I love these guys! We've used them for 3 moves so far, loading and unloading, and I couldn't have been happier. I cannot say enough good things about them: on time, hardworking, careful with attention to every detail, listen and do exactly what you want (even when you change your mind), experts at packing the truck to maximum.... they really couldn't have done more for us. I get very stressed moving, but I become so calm when they show up and I can just relax and not worry about anything. We drove 1/2 of our house from FL to NJ the last time and nothing moved an inch in the truck. Our next move will be the remainder of our things out of FL. I called the Incredible Giants to load a 17 foot truck for a cross country move and they did a phenomenal job. Silas and Nick came out and loaded my truck extremely quickly and efficiently. They did the whole job in about 30 minutes and were very reasonably priced. They were also personable and gave me recommendations in my new city. I moved this weekend using a helper service of hireahelper and was referred to Gentle Giants. I was very please with my move. Showed up at 9 am and Jason and Ian were very professional and mindful of packing my moving truck and when we got to the new place unloaded fast and helped my put my bed together which was nice since I could get the frame to go together. I would use them again and have recommend them to several people as well. I was very nice to know that all the belongings that I packed arrived at me new place. I have used other movers in the area and had more than 20 boxes missing but were charged for twice the amount then was packed. These guys are aces and very reasonable. read more

This was my first experience using movers instead of bribing friends with pizza and now I doubt I'll go back to my old method. They were so friendly, funny, careful, and quick. When we got to the complex I was moving to, they said the freight elevator was down, but I was moving to the fourth floor. Despite them suddenly needing to take the stairs to move everything, they were still extremely pleasant and game. James & Jason arrived on time and ready to work. They surveyed the items to be moved and planned how they would load the truck. They were very careful with everything, and took special care with fragile items. TETRIS MASTERS!! They got more belongings into a 16' truck than even the truck rental company estimated would fit. We estimated a 2-hr move, but it took 2 1/2, which is not a big deal considering how much we moved and that many items were not included in the original plan/estimate. After a 2-day, 1100 mile road trip, another moving company helped to unload and even they commented on how well James had loaded & secured the truck. Once everything was unpacked in the new place, we were thrilled to discover NOT A SINGLE BROKEN ITEM! We're glad to recommend them and would definitely use them again! read more

I am very disappointed with this moving company- tried to get a hold of James multiple times but he never answered his phone and his voicemail was always full. It wasn't until I resorted to texting that I got a response prior to the move. The movers didn't come with any supplies of their own so luckily I had rented some dollies, etc. just in case. Thankfully I hired them through hireahelper.com because once my things arrived, they were horribly damaged due to poor packing and the movers hadn't used any of the moving blankets I had provided. The movers themselves were very courteous- I tipped them well and in hindsight I should've kept a better eye on the actual truck packing rather than organizing things inside. When I contacted James with pictures of the damage and asked what the process was for reimbursement, I never received a response. Luckily hireahelper reimbursed me partially for my damaged items, but I would've expected better from a moving company--my recommendation would be to look elsewhere. read more

And they worked very well with the timeframe I needed and even gave me guidance on how to get the most effective service for a 2-hour timeslot. They helped in an emergency situation and were wonderful right up to the $1,500 damage done to our Cherry Dining room table. I was told they would resolve the problem immediately. It has been a year! These guys are amazing. We booked them through Uhaul's moving help, but they told us in the future, we could call them directly and get a better price. We had two guys for 2 hours and they showed up and assessed and let us know that we would probably need 2 more guys and that they could call them if we wanted. We agreed. They were super careful with our stuff and even helped take apart (and then rebuild) a few pieces of furniture. We had a treadmill that we couldn't get into the room we wanted, so they even took the door off its hinges to get it into the room. We had used other moving services for a previous move and those guys were not half the professionals that these guys were. They really worked hard the entire time they were with us and treated everything with care. If we move again, we wouldn't call anyone else to help us. read more

I came here after reading all the great reviews/good rating for them but like some of the other reviews suggest its extremely hard to get a hold of them. As a service provider isn't that the least they could do? One out of my 7-8 attempts of communication succeeded and I wasn't even able to book them then for my move since James said he would call me back to confirm the date, which never happened. Had moving services recently. The guys were very courteous and knew what they were doing. They were a little late but I had also just arrived at the pick up location as well. I did not get charge for that time so I cannot complain. (I don't think)!!! naa anyway I was suggest the services again. The only thing I would say is I I understand that you have your own equipment but the movers should be a little more proficient or have a little more training in moving furniture pieces through doorways. Ok I know there is no textbook way to do something like that. Being a mover though should entitle you to having tips for protecting items against banging against the wall. I do understand that furniture sways and a lot of times you cannot get a third person in the middle. Taking your time always helps but I watched the guys and not one time did I feel like they were miss handling my things aggressively. I guess I should've tried to just wrap all the items with furniture covers but then it can make it super slippery for movers to grab. Let me find some stain and shut up lol. Good job read more

I've always moved using the help of friends and family, but we decided to take the "easy" way out and hire professionals this time. Unfortunately, we would have been better off with our own people. Before the move even got started, the IG called 3 times to say they would be later and later. I appreciated the communication, but that is where my appreciation ends. They brought a 3rd guy "for free" to make up for their tardiness, but the three of them meandered through the house at the slowest pace possible. My family and I were running circles around them, packing our own vehicles and making trips to the new house to help them out. When it was clear that time was running out, we gave up on having them load everything and left several items in the garage to move later on our own. We thought they could at least help us unload the truck. Nope. About 1/3 of the way through, they asked for more money to finish the job they started. I understand that they are paid by the hour, but as someone who has moved constantly her whole life, this job should've been done by then. There really was no excuse except that these guys are amateurs, just trying to make a little extra cash on the side of their real jobs. We even let them pile most the stuff in the front room to save them time and trips upstairs. I wouldn't pay them for another hour, mainly because I didn't think they could finish the job in that amount of time, and they left us with a truck 2/3 full. We ended up having to unload it ourselves in the cold and dark. So if you don't have any buddies willing to help you move in exchange for a case of beer, and you like throwing away money, then hire the IG. Otherwise ask your friends for help, or spring for real movers and save yourself this headache. read more
