Anniversary party with gear demos, food and fun!

Earth Treks in Golden is my home gym, but I have also been to the ET Englewood (huge walls and tons of routes), Movement Boulder and Baker locations too. Due to the merger with Planet Granite/El Cap Gyms, membership to one gets you access to all the amazing climbing terrain. The amenities are amazing- lots of smaller practice walls and instruction areas upstairs, along with a fitness room/yoga studio. The cardio/weight room is well-equipped and doesn't seem to get overcrowded. One of the best parts is all the classes you can attend with a membership or day pass- strength yoga, relaxation yoga, meditation, HIIT, Prehab/Rehab for injuries, intervals, personal training, etc. There are also free member clinics on things like whipper therapy, knot tying, and techniques. Paid classes are longer and are totally worth the money and cover everything from technique and movement to leading sport climbing indoors and outdoors, and self-Rescue. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. Everyone is willing to share their knowledge. And they do a great job fostering community with things like the Partner Project every Tuesday night where you can go solo and meet new climbing partners, and the Facebook trade a belay page that links up people looking for temporary or permanent clubbing partners. I highly recommend this gym if you're new to climbing or experienced. There are great routes for everyone alike on both lead and top rope. Safety is a huge priority here, and I feel much better climbing without seeing sketchy belay practices going on around me. A wonderful place for families too!

this is my home gym and my favorite climbing gym i've been to by far! the employees are very nice and even remembered my name. supportive and friendly members as well, i'm a beginner climber and am kind of intimidated sometimes at the gym but i find it easy to relax a bit here. the routes are somewhat challenging, but helping me learn a lot.

Addison and Ava with their instructor, Grant!

Always crowded but all the routes are super fun. A well managed gym. The training section and the top rope section are my favorite

They have a lap pool and they also have a warmer pool that includes a lazy river and a couple of lap lanes, along with the children's play area. We were there on a weekday afternoon well swim lessons were going on, but had plenty of space to use one lap lane and the lazy river. They have a set of steps to enter by the lazy river and they have a chairlift that enters into one of the lanes. There's also a hot tub that has steps with a rail to get in. In the family locker room there are two accessible changing rooms with a bathroom and shower, including a shower bench and adjustable showerhead. They have an automatic door opener, which is phenomenal, however, the lock is up pretty high, which makes it less accessible for wheelchair users, and short people. there are two other changing rooms in the family locker space that don't have the automatic button, adjustable showerhead, or shower bench, or grab bars on the toilet, but are still fairly large and have space for a wheelchair user There was plenty of accessible parking and automatic doors to get into the building. The space exiting was pretty tight due to how they have the chairs arranged, somebody with a larger wheelchair may have to exit through the entry lane. We also used the steam room, there was no automatic door, but the door wasn't terribly heavy. We've been to lots of rec centers in the Denver Metro area, and this is definitely one of the most accessible

I've been climbing off and on for about 16 years and really appreciate the attention to detail that Movement offers. Staff are always super helpful. Events are plentiful and if you're wanting to up your game with classes, even learn to lead or belay, they've got you covered. And, nothing beats a clean gym. Bathrooms are really well kept and there are always plenty of locker and cubby spaces. I also appreciate the many lounging areas, both inside and outside of the climbing areas. The layout is well thought out and you don't really feel crowded despite having lots of folks in the gym with you. Membership has its perks for sure and the punch passes are another great option if you're getting your feet wet. Love this gym.

The facility is quite large and has more bouldering and climbing space than the other gyms. It also has a larger fitness area, including a dedicated room for fitness classes and a dedicated yoga room. Given the extra space they are able to offer more class options as well. Pricing reflects other gym franchises around the country - you get what you pay for with Movement IMO, if you choose to take advantage of the many membership benefits available to you (e.g. special events, gear discounts).

I have damning proof that what I infiltrated on that fateful eve was in fact a mysteriously hedonistic assassins' training camp. Furthermore, I deduced that they specialize in scaling fortress and castle walls, for there is no conceivable reason to put so much effort into ascending those man-made, color-coded structures. I regret not having these assassins on my flank in the Battle of Lodi in 1796, we could've used their expertise on those ghastly walls. Though I question their fortitude in the face of adversity, because their main adversary is seemingly banal intangibles. Yes, I heard from their very mouths that they are after no king, army, or bounty, but rather the "work week" and "stress." I tried to assure them that these targets are far too elusive for any man of this earth to kill or capture. But alas, they persist, undetered by my warnings. Amusement aside, beware of these Movement assassins. Their battle cry is "everyone is welcome," consequently such an inclusive alliance is sure to enlist countless volunteers, and I fear that their numbers will soon swell to surpass even the army of Tsar Alexander. Their dress code evades reason and uniformity. Their ensambles remind me of the those ferocious Mamluks who we fought in the Battle of the Pyramids. And they partake in the most peculiar pre-mating ritual which they refer to as "yoga." They bend and move about in sacriligous gestures wearing only their undergarments. Disturbing as it is, it's working as they openly speak of their premarital sexual exploits openly. They must be stopped, for I overheard that they'll soon be pillaging some territory colloquially known as "Red Rocks." God save us, they are sweaty, persistent little creatures with an endless array of hydrating beverages to fuel their ravenous endeavors. They do have weaknesses though; their sentries show little concern for carriage parking, they have no calvary or artillery, and best of all, they get deeply offended by unsolicited instructions regarding where to put one's hands and feet upon ascending the man-made structures.

Little small, but otherwise I mean it's basically a perfect gym. Probably better for ropes but I…read moremean if you're not wanting to drive too far it's good.
