I've been to too many who give the generic "oh it's bc of poor posture and ergonomic set up" and that is not the case with Trish. I went in because of really bad neck and upper back pain and she took the time to listen to my history in order to properly diagnose the problem. I learned a lot about my body and the way it compensates for the anatomical asymmetries which has built up this pain for some time. She is also realistic in her expectations of the exercises she assigns, understanding your body will rebel by first assigning more manageable lying stretches and then progressing to advanced stretches in my later sessions. I highly recommend Trish. She is patient, really takes the time to listen to your issues to understand the root cause, then gives you a holistic approach to fixing the issues.

Hanna Prange and John Kim at Therapydia Queen Anne are the best I've ever worked with. Hanna excels not only in her domain knowledge but also in her work ethic, empathy, and patience. I came to her with severe arthrofibrosis and extremely limited range of motion (~30 degrees), the result of a post-surgery knee infection in China. I was fortunate that a friend who'd experienced similar conditions had worked with Hanna and referred me to her. Before my scar tissue debridement surgery (which my severe condition required), Hanna supported me with both her expertise and emotional encouragement. She exhausted every avenue to prepare my knee for the procedure, and my surgeon was genuinely impressed by how much range of motion she was able to recover even before the operation. Because of the groundwork Hanna laid, I came out of surgery with results that even my surgeon didn't expect given the severity of my condition. Post-surgery, Hanna and John collaborated on a tailored recovery plan that helped me regain roughly 140 degrees of range of motion - and I'm still improving. What truly set Hanna apart from the other physical therapists I had worked with previously was her willingness to explore various treatment options, her approach to tailoring care to each patient's unique situation, her persistence in root-causing issues and finding the right solutions, and above all, her calm presence and emotional support throughout the process. To me, a great physical therapist isn't measured solely by their clinical expertise - it's how much their patients trust and rely on them. By that measure, Hanna is the best! I am an aging jock, and had a chronic injury that had resulted from a chronically tight hip. In a few sessions she has gotten my hip moving in ways it hasn't in more than a decade. More often than not...no one is there at all. Appts can be significantly late, too often. Their billing Dept. and process though...what a joke. They have a written policy...that they break over and over. No statements, no record of treatment, no treatment codes, no explanations at all, in any fobrm/way. Months to get ANY info about costs...long after miltiple visits, again violating their own written policy! Have recieved TEXT MESSAGES ftom an unknown number as an 'invoice'...with a link to a random pay site. SCAM.. or new (super shady) billing practice that breaks every one of their policies??? Who knows!! But bro, trust me! VERY poorly run and managed business!

I wanted to share my experience at Union Physical Therapy, because I think there's a genuine…read moreopportunity here for growth -- particularly around how front desk staff interact with patients. My PT appointment happened to fall on an already difficult day. My doctor's appointment ran 30 minutes over (something entirely outside my control), which made me late for my scheduled visit. I called ahead, let the front desk know I was en route via Uber, and offered to accept a shortened session rather than cancel. What I received in return was a firm "no" and notice that I would be charged a $100 no-show fee -- for an appointment I was actively trying to make it to, that would have only cost me a $40 copay. I understand that late policies exist for good reasons, and I respect that. What gave me pause was the complete absence of flexibility or empathy in how the situation was handled. Healthcare is rarely a straight line -- delays happen, systems are complicated, and patients are often already navigating stressful circumstances by the time they arrive at a PT office. A 5-minute conversation that acknowledged that reality would have gone a long way. There's also a certain irony in a physical therapy practice -- a field built around patience, recovery, and meeting people where they are -- having front desk interactions that feel more transactional than compassionate. Bedside manner isn't just for clinicians. The front desk is often a patient's first and last impression of a practice, and that interaction sets the tone for the entire care experience. I'm not writing this to be harsh. The therapists themselves may be wonderful. But I'd encourage the practice leadership to invest in training front desk staff on de-escalation, patient communication, and the kind of grace that makes a difficult healthcare journey a little more manageable. Patients who are trying to show up -- even imperfectly -- deserve to be met with some of that same effort.
