To some this may have been the part where you panic, especially if you are running small items back and forth to your new place, to me?? This was PERFECT, because I was able to have a headstart for my long moving day. The truck was large enough, both movers came in and were polite, patient, and did not make me feel uncomfortable when handling my items. They wrapped all dressers, tv stands, coffee tables, and TVs and ensured everything was delivered carefully. No frills, no stalling for extra time (you do get charged hourly if you exceed your allowed time), and just straight to business. He says his notes are confusing so he wants to check. We go over things, AGAIN. He then tells me that it sounds like more work so, he is going to send 5 guys instead of the original 2 guys and a truck because it's gonna be a big job and that it would take 9-12 hours and double the price that I was told. Umm, what? For a 2 bedroom apartment?? He tells me I can speak to his general manager, Kion. I literally confirmed with him before! I literally start crying because I am already stressed from preparing to move in a timely manner before the 31st. Kion and I speak again and he won't even let me get a word in and trying to say that the numbers Mike estimated are correct and that there is no way it wouldn't be a full day job. I cancelled, he says he will return my deposit and then transfers me to customer care where the guys asks me what can he help me with? You tell me, sir. He hears me out and says he need to speak with Kion to get his perspective and will call back. No one has called. Lesson learned to NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

The called about 40 minutes before the start time to let me know their ETA, which was actually about 10 minutes before the arrival window started so we were off to a great start. Moving day is always nerve-wracking and adding strangers into the mix can be unpredictable, but they both took the time to introduce themselves by name and were so polite, kind, and calm right off the bat that it was a huge relief. We did a quick walkthrough of the house and they asked for clarifications or more information at times, which was great because I felt like they were really listening and paying attention to my comments and concerns. Then the move itself was smooth and uneventful. I didn't have any concerns about my furniture because I saw them wrapping everything up securely. At one point, a screw came loose from one of my table legs. Alpha found me to ask if I knew about any issues with the legs on that table. I told him it was a second-hand table so I wasn't sure, but asked if it was a big issue. He said no, and that he could put the screw back in, but he wanted other make sure I knew it had happened. I know that's partially because they don't want to be blamed for something they didn't do, but I still appreciated that they called it to my attention right away so there weren't any issues or questions later, and that he was able to fix it for me. Once we got to the new place, they took the time to ask where I wanted specific furniture or boxes to go in my new place so that I wouldn't have to move it all to a different room later. They wrapped up just a little ahead of the estimated time and it was super convenient to pay with Venmo. All-in-all it was a great experience and I'd use them again if I'm moving in the area.

We did the walk-through, he asked a lot of questions and then he promptly sent an estimate. We have a lot of things so it took five guys and two trucks. The crew leader contacted me the day before to confirm the details and they showed up promptly the day of. They were incredibly friendly, fun, and energetic the entire time. And very polite. They treated all of our things very well and didn't have a problem moving any of the weird odds and ends we couldn't find a way to pack. When we arrived they put everything in the new house where we wanted it and even though we could tell they were suffering from the extreme heat and the weight and amount of our things, they never lagged or complained. They put the beds back together quickly and correctly as well as the dining room table. I'd be in hospital if I had to move all my stuff. At the end, the crew leader went over the paperwork, explained all the final charges line-by-line, and took payment. Very professional. We could not be happier. They were a great crew of guys. Day of the move the team was late and I didn't receive communication. It also took 10 hours to move a 3 bedroom 2200 sq house to a 1600 sq foot townhome and we had to leave a number of items in the original home that I had to go back to retrieve on my own. I asked for patio furniture and a grill to be added day of (1 table, 6 stackable chairs, 2 wicker chairs with ottoman's) and am unsure if this contributed to the increased time of the move (the estimate I was given was for 7 hours). I was told dismantling the beds could be easily handled by the team, I mentioned I could handle them but didn't get to it in time so they dismantled them but then the screws were lost to one bed and they refused to put the other two children's beds together (citing liability which I was not informed of). I was left with multiple broken items (the leg and attachment of my dresser completely broke off, both my children's dresser legs were broken, there was a hefty chip on a buffet table, a plastic storage bin was broken, and my suede ottoman was covered in water after being placed near patio furniture. Freshly painted walls are now scuffed and several doorframes have dents/dings following completion of the move. It has been several weeks- I contacted the owner with photos of my broken items and was immediately told he would be happy to fix/replace things and asked for item numbers which I provided. Since then- nothing has been done and I assume nothing by will be done.
