Wish I could give 0 stars…read more This has been an absolutely terrible experience from start to (still not) finish. The manager is essentially nonexistent. He is never in the office, refuses to speak with me directly despite multiple requests, and all communication is forced through Jennifer. While Jennifer has been kind and genuinely tries to help, she clearly does not have the authority to resolve anything -- leaving customers trapped in endless limbo with no decision-maker. My mother passed away and had fallen behind on payments. While they initially worked with me to adjust the balance, the pickup process has been a complete nightmare. I have been chasing this company for nearly two weeks just to get a confirmed pickup date. The manager required payment by cashier's check -- which is perfectly reasonable -- but then insisted it be mailed so it can "clear," which makes no sense since cashier's checks are already guaranteed funds. This unnecessary requirement caused additional delays with no legitimate explanation. Calls are not returned. Follow-ups go unanswered. Promises are made and not kept. Nothing gets resolved unless you aggressively chase them -- and even then, the goalposts constantly move. What's most disappointing is the complete lack of empathy or urgency from management, even knowing the circumstances surrounding my mother's passing. Instead of compassion or professionalism, I've been met with unnecessary obstacles during one of the hardest moments of my life. This company created avoidable stress, wasted time, and emotional exhaustion on top of an already painful situation. Poor leadership, broken communication, and zero accountability. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business here -- especially if your situation is time-sensitive or emotionally sensitive in any way.

However, when Household Goods inspector left they started packing in such a disrespectful manner I can only relate to if my belongings were trash that they were disposing of. After asking them to handle my belongings with care they ignored me and continued to mistreat my belongings as well as roll their eyes and sigh as if I was in convincing them. They attempted to put wet basins, books, clothes, and fine china in one box without sorting the items, they put very little thought, effort, showed no attention to details by grabbing the first thing they seen and forcefully shoving items into a box regardless even if it was fragile. When I ask them to redo the job they continued to roll their eyes as if I was asking them to do something that was not included in their responsibilities. When I asked the packers to indicate details in the inventory they refused to do so, saying that they cannot go into details and cannot spend in my house more than two hours. Therefore, the inventory that they forced me to sign is INACCURATE AND INCOMPLETE. Also, when I wrote with my own hand in their inventory that my stuff that they packed is new and in the original packing they crossed it out they that I cannot write it. If something is going to be lost or damaged, it would be hard for me to prove what they put in the boxes because they mixed everything up, very expensive and comparatively cheap stuff, unworn shoes and handbags and those that I already worn without specifying what exactly is included in each box, making it impossible for any inventory to be accurate. When the packers dissembled the mirror and the dresser they told me that the driver should put it in his own inventory. However, when they packers disappeared (see below) the driver refused to do so saying that since the packers had packed the mirror he cannot include it in his inventory and bear a responsibility for items that he did not pack. The packers refused to provide cardboard boxes for majority of my items saying that they do not have enough boxes and just used boxes that I gave them. If I had not provided them with packing materials like bubble wrap, packing peanuts and my own towels, they would have put my mirror in a box without protective material inside and ship it like this. Te packers refused to repack the brand new glass table despite the fact that I explained to them several times that when I was buying the table the sales assistants did not properly pack the item. Since the packers refused to re-pack the table, the chances of the table being destroyed in transition from here to other state increased significantly. However, they replied that they do not have boxes for my glass table. After the packers disappeared without completing the inventory properly, the driver told me that most likely the glass is going to be broken since the packers had not bring a crate. I had to provide the driver and his assistant with all packing materials that I have and even had to give away my new towels that we had to put around our new furniture to protect it against scratches because the packers just disappeared without saying a goodbye. I do not think it is professional for packers to come without any proper packing materials and roll their eyes every time I ask them to pack the stuff properly and then run away. This is not my responsibility as their customer to provide them with everything. The packers told me that we needed to review the inventory and once we are done they will continue packing my stuff. After forcing me to put my signature on their papers and telling me that everything is 100% insured and I will get a 100% reimbursement even if the inventory is not complete and accurate, they said that they need to grab some boxes from their car and that they would come back to help the driver to pack my mattress and springs box, as well as other stuff that needed to be packed. However, he left and never came back. As a result, I was left with unpacked stuff. I will need to go to the post office and ship it to other state spending my own money. When I called Cardinal Van their representative Andrea told me that that since I already signed the papers nobody is going to come pack. As I mentioned above, I was told by packer Mat that he would come back to continue packing the remainder of my belongings that was left in the house and helping the driver with the furniture and mattress. Andrea was very rude and disrespectful not willing to help at all. She said that I have to pack the rest of the stuff on my own together with the driver. She even refused to give her last name because it was obvious that she is afraid to take responsibility. I even doubt that Andrea is her real name. As a result, I had to help the driver and his assistant to carry pack, carry in the truck all the bedroom set, table, mirror and spring box. Horrible job!

Beware!!!! Its laughable the name of this company…read more Before booking I told them I needed an adjustable base bed moved from upstairs and that it was very heavy. He said no problem, they do this all the time. He said he would bring a 3rd guy just in case. He stated they bring all the blankets/supplies for protection. I booked them. He has you Zelle his wife Christina. They were supposed to show up at 7:30 but didnt arrive until 8. He did communicate he was running late but blamed it on U-Haul. He showed up, was very nice and talkative. There was only him (Abe) and another guy. I asked where the third guy was and he said that there was no need that they could do it. They then took the mattress and had no cover for it so I had to find some plastic to use. Had he not said he had everything I would have made sure I had a proper mattress cover. Then they started moving the adjustable base. They damaged my floors and ceiling all the way down the stairs. The top of the stairs is completely dented in and the subsequent stairs are chipped beyond repair. He apologized profusely and kept saying "don't worry, I've got you, I'll get this fixed." He was extremely kind the whole time, he kept apologizing and kept promising how he was going to get it fixed. At the end, I ended up paying the entire fee with trust that he would come through on his word, his name is indeed Honest Abe. It all started out just fine, he messaged me the next day that he was working on getting someone to come. A date was set up, I rearranged my work schedule to accommodate when he could be here but low and behold he said that he needed to move the time to the next day. That night I found out that it needed to be postponed again. Since then he has not responded to any phone calls or text messages and it's been a couple weeks. This is extremely disappointing. For someone who calls himself honest please take a look at my summary: 1) Didn't show up at time HE set up 2) showed up with one less guy than stated. 3) didn't have the proper supplies as promised 4) Ruined 7 Stair Nose pieces 5) Chipped and dented my ceiling 6) Promised he would fix it. Sadly, Im not the first. There is another review on here that sounds extremely similar. Do not trust "honest abe"!
