I moved from Palm Desert to Santa Cruz and I am glad I hired true professionals to do the job. All the obvious (u-haul one way was already over $1000 for 2 days trip plus mileage, hire inexperienced labor to move my furniture, driving over 10 hours one way, guessing the best way to load or unload my furniture, etc) aside, these guys were very good at what they do. I honestly felt I got a bargain deal even after a generous tip. I moved heavy, nice and expensive furniture without thinking about stairs and narrow doors in a house on a hillside Santa Cruz. These guys assessed the best way to move the furniture, covered my wood floors and did a great job, very fast, very efficiently, very respectful and considerate. I have previously paid 3 times as much to "big" companies (employer paid for those moves) and I heard how others have to deal with insurance after losing their stuff or having it damaged in transit. Honestly, I was nervous as they are a small company, but they showed up on time, carefully loaded my furniture, got a lot into their truck and they arrived at the destination 30 minutes after my flight have landed as promised. These guys moved my baby grand piano for me with no problems! Jon wrapped my piano like a it was a baby with shrink wrap furniture pads, and cardboard. He knew exactly how to take off the legs & foot-pedals. Loaded up, Transported it, then put my piano back together. I paid DLP $250 and other companies wanted $300-$350! The guys from DLP did a great job moving a large shed on our property. It was previously blocking a beautiful view on our property and rather than tear it down DLP was able to move it so we can still use it for storage etc. I wasn't sure the shed would survive a move but DLP moved it and kept it intact!
