My neighbors came over in the afternoon and were amazed that the house was already empty. These guys not only responded right away (at 9pm Sat, wow!), they offered the lowest rates - they really wanted to help. They showed up as scheduled the next day and started moving right away. Rude and unprofessional beyond words!…read moreI have an elderly father who I was trying to get his things moved into an assisted living today. I confirmed the move last week and was good to go for today. I was told that movers would arrive between 10:30-11:00 am. When the movers didn't arrive at 11 I called and tried to get an estimate on arrival. I was told that they were behind from a previous move and that they'd be finishing up soon. It was getting closer to 1 and I called again. This time I was told they would be there between 2-3 and no later than that time and that I could get a discount. Fast forward to after the 3 o'clock time. I called back and got a rude man on the end of the phone. I simply asked when the movers would be there because I had been waiting since 10:30 am for someone to show up. He argued with me and told me that I had an afternoon move scheduled and that I would just need to wait until they got here. I continued ask for a time as it had been already 6 hours since the scheduled time. It was then that he told me that he wasn't doing business with me and that I was ungrateful and that he was canceling the move. I had asked him to please not do that and then he hung up on me! Horrible business. I reported the company to the better business bureau and filed a complaint. This isn't the first time this has happened either. Beware and don't trust the name - Florida family movers. It's a horrible business and not family oriented at all.
