I've been to too many who give the generic "oh it's bc of poor posture and ergonomic set up" and that is not the case with Trish. I went in because of really bad neck and upper back pain and she took the time to listen to my history in order to properly diagnose the problem. I learned a lot about my body and the way it compensates for the anatomical asymmetries which has built up this pain for some time. She is also realistic in her expectations of the exercises she assigns, understanding your body will rebel by first assigning more manageable lying stretches and then progressing to advanced stretches in my later sessions. I highly recommend Trish. She is patient, really takes the time to listen to your issues to understand the root cause, then gives you a holistic approach to fixing the issues.

She is also supportive when working with other health care practitioners. The work I have receive has helped me regain range of motion in my shoulder after a car accident. She continues to support shifts with awareness exercises. I highly recommend working with Sarah. Note: If you are new to Feldenkrais it is something be patient with. Somatic education can take a session or two to integrate, but then the body shifts in ways that may be more sustainable than traditional PT work. This was the case for me.

Hanna Prange and John Kim at Therapydia Queen Anne are the best I've ever worked with. Hanna excels not only in her domain knowledge but also in her work ethic, empathy, and patience. I came to her with severe arthrofibrosis and extremely limited range of motion (~30 degrees), the result of a post-surgery knee infection in China. I was fortunate that a friend who'd experienced similar conditions had worked with Hanna and referred me to her. Before my scar tissue debridement surgery (which my severe condition required), Hanna supported me with both her expertise and emotional encouragement. She exhausted every avenue to prepare my knee for the procedure, and my surgeon was genuinely impressed by how much range of motion she was able to recover even before the operation. Because of the groundwork Hanna laid, I came out of surgery with results that even my surgeon didn't expect given the severity of my condition. Post-surgery, Hanna and John collaborated on a tailored recovery plan that helped me regain roughly 140 degrees of range of motion - and I'm still improving. What truly set Hanna apart from the other physical therapists I had worked with previously was her willingness to explore various treatment options, her approach to tailoring care to each patient's unique situation, her persistence in root-causing issues and finding the right solutions, and above all, her calm presence and emotional support throughout the process. To me, a great physical therapist isn't measured solely by their clinical expertise - it's how much their patients trust and rely on them. By that measure, Hanna is the best! I had gotten PT on the East Coast, and it mainly involved 5 minutes of them doing some half-hearted manipulation and then making me do reps on some machines. Karen went WAY beyond. I am an aging jock, and had a chronic injury that had resulted from a chronically tight hip. In a few sessions she has gotten my hip moving in ways it hasn't in more than a decade. Hard pass. The physical therapist over-worked my limb consistently to the point where one Sunday I…read morecouldn't straighten it out or exert it. It was weirdly tweaked. This was after I asked if I was being assigned too many reps because I suspected I was sore in not good ways. After that Sunday issue resolved, I started tracking how often I had issues after a PT visit. There's stretch and then there's strain. We had this convo and still my limb was overworked. Now at a different PT and it's enlightening. Also, the business side of this place is a wild ride. First, everything is in text. EVERYTHING. You can't call in and make an appt. You can leave a msg and they'll text you. And then you text them back. And then they may text you back... This was really inefficient on my end. I can't imagine it isn't on theirs as well. At your first appointment, they scan your driver's license because "it's required by law." No. No, it is not. And if insurance was worried about scammers/substitutes, they'd put a pic on our cards like Costco does, so I don't get why they wanted to scan my license. I refused and the office manager ok'd it. Also, the office manager was there when I asked to see their privacy policy. They couldn't produce it but said they would the "next" visit. They were never able to produce a privacy policy and that IS actual law (FEDERAL law to be exact) and not a new law. BTW, the intake form requires everyone to check a box that they've read the privacy policy. I told them I would check it with the understanding that they would show me a privacy policy at my next appt. May seem minor but it's indicative of how a medical office is run IMO. Re: the place. The physical place is great. Clean, comfortable, welcoming, with decent parking. Re: therapist. I may have just had a bad therapist for my issues. Glad I moved on. Re: the office issues. Hard pass.

I came in completely frustrated about a back issue that was making daily tasks hard. I came out knowing an old ankle injury was the cause and with a plan on how to move forward. And, I have seen considerable progress within a week. The clinic felt more personal than many I've been to. I didn't feel like I was being slotted into a 30 min slot with the therapist needing to move on. The therapist took time to talk to me, understand my background and previous injuries, and make sure that they were confident in their assessment. I really couldn't recommend more.
