The quote was a bit more compared to other companies, but the fact that they were transparent and had no hidden fees made us confident in the purchase. I have heard that other companies quote lower and add surprise fees (sometimes upon arrival). The price of the quote was the price we paid. Note: we gave them the credit card info prior to pick up and it was charged right after the car was picked up, but before the delivery. Pick up: Instead of the regular pickup from a custom location, we dropped off the car at there headquarters in Burlingame a day before pickup. They allow drop off anytime and will do a car inspection with you if you drop off during business hours (I recommend this). In transit: They gave me a point of contact to ask questions throughout the trip. Delivery: It arrived quick. 1 week! The night before, they texted me their estimated time of arrival (1 hour window) and location. This was accurate and was easy to plan for the night before. There was a final inspection as well. My fiancé and I had to move 2 cars from San Francisco to Atlanta. After being hounded by telemarketers (word to the wise: never ever sign up for online car moving services. I received calls and emails all day, every day for a month straight). After a couple of false leads and empty promises, we finally bit the bullet and paid more for this service. It was seamless from end to end. We scheduled a drop off time at 4 am, dropped off our car on our way to SFO, and our car was delivered on time (actually one day early) 1.5 weeks later in Atlanta. The drop off location near SFO in itself is a god send since most San Francisco streets won't be able to accommodate the pick up truck without clogging the entire street. Our cars came intact without any issues. They also arrange for a taxi service and pay for the ride to the airport. During the moving process we received a couple of calls with updates on the car's whereabouts. You can definitely find service for hundreds cheaper if you want to save money and don't mind your sanity. If money isn't an issue I would highly recommend. Also, some car companies will nickel and dime on how much stuff you put in the trunk. We had about 100-150 lbs in each of our trunks and was never charged for it. They are good at communicating through emails and via texts on the phone. They are always on time and the transport driver texts or calls as to what day and time he will be arriving. He even contacted me while on the road to check in. I didn't have any problems what so ever. My 2017 Impala was picked up in California on July 22 and delivered to me yesterday, July 30, in Pennsylvania. I checked the car over throughly for any damage and there was none. I unfortunately had a HORRIBLE outcome moving two classic cars from NYC to San Diego. One arrived just fine, but the second was clearly tampered with and maybe even broken into. The brand new trunk lock was stripped and spinning upon arrival. Paint scratched and dinged on a two week old paint job. The WORST OF IT WAS MY TRANSMISSION WAS FORCED INTO REVERSE GEAR AND HAD TO BE REBUILT AT $2000!!! Not only did they deny any responsibility (i had a video of the car reversing just fine going onto the truck) they did not work with me at all to resolve. DO NOT RECOMMEND and have already have steered three others away also moving to California and have filed a small claims case in San Francisco. If anyone else has had bad experiences, feel free to contact me and we can pursue a class action case as well. The evidence doesn't lie. In an update Justin your response below is 500% bullshit. Complete car was repainted and I have the bill to prove it. Stop making ignorant claims where you have no context and where I have evidence of car loading fine and all documentation of paint, new locks etc. Oh wait, YOUR inspection receipt clearly states "all new paint." Weird! Because you partner with incompetent vendors, this makes you incompetent as well by default. Stop lying. It's that simple. My mechanic did state it was forced into gear and I have that email from YOUR employee that states that. I had a great experience with All American (MoveAuto). They were very communicative and Vanessa did an excellent job of following up proactively, and also responded well throughout the process. There's a reason this company gets 5 stars. We chose interior transport considering it's winter and the van was brand new. Stephanie did the sales consult and the negotiation and we were able to agree upon a fair price. She even suggested interior wasn't necessary in order to save us some money, but we still wanted enclosed. There are a few things to note so you won't be surprised. This is probably the case with any transporter. - You may not know your pickup or drop off time/date and time until less than 24 hours beforehand. Even then, it may be subject to change. For example, we were told the cars would arrive on Saturday but got a call on Friday night asking if we could pickup in an hour, instead. We actually preferred this, but if we couldn't, Saturday would have been fine for the driver to wait. - The driver will call you an hour out, but otherwise you talk to Safe Auto dispatcher and your rep at All American. The dispatcher will have the most up-to-date info regarding your vehicle timing. - MoveAuto/All American works with other designated trucking companies. They used Safe Auto Transport for ours. Safe Auto was very skilled and careful handling cars, they are also patient with your picture-taking so don't rush - Plan for about an hour each for the pickup and for the drop-off. It's not a fast process. - For our drop off, they used the big transporter. For the pickup, they use a local truck then move to the transporter. - The transporter needs a big shopping center lot to park in (e.g. big box store, grocery store back lot, etc.) so it's unlikely they'll deliver right in your house. These trucks are massive. The local truck is more flexible with pickup location. - We did cross-country transport in early spring from CA to VA. It took over 11 days from pickup to drop off. There was some inclement weather in the midwest. Also, I would recommend that you get your cars picked up closer to the date you need to leave by and rent a car on the other end, if possible. Car rentals can always be shortened or extended which is easier than trying to rent a car on both sides. read more

Here comes the cliched line - I wish i could give ZERO or NEGATIVE stars ! NEVER EVER USE THESE GUYS FOR YOUR SERVICE ! They claim to deliver exotic cars when they can't ship a regular sedan ! They destroyed my BMW's suspension and rejected my claim ! so much for their customer service ! I was made to look like a liar - I feel pathetic posting this review ! And worse, I paid a $200 premium over other services because of "great reviews". My biggest Gripe more than the damage (which I understand can happen during cross country move) was how they made me look like a complete liar claiming i was putting blame on their company for my own faults. So much in the name of customer service. And then took the high road offering a $500 deductible refund on my insurance claim from my own insurance provider ! I had my 4 month old BMW 328i in pristine condition shipped through them to NY from California. I dropped off the vehicle at their Burlingame location. Pick up and initial inspection was all good and so was the customer support through the transit. The nightmare began when the car was finally shipped to NY. The day of shipping, the handling of the car from the delivery truck was abysmally bad. It took them close to 45 mins to unload the only car from the truck and it was done as though the people were doing it for the first time. The driver was super rude and refused to deliver it in our apartment parking garage when the community manager was OK to do that. My wife had to inspect the car in heavy rain for 15 mins. Nevermind all of that, as the car was in the same condition cosmetically as it was delivered to them in Burligame ! Yayy we were super happy and I also gave them a 5 star review which i deleted eventually for the reasons to follow. My wife received the car on Saturday and finally took it out for a drive on Monday. The first issue was the Collision detection system failure which i thought might be happening due to the dirt on the sensors due to the cross country travel. Then came the rear end of the car fishtailing and making rubbing and weird noises on lower speeds. All this while, the collision detection system showing failure. Since this seemed as a safety hazard, we immediately took this to the BMW showroom who told us that the COMPLETE REAR SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY WAS DAMAGED ! BMW advisor told us this was typically due to the ratchet arrangement on how the car is tied down on the truck. Yes we did sign off on the car but purely on cosmetic appearance because thats what you do ! The company never expected or documented this anywhere that we also should drive the vehicle and confirm the condition !! Then the bigger nightmare was dealing with the people in the company ! Mike from their office completely rejected our claim saying he investigated with the driver and did not find fault and claimed we damaged the vehicle right after delivery !! Ofcourse the truck driver would not admit any fault. He said we could have driven the car over a curb and damaged the suspension. SERIOUSLY ?? Not a single scratch on the body but we somehow managed to completely destroy the rear suspension on a brand new BMW 328i by driving it over a curb ? A car perfect on handing over to them screwed up right after delivery ? It was impossible to believe he was rejecting our claim. He blatantly rejected our claims with it being obvious the car was damaged in transit. Refused to file a claim and asked us to go through our own insurance with a promise to oblige us with a $500 deductible reimbursement. Its just so sad and disheartening to have your brand new car damaged like this in transit and you made to look like a liar for blaming the trucking company for supposedly my own faults !! Had my car shipped from Connecticut to California and was very pleased with the service I received. Stephanie was great and reached out to me throughout the process to keep me posted on the progress. The driver was friendly as well when the car was delivered. There are two main reasons I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. The car was very dirty upon arrival. Also, the car was dropped off on the side of a very busy road. I wish they had asked me about the best place to park before they arrived. Luckily, things worked out and I was able to get my car safely back to my home. All in all, I am glad to have my car back and in good condition. I hired Move on Auto to transport my BMW 328i from Bakersfield, CA to Austin, TX. They picked up in time, but I had to drive to a location where the truck could safely park, which is understandable. I was out of state and was unable to be present at drop off, so we planned my son to receive and sign for the car at his residence. The driver did not call to inform me that he would be unable to get his truck to the agreed upon delivery location until 2 hours before drop off. He said that they had an agreement with Carmax and that he would drop it off at their nearest location but left out the part that it was 45 minutes from the original agreed upon drop-off. I had no one to pick the car up so I called Carmax to make sure it was safe and was told by Carmax they had no such agreement, and it would be towed within 12 hours if not removed. After my initial call to Move on the driver called me and was extremely rude and didn't give a rip about my predicament, his comment was "good luck"! I eventually was able to get the car picked up which cost me additional $ and time. Move on Auto was not helpful in getting the car delivered to the original destination from Carmax. They agreed to at least refund me some of the $ but after multiple calls they never responded. Very unprofessional! Last point, the lower front of the car was obviously scraped and damaged as it was being unloaded but the pics they sent me never showed the damage before I had to sign via email. Thats on me because I had no one to check it out at drop off. If you use this business, you better make sure you get all of the details! Once they get your $ you're at their mercy! read more

Moving can be a hair raising event because there is so much to consider and how much everything costs can be too much. So when it comes to spending money for me the best anecdote has been referrals. Yes, I did my due diligence in looking at Yelp and other reviews but referrals provides me with the security and confidence that I need to finally choose a company to work with and to spend my money. I looked at several reviews and saw that All American Trucking and Transport Inc (All American) was on top and was stated as one of the greatest companies but they were costly. So when I sought out to find referrals the same company's name came up so now it was down to them and another company so let's see how the customer service and pricing pans out. All American and the other company pricing was similar but what won All American in getting my business was they provided a detailed estimate. The other company stated that they could lower their pricing but would not provide any type of detailed estimate which lost them the contract, I needed to be clear about what I was getting for what I am paying for. All American was pricey but their customer service was good. One thing to consider is as to where you live and if the truck can get the auto carrier to your location. In my case the street was wide open with no overhead lines but for their convenience they asked that I meet them at another location which was about 15-20 minutes from my home. They were professional it was easy and they provide me an Uber ride back home. They provided me an estimation of when the vehicle would be delivered which was about a week from dropping off the vehicle. I was able to continually keep in contact with the auto carrier (phone number) in addition to my All American Rep (phone and email) so between the two there was a vast amount of communication about my vehicle and its delivery. The vehicle was delivered as promised and without any damages. Usually there can be issues once you can begin driving a vehicle depending upon how they position and secure the vehicle on the auto carrier but I'm proud to say that all is well.
