The end result is that All American Waste will take no responsibility for the damage to my car even though they broke CT law by not clearing the snow and ice off their truck. When they arrived, they told me it was going to be almost double what I had been quoted over the phone. When I told this to the guy who seemed to be in charge, he said it's because the phone quote is from corporate and they don't know the local rates. This was total BS and I pushed back. He then told me he'd do the job for only $30 more than the original quote. Since I needed to have the junk removed and they were there, I agreed. I paid by credit card, but didn't get a receipt for services. I don't appreciate the bait and switch business practices and would never hire them again. BTW, these guys have probably never seen a college and are far from "hunks".
