We had a difficult move. Moved out of a large apartment building into another in Charlotte and neither had a loading dock. A-Tim and Viktor were fantastic. The move took hours, and never one complaint. No breakage, no mishaps, just hard work and professionalism. We are so grateful and impressed. read more

This company do not care about your products if you are a person of color! These Russian immigrants who are too old to move products quickly and at the end you will end up with cracked, stretched, and even broken items once they move your items to the final destination. My experience was that I still had to move products myself and I was moving faster than them and they arrived late. After the took their sweet time they hit you with a larger bill. I recommended this place to a coworker and all her items was broke and she experienced the same thing but her fee was refunded. Unfortunately I didn't see the damage until later. read more

Ok this is the second time we used the service. The first time it was awesome even though they broke a piece of my dresser, they were quick and awesome. This time they moved way less stuff and were slow, I mean I ended up paying the same amount for a 1/3 of the load! insane. I am not please and won't use again. Took way too long and the older man not friendly. read more

I had everything packed up in boxes (about 10 plus some miscellaneous things), one bed, two night stands, a desk, a couch, desk chair, and a mirror) it took two hours to get everything out of my one bedroom first floor... about a 10 min drive to my new place and took another 3 hours to get everything in my new place. I'm sorry but they took way too long to move not that much stuff and the person I spoke with on the phone agreed it wouldn't take that long so we estimated for 3 hours and it took nearly 5 and a half... wasn't expecting to pay almost $800. I felt very taken advantage of, wouldn't recommend. read more

The quickest and easiest moving experience I ever had!! They were able to come out the next morning after I called and were extremely efficient and well prepared. I missed my original 8-9 am appointment window and they were able to immediately accommodate and reschedule to 10:30 on the same day. The whole process was extremely effortless from start to finish and also the most affordable movers in the area. Could not recommend this company enough for your move. read more

He literally does it all (replacing toilets, replacing floors, treating the concrete, finding problem areas (mold) and replacing it, identify issues (wrong breakers placed in the house), painting rooms, replacing doors.. you name it and he can do it. What I appreciated the most about him is that he has strong communication, great work ethic and will get the job done no matter how long it takes. We had an issue or two with our ceiling fan after the project was done and he immediately came out to take a look - both at the fan and at the how it was wired (turns out it was the fan). He's definitely reliable and would take care of the job until the client is satisfied. His pricing is also very reasonable. I've only known him for three weeks and has already given him three projects. I'd definitely rely on Illia again in the future.

I received a message that they would be there between 11 and 12:45. And I told them we needed to start and to call me before coming to see if we still needed them. We of course my son unloaded the whole truck by himself. I believe I should have received an apology and my deposit back. I moved from Austin, TX to Charlotte, NC in May 2024 and I had a TERRIBLE experience with Move and Care. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! We paid for packing, long distance move, and six months of storage while we renovated our house (very expensive). Most of our belongings were extremely DAMAGED upon arrival. There was WATER DAMAGE and MILDEW on several items (even though Move and Care stated that the storage was climate controlled). Everything we got back was filthy and disgusting despite it being clean before the move. We paid for the insurance option (additional $1000) but it was horrible and worthless. Move and Care only reimbursed us for a small fraction of what was lost and damaged. They fixed some items they damaged with their "handyman." There were boxes that were lost (or stolen) too. Move and Care was unprofessional, slow, and totally worthless at reconciling damages and lost items. STAY AWAY AND BE WARY OF LONG DISTANCE MOVES FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE AWFUL. read more
