I have been to the LA Philharmonic Walt Disney Concert Hall several times to see/hear different genres of music from ballet, to symphony, to jazz, and of course classical music, and during the holidays they give a great performance by their choir. Those of you who know me, know I love classical music and do have my favorite composers: Chopin, Vivaldi and Mozart. On Sunday, March 29th at 7:30pm my friend and I went to see Strauss, Bruch, & Moussa's elegant, classy performance that shook up the whole entire venue and the audience. It was just MAGNIFICENT! 10/10 The venue itself is STUNNING! Glamorous and easy to navigate all the aisles. Our seats were very comfortable and you can see the stage from any corner/angle since the theatre is not that big. Also has balcony seating. Tickets were $50 a piece not including tax. It has a beautiful gift shop, garden, different restaurants all around the building, and a small store where you can purchase some beverages and snacks. Overall, a GREAT performance and we both had a lovely time. Parking is $10 with few an entrances and few restrooms for both men & women. Thank you all for another AWESOME performance!! Will definitely return again next time I get a brochure or pamphlet in my mail.

The performance was even more amazing than we had imagined & so lively! Music | The LA Phil was incredible! The sounds of the different instruments, made a beautiful melody! The soft, beautiful, magical, fairytale-like sounds, as if butterflies are fluttering about were my favorite! I especially love the sound of the flutes! It was also incredible hearing the powerful, booming sounds, as the musicians played fiercely! It really stirred up excitement inside & made my heart race at times! Performance | Elim Chan & Masabane Rangwahasha | 100% fabulous! They were both incredible! It was amazing seeing a female conductor lead with so much passion, grace, as well as excitement! It's as if she was doing a beautiful yet powerful dance! Hearing the beautiful voice and talent radiating from Masabane, as she sang opera was mesmerizing! She stood confident, poised & proud and was a sight to be seen and heard! Walt Disney Concert Hall | Magical! I loved all of the curves and shapes of the building, both inside and outside, as well as the majestic shades and colors throughout! Drinks & Bites | I was excited to see refreshments, as I know, we were going to eat afterwards, but a light bite was perfect! I enjoyed a few bites of my chocolate brownie & my friend and I had a glass of red wine! Our bartender was awesome! I believe he was located on the fourth floor, personality plus, thanks again! Also, eating is only allowed in the lobby areas! Intermission | 15-20 Minutes! Overall | I'm super excited to return for future performances at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, as it truly was a magical experience!

We sat in row C West seats 9&10, isle seats. Great seats, I think you could see anywhere in this theater. Closer to the floor is more interactive for the littles. I would say next time I want to sit in row B North near the doors where the actors come in and out they tend to gather there and little ones would love this. This play/musical was so good it had me thinking about it days later. Park at 222 North Orange and pay $1 with validation. You have to walk up the street a short distance to the theater. We throughly enjoyed it!

Everyone gave it their all, and you could really feel the passion. Sat in the second row nearest the stage, "best seats", and they were totally worth it, but I think from any spot in the house you'd have a good time. My favorite play was Love Loves a Pornographer - i can watch it over and over again. but I'm baffled by the fact that I missed Brothers Karamazov....seriously, it almost makes me wanna cry. They spend their days talking chit about the crabs that got out, the ones who couldn't take it, and the losers who still live among them. When a new crab arrives filled with hope and change, they are faced with who they once were and their incessant dream of getting the shuck out." Clever little story where knowing a little Spanish and even Yiddish enhances the word play. Crab costumes are whimsical. Go soon since it closes mid August 2023.  The Atwater Village Theater is a multiplex with 3 small 99 seat or less nonequity theatres. Since many people did not want the front seats we had ring side seats to get up close to the actors. The seats seem well banked so there should be no line of sight problems unless you're seated behind Madge Simpson. Purchase refreshments at the reception counter although we didn't take advantage since we ate before at down home El Ruby Mexican about 6 car minutes away. Also we went on a Monday night which was discounted to sweeten the deal.  Small parking lot is available just to the right of the theatre as well as a large parking space to the right of nearby Momed restaurant. Street parking is limited.  Fun weekday night out for in person story telling entertainment. 4 stars.

There were a few funny moments early on but it gets extremely serious. One measure of a show's success is the conversation it sparks afterward. Too bad ours was more of a "What the hell was that? The space is beautiful, clean and modern and just good energy. The theater seating was set up with every seat having a great view. *The Bar: Prices were fair and compare to the rest of york... BUT the bartenders were super kind... so extra points there. You can also take your drinks into the show, so you can keep the good time going. *The Show: The show itself was the perfect outing. We were able to contribute improv ideas, so that was exciting. Fairly priced tickets, but a beyond expectations show. Honestly, super funny. The performers worked really well together, and stuck to their character. We cant wait to go back. *After the show: You still can grab more drinks from the bar, but we decided to step right outside and grab some tacos from the La Estrella taco truck. *Overall: It felt like a complete night out. Drinks, a show, and dinner. Highly recommend.

I wasn't looking forward to this because I was exhausted,, but hubby bought tickets and it was a great and lively evening listening to Western Standard Time Ska. Their front act was a great start. My apologies to them - I don't recall their name, but will revise this post when I find out. I love the water jug and cups readily available. Go, go, go!

For my 1st review of 2026, I choose the legendary venue The Lodge Room because it has hosted…read moreeverything from kick ass concerts, to wrestling, and comedy shows that featured everyone from DEFY Wrestling to POPPY and Dave Chappelle through the years of its continuing lifespan. Now, this area is pretty cool all around because they have random stores, bars, grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Parking can be a bitch, but that's life telling you to get to your event a little early. After 9pm, I believe it's FREE. When I saw POPPY perform here years ago right after COVID, it was my first concert here and this place is dope because you're literally so damn close to the artist(s) you watch because the stage isn't too high. The acoustics, bass and all around sound here is NICE for a small, intimate venue. ALL of the workers I've met/interacted with were all so damn nice and helpful as much as they can. This place also has a nice restaurant inside from what I've seen and NEED to check out in the future. I was blessed to even hang out at their Green Room for a gig and it's just so damn cool to know that Dave Chappelle and others have been inside the same room before and after shows!
