My family has been going here for over 25 years. They always take care of us and are extremely friendly and helpful. My husband has used this pharmacy for years. I honestly thought at some point it may actually get better. NOPE! I'm so irritated right now that I feel a long overdue review has to happen now. This place consistently has issues with my husband's prescriptions. It seems they never miss a chance to make the transaction as DIFFICULT as possible all the while making him feel like a criminal just for getting the meds he's been prescribed FOR YEARS. Same doctor. I'm updating my long overdue review now and I REALLY WISH I COULD GIVE THEM NEGATIVE STARS. I've been going to them for over a year now and every time I try to pick up my medication, they make me feel like a drug abuser or something??? I have been seeing the SAME doctor and had the SAME insurance and the SAME medications for the time I have been giving them my business. I read the reviews for this place at first and I mistakenly ignored them. TERRIBLE DECISION!!! I thought that if I were kind to them, they would be back-- but that was not the case. I always had to call them SEVERAL times on the day on my refill and they ALWAYS had a problem with my refill when it's literally been the same!! I truly cannot express just how livid I am with them and especially their unwarranted RUDENESS. I'm not even finished with my sentence while on the phone with the woman and she keeps saying BYE BYE BYEEE in the rudest tone while trying to hang up. They have caused me to MISS MY REFILL dates as well as confused me on them which messed up my travel plans (had to cancel plane tickets) AND I had to go days and even a week without my medications, which caused me to have psychotic episodes and I even felt like MY LIFE WAS ENDANGERED while being without my anti-seizure medications!!! WHATEVER YOU DO, AVOID THIS MONEY-GRABBING AND SELF-SERVING PLACE AT ALL COSTS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND ***SAFETY***. I will never give this place business again. The woman who works there is just down right wretched and rude. Me: Hi, I'd like to pick up a refill for xxx Her: You don't have any refills. Me: Can you double check, I'm pretty sure I had my prescription plus one refill and only picked up the original prescription. Her: I'll check, but you don't have a refill. Me: Well, I think I do so can you check Her: Fine, I'm checking. She then turns around, mumbles something to the pharmacist and starts grabbing pills with her bare hands and filling up a bottle. Me: So did I have a refill Her: (in an unbelievably annoyed tone) I'm filling it for you. Me: Did I do something to upset you She then rolls her eyes at me. WTF?!? Sadly after 3 + years of using this pharmacy I chose to find another one. First the pharmacist, Minh, is one of the best (he gets 5 stars). The same can not be said about the clerk in the office, Tina. She is rude and condescending and is just a horrible person to deal with. I always tried to be nice and say hello and ask how she was. Sometimes she would not even look up from her computer and would just grunt! GRUNT!! at a customer! I honestly do not know how she has kept her job for so long. If she was my employee, and I read some of the reviews on Yelp, i would realize I have a problem employee and address it. I have asked around, and everyone knows that she is like this, yet nothing is done. Well now i have found a new pharmacy, because I couldn't take the rudeness anymore. Definitely the worst Pharmacy in the area. The woman that works at the front desk is extremely rude and judgmental, and the pharmacist is very similar. There is no reason to put up with that kind of behavior from a pharmacy when there are so many other pharmacies around. They might fill your prescription more quickly because they don't have very many customers, but Capsule Pharmacy on Mowry is so much nicer cleaner and friendlier. WOW, 2 whole stars!! LOL I think I can bring that average up a bit. I don't think I had to deal with the same evil lady the two other yelpers spoke about. I actually was helped by the Pharmacist, a young Indian lady. She was super patient and went out of her way to answer my questions about my prescription. In fact, I decided to yelp her because she was so nice! Anyway, I also liked the fact that I didn't have to wait too long, because I had already spent about 2 hours at my doctors office and was so over the whole medical experience. I decided to go to this pharmacy this morning because it is close to my home... It was raining... and I didn't feel like making my way to Walgreens. I went in looking for some band-aids. Their selection is small but the products they have are good quality and the price is about average. I was low on funds and did not have any cash on me...... But I really needed these band-aids and some sort of cleanser or cream for an infected burn that I have. I asked the lady at the register if it was ok if I paid using two different cards. She said yes. I explained that I could only charge so much on each card. I didn't think this was going to be a big deal. The lady didn't really listen to me I guess and charged the wrong amounts on the wrong cards. She acted like there was nothing she could do to go back or fix this mistake. Also she made me feel very uncomforatable by showing signs of obvious irritation when I asked her if she could try something else or if there was anything she could do. Bottom line: I ended up leaving with only band-aids because the other thing I wanted to buy cost more than I could charge to my other card.... ( it would have worked if she had listened to me and charged the correct item to the correct card). I didn't get what I needed because this lady had a rude atitude and was too lazy or just unwilling (for whatever reason) to help me. She was more concerned with making a " mess of her register" than helping me. I guess customer service is not this places stong point. I don't think that the reaction that this lady showed me was warranted.... Because I didn't do anything to her, and only asked her to do things that any other store would have no problem doing. If she didn't want to do it. She should have said no in the begining. I would still recomend this little place, it's not that bad. Hopefully this cashier was just having a bad day and doesn't treat everyone the way she did me. read more

Horrible service! The person who answers the phone is the most rude and obnoxious person in the world. And when you go to pick up your items she acts like she is doing you a huge favor too. I spent $60 on items at this place one time and she grunted at me. Sheesh! It happens to be not far from my uncle's house so I go there, unfortunately, to pick up his medications and other items he might need. I have to encounter this witch every single time. Can't they find a clerk who is nice and polite? It must be someone's nasty relative who needed a job. There is just NO advantage to going to this place unless it's super convenient for you - stay away unless you really need the convenience because anywhere else would treat you better. Spend your money where they appreciate you. If I could give less than 1 star I would. read more
