If I could give zero stars, I would. Hired to do a job of moving me in. Refused to do that job. Thems the facts. Story: I had to hire new movers on the day of my move, because they refused to get their truck certified by Uhaul to drive a double box trailer. They also refused to me, to do three trips with single boxes, because it's warm out. Then, when I drove to the Uhaul location to solve this issue (which I did in less than 5 minutes of arriving) they drove away to do another job. Sorry, not sorry, I fired these incompetents. Move Logic! I would first like to thank Jason and CJ for all their help today. Compared to the other quotes theirs was the most straight forward and easy to understand. Jason was very articulate and professional when explaining the moving process and what to expect. The movers arrived within the arrival window and managed everything very efficiently. Mind you we had a fully furnished 4 bedroom house with a ton of boxes and exercise equipment. The move was quite lengthy but was very clean with no damage done to our furniture or either property. We've had other movers move our things previously that ended up being a complete disaster... and we had to pay a lot more. Move Logic made this transition a more positive and stress free one. This company is either a complete scam or totally inept, likely both. Jason and CJ first failed to reach out on delivery day, then at the end of the day claimed they could not make the delivery until 2 days later, then 2 days later refused the delivery for "complicated issues." It was unclear what their explanation for being unable to initiate the delivery was, but it appeared like there was some dissatisfaction with the price or nature of the job on their end at the last minute. Really obviously a frustrating position when relying on a moving company... hard to think this is the first time they operated like this. read more

We moved with Jason and team about a month ago. I got in touch with him via a referral and his quote was significantly cheaper than a couple of others who came to our house and estimated. They both estimated that our move would take two trucks. However, Jason kept reassuring me that ours would take one truck and his men would be able to handle it. I sent him pictures of every room so he had a good idea of furniture. In fairness, he did not see everything because we had not started boxing items. What went well: He was very courteous and his team was very hard working. It was a hot day and they worked continuously. They had a smile and genuinely helpful. What did not go well: The move was took twice as long and I was continuously concerned because I knew I was paying by the hour. They had to make a full second trip and the second time around too the truck was FULLY loaded. This is when I could tell that the estimate was very off. The move went on till almost midnight. They came with a very small number of blankets and much of my furniture was just shrink wrapped. As a result, while there wasn't significant damage, there were scratches on many items. Because we were moving so much stuff and running out of time, I had to leave behind some non-critical items. I had to clear those over 5-6 trips on consecutive days so my move was painful for many days. Final cost was more than double what MoveLogic had quoted on account of the move being so long. Overall, I liked Jason and crew...high marks for courtesy and application. However, I think they would have done better if they had estimated better. I would have been better forewarned and the move would have been less stressful. I ended up paying almost the same as what all the other guys were quoting and the move took much longer and was more stressful. read more

A very bad experience to say the least. This job that should have taken only about 8 hours took us over 3 days and it was not even completed. We have to hire someone else to finish the things that are sitting in our garage. Jason was not ready to acknowledge any of his fault here and that of his people because they are not willing to listen to the complains and see it from a customer's point of view. I helped them move and disassemble so much of the furniture and in return did not even get an appreciation or the quality that we deserve. I also was astonished at his nature and said that no one can judge me because I did not do anything wrong. I ended up paying a lot more than my estimate. Please do not let them fool you in saying that they will get the job done because they wont. Look somewhere else where there is REAL Logic to moving. I would not recommend this moving service for apartment buildings. I was given a time window from 12-2 and I had to call the movers to get an estimate of arrival time, and I called at 1pm and they told me they would be there around 1:30 and then showed up at 2:08pm without keeping me updated. I had a mattress, headboard (already packed) / bed frame, sofa, coffee table and mirror and ten boxed items that were all ready to go and it took the movers two hours to just get this stuff down. They claimed the apartment buildings were difficult to move out individuals (its an apartment building all people do is move in and out) I have spoken to property managers at both buildings and other residents and they said their movers had no difficulty, and they themselves stated they noticed that the movers were moving at a slow pace. At one point I even started helping the movers carry stuff and went to get another dolly to make it more efficient. Carrying one item at a time just doesn't make sense, I could have done that on my own. When it came to the payment I advised that I was not happy with how long it took and thought they could be more efficient. Which just turned into an argument and I felt I was not receiving the customer service I should have. Also, the mover asked me to put the legs in a bag, which I did but he never told me to take it with me, it is on the mover to consolidate and make sure all the pieces of furniture are together. I called to speak to the manager about the experience and instead it just became argumentative. And b/c I had gotten the movers pizza to eat after the move (which I do for any service provided to me) he did not believe I was unhappy with the service. I think it was because I was female and maybe not as aggressive as I should have been the whole time the manager believes I need to take the fault for his workers slow pace. When i hire professionals I do not think i need to push them to get the job done. I wasn't looking for two guys with a Uhaul I was looking for efficient fast movers that would make my move seamless and less stressful as possible. I ended up being super upset and crying after the move instead of being at ease and having peace of mind. That's the whole point of hiring a professional service. I would not hire this service for apartment buildings or for the baltimore/city area. Maybe for houses they may be useful but there are many services that price based on items or have actual trained movers come that are trained how to pack items on dollys properly (my tables fell twice from the dolly). And there are many lower prices/services available on thumbtack that I would probably go with instead. I am even more disappointment with the manager and the customer service of how they are not receptive to feedback or to better their services. Do to unforeseen circumstances, my son was left high and dry with no help to move his family or a truck. This being his deadline to vacate,we scrambled to find assistance. After exhausting every possibility the day before the holiday, the anxiety began to set in. Then we got a return call from Move Logic! The owner was able to stop my daughter in-law from hyperventilating. Within 2 hours Jason showed up at their door with Reggie and C.J. The three of them being family men themselves, were sympathetic to how traumatizing this situation could be to young children and they assured my family they were in good hands. Movers were professional and hard working. However, move before ours apparently ran long and we got bumped to the following day. This was very inconvenient and they do not compensate for this though apparently it is a fairly regular occurrence. If possible, schedule for early in the day. read more

The movers did not show up. I did not no-show. Their email indicating such, displays the lack of integrity that proved to be the basis of this company's values, based on my conversations. Move Logic was unable to deliver my items within the timeframe allotted by my building as mentioned to the person who made my reservation. I told them what time I was arriving. This individual indicated that they would arrive no later than 10:30am because they try to get jobs in DC done early. The customer service agent was condescending and policing my emotions and indicated that I was "really upset" because my things weren't delivered, and not because I received the wrong information. I was upset on both accounts. I was treated poorly because I am a woman expressing anger due to poor customer service and in distress because I don't have any of my things. Another thing I mentioned when making the reservation, that I was flying in and had none of my things. And the driver said I yelled and cursed at him. Of course I raised my voice when he told me he couldn't promise yo get my things. I told him I had nothing but the clothes on my back, and neither him nor the customer service agent I spoke with seemed to care. I was told that if I was going to yell at people they couldn't help me. After I told him I did not have a bed or a bowl to eat from. This was the most insensitive and unprofessional interaction I have ever encountered. I started crying on the phone and I was told to stop yelling and screaming and that I proved the driver right. I told him the guy hung up on me twice and he told me didn't believe that. That we were telling two different stories, though he refused to tell me what the driver said. Again, I said "what am I supposed to do with this shit!?", because no one was really offering a solution. And what happened to customer service? Is that not important to this company. I have multiple injuries, which is why I hired movers. I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder, and suffer from myofascial syndrome. My mobility is limited and disabled in multiple capacities. I deal with chronic excruciating pain and limp everyday, and cannot sleep on the floor. My arm goes numb when picking up items. I mentioned several times that my window was only open from 10am until 1pm. I even mentioned my injuries. Instead of immediately calling a driver and resolving the issue the way a real business would, my emotions and tone were policed and I was threatened with a lack of service if I did not behave. This was an awful experience. Both parties behaved as if explaining to me why they were late justified my not getting my things today, and being given inaccurate information. They behaved as if I didn't have the right to be upset. As if raising my voice was not justified. I am suffering with physical disabilities and was treated like trash. I do not feel bad about being emotional. Anyone would. People should be more apologetic when their job greatly impacts someone's life. This was horrible and unprofessional and the tones I dealt with were dripping with chauvinism. read more

5 whole stars!! If there were more, I'd add those too!!! Move logic was AWESOME! I hesitantly called on Thursday for a Saturday move, and luckily they were able to make it happen! Jason called Saturday morning to confirm the move for 1pm. Then, Jason and Tony showed up right on time. We did a walk through to do inventory of the items to be moved and then the guys got to work! They even commended us for our packing skills and laughed at my incredibly corny jokes. LoL!! I recommend Move Logic to everyone! The prices were competitive and reasonable. Moving nightmare, Moving logic made every fear I had of hiring movers a reality. First problem they gave me a window of 9-11am. They called to push back the move three times to show up at 2:30pm. Secondly they quoted me for three hours it took them 6 hours minus the 30 minute commute to my new place. While the move was taking a long time I went to check what was going on because I only seen one person which was the owner Jason moving things from my apartment. I noticed the second worker was doing all the work as I had to help him put my couch on the truck that I noticed had a slight tear from them moving it. The worker told me "He never seen this guy before today. He came to pick me up gave me a shirt and said come with me I have some work for you". The same worker also broke a piece of wood of my bed then said he did not do it. After being questioned again went on to convince me I didn't really need that piece of wood and it was pointless. The owner Jason did come to replace the wood the next day. When they left I went to turn on my tv and noticed it was broken. Unfortunately, for me they left before I noticed it because I did not notice it while they were there they are not liable. Which is my fault for failing to check everything before they left. Jason told me he ask the worker what happened to the tv. Of course he had no idea what happened to the tv as if he did not already lie about breaking my bed. They ultimately decided they will not replace the tv since it happened after I left. Moral of this story, you get what you pay for and check all belongs before they leave the premises. read more

Jason and Keith were amazing!!!! They handled getting my items from a Uhaul location. They had to wait an hour and half at the location to get access to my items, but they had a great attitude about it and kept me updated on their progress. They called again when they were close to my location, so I could be prepared. Jason and Keith were very courteous and followed all COVID precautions. It snowed the day before and they charged me a $150 inclement weather fee so they could "clean their truck." Why do I need to pay to clean your trucks? I argued that there was no snow on the ground and they didn't care. They showed up late because their truck wouldn't start and had to rent a U-haul. Charged me an extra $300 to go an additional 30 minutes. Showed up with one man and a woman to pack up an entire house. Afterwards they stated they had to charge extra because it was an all day job. Well duh because you only had two people. Jason refused to move an item that I was selling to a Craigslist buyer as part of the move and got into an argument with the buyer. He otherwise would've moved it if I didn't say anything so it shouldn't have been a big deal. They broke a lamp during the move and failed to reimburse me. Just a terrible experience overall, will never use again and don't recommend. Way overpriced for terrible service. read more

I am always very honest with my reviews so listen up. Before you decide to partron this moving company be sure to check around for pricing. I'm sure that there are other places that will not nickel and dime you Like this one did. My fiancé and I had a move that was semi local and ended up over a 2 day span being charged over 3K!!!! Make sure that you ask all the right questions Also be sure to keep a watch handy because if they go over the hour like as little as 10 minutes over they will will charge you for another hour. This happened to me. They went over 10 minutes and charged me another $195. I have used other moving companies this by far was the most expensive I have ever paid in my entire life. I would never use them again and wouldn't refer them again unless you're rich and have money to blow. On the positive side they were nice guys and did a good job. Epic fail. No show. Sent two lovely ladies to pack who were very nice but not professional packers. Took them five hours to pack about 20 boxes. Then I never heard from the owners again until they wanted their money. Didn't tell me they weren't coming, when I found out they made a bunch of excuses about a broken truck and cell phone and whatever. Then they called and literally screamed and hassled me because I wanted to pay the young ladies and not them. Did not want to give any concession whatsoever for not showing up. My experience with Move Logic was top notch. Jason and his team Reggie, Patrick and CJ were extremely professional, courteous and worked very hard. My move was originally supposed to be a pickup, store my stuff for 2 days and then deliver to my new address. The morning Jason and his team arrived, I got some bad news that I wasn't going to be able to move into my house on the planned date. I explained the situation to Jason and Store Logic was able to accommodate store my belongings for a longer period of time even though it wasn't planned for. Of course these unforeseen circumstances changed the price some but Jason worked with me to give me the best deal possible and it came out to be very reasonable in the end and probably still lower than anyone could've done it for. I would definitely recommend Move Logic to anyone for their moving needs, they were fantastic! read more

Scammed. When I first set up the appointment, the owner of the company told me that there was a 2 hour minimum. When I received the estimate, it said there was a 3 hour minimum. After several days of unanswered emails and voice messages, the owner honored the original agreement of 2 hours, and I signed an estimate stating that the move would be 2 hours. According to the movers, they arrived at 10:15am (15 mins late). The concierge later provided evidence that they arrived to the concierge desk at 10:30am. They knocked on my door at 10:45am. They worked from 10:45 to 12:45. When it came time to pay, I assumed that I'd be paying for 2 hours worth of work, as indicated by our arrangement. The owner insisted that the clock started when they arrived (something I should have been notified of ahead of time). We went back and forth about this for 30 minutes in person and then an hour over the phone. It was he-said-she-said on when they arrived. Regardless, I believe(d) that they should be paid for the amount of time that they actually worked, which was 2 hours. However, I was still charged for 3 hours. I was charged an extra hour for the amount of time it took them to get to their truck to my front door. Even if they believe they worked 10-15 minutes longer (which they didn't), not only should they not charge an extra hour, they should advise that time went over according to them.. and also they should move faster. Overall, I do not recommend working with Move Logic. If you do, be sure to be clear about when the clock starts and when it ends. They will charge you another full hour if you go over any amount of time. read more

I was scheduled for a 9am-11am window. They called around 9 and said they were ready to go but wanted to wait out the rain. I told them it wasn't raining in Baltimore and they agreed to be on their way. They did call back again for a couple of hours and said they were 15 minutes out, however they didn't show up for another 30 minutes. When they arrived, it took a while for them to strategize how to get boxes out of my storage unit. They struggled to get our couch into the house, my husband ended up having helping them because it looked like they were going to just give up. They just claiming it wouldn't fit through the door. But it did. Then we asked them to move a dresser upstairs again with my husband's help. They were unable to do it and my husband ended up getting irritated with their negative attitude. He just said forget it I'll hire another company and they did not even hesitate to drop the dresser down and leave. The quote said they would come with moving blankets and everything needed for a professional move. They came in a U-Haul with no materials. We had to provide the moving blankets so they wouldn't mess up our floors. We had a real simple move and they made it difficult. I would not recommend them for any move that include furniture or heavy boxes. read more
