We ran into an unexpected couldn't-be-opened issue with a lock we brought ourselves, and what could have been a stressful situation turned into one of the best premium customer service experiences we've ever had. Corky was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely wanted to help us get everything taken care of. He made the whole process quick, easy, and completely stress-free. What really stood out was his attitude. He was patient, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. We even shared some laughs while getting everything sorted out, which made an otherwise frustrating situation very enjoyable. Corky also looked so badass with the lock grinder too. It's rare to meet someone who is both highly professional and genuinely personable. Customer service like this is becoming harder to find, and Corky is a perfect example of how much one great employee can elevate an entire business. My father does a storage unit at a different location and has been having some complaints, but here, I have had no issues and now my father wants to come to My Storage at Jackson Creek. Because of him, we left feeling confident that we chose the right storage facility and that we're in good hands. The facility itself is well secured with cameras everywhere, super clean with a large open layout, super easy to set up a unit and get going, and is quick and efficient at high quality with handling anything regarding their customers. If management sees this, Corky absolutely deserves to be recognized. I had him prior to this incident when I was setting up the unit itself. Also note that security cameras were conveniently not "active" of our unit being robbed according to our police report. Our unit was broken into. The lock was replaced, the insurance the storage unit provides took 8 months to deny our claim due to no signs of forceable entry because of the lock being replaced. The insurance company is terrible that they provide called REPWEST. We sent emails every week with no response. We had over 50k worth of items stolen, and they are walking away Scott free. Hearbroken. Please do not use this facility.

I had professional movers store my items in this horrible place. When I recently started moving things out, very many boxes and some furniture items were severely damaged and completely ruined due to black mold from water getting into the unit. Boxes were completely soaked through & some even fell apart when moved. The owner actually griped at me saying their lease stated not to store "any heirlooms," etc. in their facility. She tried to use the excuse that the storage unit "is not climate controlled" when water being allowed to pour in and severely damage items has nothing whatsoever to do with that. Rather than apologize or do anything whatsoever to help me recover any loss, the highly unprofessional owner I spoke with started griping me out saying I signed a lease basically stating I'd be perfectly happy to rent a dump that didn't protect any of my belongings in any way, shape, or form! EVERYONE BEWARE: NO RENTER OR HOMEOWNER POLICY COVERS WATER DAMAGE DUE TO THE SEVERE NEGLECT ON BEHALF OF MWSS IN NOT TAKING CARE OF THEIR STORAGE UNITS!! The owners care ZERO whether anything of yours gets trashed from water damage which is THEIR FAULT. They also never answer their phone when you call, and you have to wait days for a return call. If you ever have an emergency, you're out of luck and they don't care in the slightest. I hope everyone who has this same awful experience with these uncaring, greedy, unprofessional, horrid owners of MWSS starts suing them and they lose their business and everything else as they deserve!

John and Sebastian were so helpful. They were very pleasant and had the pickup truck ready earlier…read morethan scheduled. The truck was full of gas, very clean, and they allowed me to leave my car parked in the lot. They also have funny signs in the bathroom for guests and it made me laugh! My issue is, which I did not knock the rating down for because this is not John and Sebastian but really a U-Haul rule, is that you cannot tow with the pickup truck. There is a tow hitch, but a lock on it. I did not notice the lock until I got back to the house with the pickup truck. I called John and he was super nice explaining that you cannot tow with the Uhaul pickup unless it is a uhaul trailer. I do feel this is misleading on the website when you rent the pickup because it states that there are tow hitches on all pickup trucks...so one would assume you could tow with it- responsibly of course! I understand there are weight limits with towing and I would be responsible. This was just super frustrating because when all was said and done it was 130.00 for a rental that I could not use. Again- not upset with John and Sebastian but the Uhaul policy.

I gave notice to this place back in February that I was moving, and would be moving my things out…read moreof storage. I gave plenty of notice of my intention to vacate, and moved out prior to the end of the month. I was charged for the storage unit back in March. I addressed this issue then. Nothing has occurred with being reimbursed. Fast forward to April, I am charged for a storage fee again (Now the total is up to $123.50 owed back to me). I call, they verified that I had moved out, and received an apology and a promise that I would be contacted by the manager, and that they would return my money. Well here we are in May, and I was charged this evening for the storage unit again. That brings the total to $185.25 owed back to me. I called them again and left a heated voicemail demanding that this situation be resolved by Friday. Above is my initial post from earlier this month. I am proud to announce I have an update to my situation. My situation has been resolved, and I received full reimbursement. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Richard Graham (the owner) for personally looking into and addressing this issue. I appreciate him taking care of this matter, and recouping the fees that I was assessed. Overall, I had no issues with storing my belongings there when I was occupying storage. Dewayne

The attendant is awesome!! I've only seen one guy at work on site, but he seems to be there all the…read moretime. Impeccable customer service! We were loading some stuff out in a u-haul. There was a lot of ice in front of our unit; before I could even ask he had already got the bucket of ice-melt and was headed over to spread it. On other occasions, he has walked over with bottled waters and offered to our group. I think the units are a little pricey and I recently received notice of a rate hike, but there is a customer bathroom on site which is extremely nice.
