I packed and moved most everything, except the furniture, by myself and I was able to get it done earlier than expected due to a work schedule change and they worked with me on scheduling my move a couple of days earlier. On the day of the move, they texted me with an ETA and were right on time as per the 1 hour window discussed. They were polite and professional and got right to work. My furniture packed, moved and unpacked was estimated at 2 hours and it came in just under since they worked so well as a team. They padded and wrapped my furniture to keep it safe and clean and everything arrived in good condition as they unpadded and unwrapped it as they placed it where I requested. Atis reached out that same day and we were able to discuss what services I needed and he provided me with a quote, which was reasonably priced compared to how much other friends have had to pay for movers. We had an incredibly great experience with Get Done Moving this weekend! We bought a house and only had one week to find movers and really only one day available in our work schedules to get the move completed. I found Atis (owner) through a Google search and from the moment I filled out the interest form, Atis called me and set up the move. The fact that he could get us in his schedule one week before the move was so great! For the quote, he asked me to record a video of everything that would be in the move so he could accurately price out the move. This is a GENIUS way of doing it....no surprises or hidden fees...my quote laid everything out that would be packed. I had heard horror stories of moving companies in FL that quote you one thing but then have hidden fees when you go to pay. But this company did not do that at all!! Atis was quick to send me a quote which was very competitive among the other moving companies. What made me go with them is the personalized feel I got from frequent communications with Get Done Moving. After requesting a quote, I got the proposal within a day and I got a call the day before the move confirming everything. I also called him to confirm a detail in the move and he was very responsive which was helpful! For a 3/2 house, we had three movers and a 26' truck, and boy did we fill that up! Our three movers, Yanis, John Dos, and Edwin were AMAZING!!! Very professional, quick, thorough, and extremely helpful. The guys took great care to make sure our more delicate items were protected and they really thought about where to place things so as not to break anything. Amazing!! My husband and I were surprised at how quickly they were able to get everything wrapped/protected, loaded, and once we got to the new house, they were literally running up and down the ramp to unload things...unbelievable how they have so much energy!! This move far exceeded our expectations. I feel so lucky we found this company and will definitely recommend them to anyone who is moving. Workers were polite; however, destroyed and broke the following items: 1) They were told repeatedly NOT to touch my custom Christmas tree and moved it when I was in the next room. I told them I would place it on the truck and retrieve it as well. It was completely destroyed when it arrived at my new location, 2). Broke a China plate, glass serving plate and glass and said nothing about the plates. 3) What idiot puts the laundry bleach bottles and family pictures in the bottom of a 6 ft. tall box w/bricks and heavy outdoor pots on top of that?? The bleach broke open, from the weight, and spilled all over the bottom. 4) Left kitchen boxes w/food inside in the garage 5) Left obvious household storage bins (not originally in garage) in the garage I had inadvertently tipped them prior to inspecting as they ran out the door no doubt knowing that they left me like that. If you have a move coming up look no further!! These guys are amazingly professional, courteous, and hard-working and they don't complain! I just moved from my one-bedroom condo AND an enormous storage unit into a brand-new home. In less than 10 hours total (over two days), they GOT IT DONE! Shout out to Shawn (the leader) who was fantastic with his organizational skills! Shawn knows how to pack a truck!! Not one thing was damaged or broken and they were so careful with my belongings. The other amazing movers were Nate, Yaris, Nate, and Anderson. They were so fun to be with and they never stopped working. When we got to the house, they dropped everything where I needed it to be and did it in record time. Money well spent. Get Done Moving GOT IT DONE! Extremely happy with the awesome job these guys did!! I swear they didn't stop.. they worked very hard and non-stop! It ended up being a larger job than anticipated and they had no problem came in and handled my huge mess of a move with ease and even told us how to save money. Very hard workers, they protected my belongings, they know what to do to safely get your items from one place to another. Customer service is at an all-time low. Now that I am all moved, I have time to talk about my experience with this company. On December 22, 2022, I scheduled a move with them. He told me his initial charge. I informed him that I will just locate a local company because he was charging me the drive he'd have to take to get to me which was out of town (150 miles away to be exact). I found them on thumbtack; not sure how they showed up for my location. I told him that I will find someone that's local and thanked him. I was only moving 1.8 miles away. It was a small move estimated maybe an hour total time for the job. He then continued to seek me out as a customer. He told me that he will charge me $275. I asked him how much extra for 2 items going to the junk. He stated $350. So on that day, I booked it. My move was for 1/28/23. On 1/25/23, I sent a message confirming the appointment time for 1/28/23 @ 10 am. He confirmed stating that he had me down. This was Wednesday. On Friday 1/27/23, he sent me a text stating "Hello unfortunately after carefully Loki threw the distance and the job description I can not do a move for 350.00. My truck takes 150.00 just to fill up in gas. And then you want items to be junked which is another cost of over 100.00. Im sorry but at that price i will not be able to ." I simply said "okay, thank you." Why would you text someone the day before at 4:06pm because you had regrets about setting a price with them? Then he texts me at 4:06 pm when businesses are about to close and it is about to be the weekend. Not only did that set me back, I ended up having to pay extra to stay a day late in my old place. I have no problem with him charging his initial price. As a business, you have every right to charge what you want. My issue is if you have a price then stand on it! Don't lower for a customer and then later regret it and cancel on them last minute. It almost seemed like it was done on purpose because who does that?! I thought I was in the twilight zone. For my actual move, I literally only had a washer & dryer, queen bed, 2 computer desks, 2 dressers and a couch. I had moved everything else myself already. So he would've had to move less than what I initially told him. We have a life, we all have stuff going on. You don't do that people. I will never recommend these people to anyone. I have never experienced such horrific customer service. read more

LITERALLY they are by far the best moving company you will find in Orlando!!! I have moved with them personally 3 times and I have atleast a dozen friends that have used them to move and loved them! Not sure what happened with the person below but doesn't sound like them at all... they have never broken anything of mine and they wrap everything up in cellophane without me even having to ask. I will never use another moving company ever again that is for sure! read more
