The small space has all the equipment you might need and/or what you might find in a much larger space. It's much more than I would want to keep at home. Evans takes a, highly tailored, approach to your needs. He mixes up the exercises during each session. Much better than I could do on my own. I had surgery about a year ago, and still favor my leg. That hasn't been a problem, and all of this has picked up where my physical therapy left off. Evans also provides positive reinforcement, and no judgement. I was having some lower back pain during my most recent session and we spent the second half of it on the massage table. Even that time was informative and helpful to me. Whatever it takes! You'll make progress quickly. That's what these guys do. Worth it!

After the pandemic and a death in the family that knocked me off my feet, I was really out of shape. I want to be healthy and fit and Upfit has saved me. The support and training is unlike anything I have ever experienced. It's like having a personal trainer but way more fun as others are training along side you. Each "athlete" get a custom training routine but we all work out together in a small group. The schedule is flexible, so if your schedule changes each week you don't have to miss a workout. Wes trains you AND teachers you so you can eventually be able to do it on your own. The goal is to develop a fitness routine that can take you through years to come. I highly recommend.

Took the TRX & Stretch class…read more It was a small class of 6 people. We were split up into 2 groups. Half used the TRX Machine, half did bodyweight exercises, constantly switching throughout the class. The instructor was friendly as soon as I walked in, but the class was a little confusing. Because we kept switching groups, it was hard to remember what the bodyweight group exercise was when we were previously just the TRX group, so there were times when we would just look at each other in confusion, not completely sure if we were doing the exercise correctly. It was a small class though, so we did get corrected occasionally on our form. This past month, I've been taking a few fitness classes in different studios and this was one of the most rigorous. The exercises using the TRX were harder to do than the bodyweight or floor exercises we did. The studio is quite average in size. There's 4 TRX machines and 4 punching bags. There's a long mirror on the wall for you to check out your form while you're doing the class. There's also a shower area and a bathroom, but they're separated through rooms. I didn't see any lockers in the studio. We just put our coats to the side where the rest of the other equipment were. I would really rate this studio a 3.5 but given the friendliness of the instructor and how sore I felt afterwards, I just rounded up.

For the intensity and efficaciousness of the one hour workouts offered, it's a f&$#%;/ steal. Staff is pretty friendly and trainers are tough but fair and overall inclusive. They coach in real time, there's no time for bruised egos. Everyone is treated exactly the same, meaning, whether you're dropping in for 30$/class or you dropped near 1k for 6 months up front, there is no preferential treatment. I doubt they even know who's there for long term or not because they are equally engaged with everyone. There's no ac yet so it can get pretty odorous at times especially when you got 15 in a class. I personally dont like hitting people however its a part of certain classes so you gotta know what the theme is for the class youre attending. Small Gatorade is 2$. You can buy gloves i think for 45 or 80. Wraps were 20$ for me. The elasticity is not as good as some of the wraps I got from Title boxing so I probably wouldnt buy from here directly. They do sell merchandise like tshirts and sweatshirts but nothing is on display at this location. Ive been to totally full classes and some with only me and another person and had a great workout regardless. Think body weight exercises, workout with weights, cardio, hitting bags, etc. They dont separate classes by skill and thats something I noticed annoys longer term patrons i e. People who are really there to spar. I just want to get my ass kicked doing a hiit style workout and im not really very well coordinated so sometimes i forget the moves or forget to move to my right or my left. However i got 6 months left to improve and get better. I havent been to any morning classes. Only 530 or 7 which i like the other classmates. I went at 1 on a friday once and loved it because it was a tiny class and the instructor kicked my ass. Im already seeing my body weight distribution shift and my endurance is fire. Everything else about this place, including the owner Kseniya is an ongoing disaster. Starting from a filthy, gross, smelly bathroom, that they "demand" you wear socks to go to , training a whole summer with a broken AC, a clique-like "social club" atmosphere, where you have people (up to 2-4 at a time) talking about anything and everything during a "pilates mind/body" class, and the owner doesn't care. It can easily become a hostile environment, because it is Disruptive to having a meaningful focused workout, and once again, having cameras there, the owner doesnt care to address the issue (or any other issues). She simply doesnt give a sht about anything that goes on there. The last "straw" was her trying to scam me for a holiday "promo". She refused to accommodate an ongoing promo that she charged me for 20 classes, refused to refund my $, and I had to dispute the charges w my Amex cc. Eventually, she was "forced" by Amex to refund my $. Zero appreciation and professionalism for clients (and trainers) who have been loyal w the studio for an extended period of time. Good trainers leave, loyal clients leave bc there are 3 other pilates studios in the same vicinity. The owner Kseniya is often dismissive of ANY concern that a client may have, she refuses to pick up/text back in a Timely professional manner, inaccessible, and simply has a "whatever" attitude towards clients. Don't waste your $$ here. Much better options: Lux Pilates & Ira Pilates.
