic Not a HUGE menu, but decent amount of choices which right away tells me they do what they do well if the menu isn't 8 pages haha We got quick service, there was one woman seating people, taking orders, and closing checks, and she did it well! My friend and I ordered soup (specifically carne en su jugo), which is my FAVORITE SOUP EVER, and I can't ever find it anywhere, and boy oh boy I will drive the 1.5 hours to get it again and again, it was perfect. They provide maximum of 2 ramekins of pickled carrots (cost if you want more, which were amazing) and 1 ramekin of green salsa (charge if you want more - and it's spicy but so good!) 3 crispy chicken tacos 1 mole with refried beans taquito (not rolled) 1 adobado pork sopa 1 adobado pork taco 2 chorizo tacos 1 hibiscus aqua fresca The restaurant doesn't have any music on, which I always appreciate background noise in general, but my friend and I were talking so much and the place was busy I didn't notice too much We planned on meeting monthly in Centralia and will continue to go here to eat, check it out!!!

Service if wonderful and the hosts are very accommodating and pay a lot of attention to make sure you're enjoying your meal. The tamales are great - they're heavier on the outer soft shell than the meat but very tasty - save some of the salsa you get when you are seated to go with this. But the standout for me are the ala carte tacos - the chorizo and the adovado meats are well portioned, superbly cooked, and seasoned to be juicy and flavorful. I'll be back to try a bunch of other menu items on my next road trip!
