They do not accept electronic payments and to avoid their late fees, I had my bank send them a check about 2 weeks before the due date each month. I forgot to stop my final payment for the month we were planning to move out - my bad. On our move out day, I went to the office to discuss our move out and to request a refund of the upcoming month that we would not be using. I was told that there were no rent refunds. I later discovered from my bank that they cashed my check AFTER that conversation and that they had already re-rented my units. We are Air Force retirees and long time Monument residents. You have other choices for storage rental in Monument. Stay away from Monument Storage.

Corky was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted to help us get everything taken care of. He made the whole process quick, easy, and completely stress-free. What really stood out was his attitude. He was patient, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We even shared some laughs while getting everything sorted out, which made an otherwise frustrating situation very enjoyable. Corky also looked so badass with the lock grinder too. It's rare to meet someone who is both highly professional and genuinely personable. Customer service like this is becoming harder to find, and Corky is a perfect example of how much one great employee can elevate an entire business. My father does a storage unit at a different location and has been having some complaints, but here, I have had no issues and now my father wants to come to My Storage at Jackson Creek. Because of him, we left feeling confident that we chose the right storage facility and that we're in good hands. The facility itself is well secured with cameras everywhere, super clean with a large open layout, super easy to set up a unit and get going, and is quick and efficient at high quality with handling anything regarding their customers. If management sees this, Corky absolutely deserves to be recognized. I had him prior to this incident when I was setting up the unit itself. Employees who care about their customers the way he does are a huge asset to any company. Thank you again for making our first experience such a positive one!

I rented a 5x5 unit from them but upon even moving in, even stepping foot in this facility, I realized I needed a larger unit. I called to see if I could be changed to a larger unit and was told that I'd have to just pay for BOTH units for the following month and then "move out" of a unit I have NEVER EVEN MOVED IN TO. I decided that I'd go with a different facility completely at this point and asked for my account to be closed to which I was again told I'd have to "move out" in person... MOVE OUT OF A FACILITY IVE NEVER BEEN TO?! About two weeks ago someone reached out to me about my unit saying it was red tagged or something to that nature. I said once again, I've never been to this facility, I've never been in the unit and I asked to stop being contacted and billed for this weeks ago. The man I spoke with asked if they had my "permission" to access to the unit to confirm it's empty. I told him that I don't even know how to access the unit so sure! have at! 3 days later I'm charged for the unit. The first person I spoke to said that they could see id never been there and could see that it was confirmed empty. They disconnected and when I called back I got "Darian"... she said that I won't be charged after this month but they have to "confirm" I've "moved out" so that's why I was charged again. You're joking. Everything is electronic... you know that I've NEVER been there and it doesn't take a week to determine whether I've moved out or not when I have quite literally NEVER moved in. I have disputed this with my bank and the bank is getting kickback. The charge is minimal but it's the principal of this. I'm going to pursue legal action if the charge is not reversed and I've already reported them to the BBB. Charging people for services you aren't providing them is illegal and trying to convince them that you need all this time to confirm x, y & z may work on someone who doesn't understand that all of this is electronic but it doesn't work on me. It's not bad enough y'all have had INSIDE JOB theft? You want to continue the bad reputation by charging people for things they aren't even receiving? I went with another facility and have had nothing but the BEST customer service and EASY payments, move ins, access, etc. save yourself the stress and do not even risk working with a facility that's this scummy.

There is a "manager" on site, but who knows what he does. He doesn't help the customers. My rent more than tripled in the last couple of years. Out of nowhere I got an email that said my storage unit was found unsecured. I just moved to a different (smaller, less expensive) unit a month prior. When I called to try and get some answers, nobody answers and I leave a message. I also sent a reply email. Someone finally called me back a couple of hours later and explained that my unit was likely locked open. They put a lock on my unit and the email said I was being charged for it. I go over to my unit to investigate, and what a runaround! First, I get there and my original lock is nowhere to be found. So I go back to the main office. I then get told that they know nothing about my lock and that I probably had a break in. I go back over to my unit to look at the contents and nothing appears to be disturbed. Meanwhile, I have to use the password key pad for each entry and exit, and the new explanation makes even less sense. I purchase yet another lock from them via virtual assistant. So very frustrating that I can't just talk to a person in person. It's a huge waste of my time. When I asked why they have a manager on site the assistant said they are there to clean the property. Sounds pretty cush to me. I'm not planning on staying there much longer. Don't rent a storage unit here.

Rates were always fair and well worth the quality of service and unit received. Along with top notch customer support, the manager was always helpful, professional and accommodating. The attendant is awesome!! I've only seen one guy at work on site, but he seems to be there all the…read moretime. Impeccable customer service! We were loading some stuff out in a u-haul. There was a lot of ice in front of our unit; before I could even ask he had already got the bucket of ice-melt and was headed over to spread it. On other occasions, he has walked over with bottled waters and offered to our group. I think the units are a little pricey and I recently received notice of a rate hike, but there is a customer bathroom on site which is extremely nice.
