Stay away from this company . I will rate them 0 if possible . I moved a lot, so I have experience with movers. These guys seem never done packing or moving before. Very disorganized, never enough boxes, tapes to pack. They take constant brakes , if takes them forever to pack, it took them two days longer to pack what they said. Then they did not have a truck so they have to rent one, they break things and things were missing like screws for furnitures. Awful , Awful experience. I am not sure why they are even in business for moving. They will argue with you over evethyning. I think they don't know who is paying. read more

Took 8 hrs and 20 mins to move a 2 bedroom apartment 4 mins down the road to a 2 story house. EIGHT HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES! How many boxes did they have to pack? Zero! They offered a 3rd guy up front to move things faster and when I said yes they said they don't have any movers who wanted to work on a Saturday. Mind you, everyone moves on weekends. The movers who came in were ok. Not efficient. They didn't wrap anything. I bought my own mattress cover. No TV cover. The sofa cushions they stuff it anywhere there's space without cover. Some of blankets that they cover everything with were very dirty. Each mover used my bathroom for 15 mins on my time. When I complained that they were taking too long, the manager politely said, would you like me to tell them to stop? Like that is an option on moving day! He said it takes them 3.5 mins from the apartment to the truck which is longer than usual and was the reason for the delay. Paid $180/hr for 8.2 hrs when everything was ready to go That ended up being more expensive than the best movers in town who quoted me $1200 for a 3-4hr job. I recommend not to hire except if they're all you got AND with a 4 hr hard stop upfront or if you like overpaying for things. Move your own boxes in a Uhaul if you can, cause these movers deliberately take their time. read more

I wish I could leave no stars. Liberty Movers is the most unprofessional company I have dealt with in a long time. First Is spoke with Deven and he gave me a reasonable quote to pack and move the items from my 3 bedroom, 2 and 1/2 bath from Orlando to Mt. Dora. His quote was 37% lower than the actual cost. He guys were late, slow at moving, and seemed to purposely get lost going from Orlando to Mt. Dora. I was charged $350 (I think) for one truck to drive to Mt. Dora. I was not given any of the paperwork so I have no idea what they actually charged me. That is so unprofessional! Also, Deven told me he would give Mt the $10 an hour discount for 1st day booking. Apparently the movers did not know and they charged me the full rate - since I have NO documentation it was hard to check. The office manager told me today that they did not honor the rate because of the date of my email. Deven confirmed with me on FaceTime I would get the reduced rate. Unethical. It took forever for three guys to do the move. Honestly, we did not have that much stuff in the house. We had cleaned out most of the closets and the garage. And then we get to the real kick in the ass. They destroyed my pottery barn dining table, lost the keys to a file cabinet with stuff in it, broke the brackets for my bed and told me they left them at the first house ( not there) so had to zip tie my bed together, broke an antique sailboat and broke some dishes. When I submitted the information, I was expected to know the weight of the items they broke and how they got broken - they got broken because the movers were completely unprofessional and obviously not trained in handling household items. Now I am bing told it is 4 to 6 weeks before they can resolve these issues. I have no dining table and since they charged my more than they should have and over $1000 more than the quote; I cannot replace my table. The worst! Avoid them and hire the local Cub Scout troop to move you. Children would have done a far superior job. Avoid! avoid! avoid! Do no use this company! read more

Extremely disappointing experience for a simple move from one apt to another in the same complex. I booked 3 guys for 3 hours. After an hour and 40 minutes, they were ready to call it due to weather. Now to be fair, one guy was ready to leave the minute he got there. It had rained although it wasn't raining when they wanted to leave and they made a promise to send two guys back the next day to finish the job. They were supposed to arrive between 8-9am, which seemed OK since my son had to be out of his original apartment that day. The next day ONE guy showed up with his young daughter in tow at 11:30 -- not at all what was agreed-upon. Again, he was ready to leave the minute he arrived. My son stepped in to help get the job done so he could finish and they could get out of the apartment. Liberty should have paid my son since he had to make up for the missing guy! When it came time to settle the bill, I figured at least I would save some $ but was told i had to pay the minimum of three guys for three hours each. To me, that's 9 man hours and not what I got at all. Between the two days I had 6 total man hours, including a lot of aggravation, because the second day was so late. I got several quotes for this job but somehow got sweet talked by Devon's sales pitch. I wish I had gone elsewhere. You should do the same. read more
