I went in for a passport photo. The photo counter did not have coverage. The line built up and a cashier from the front had to come help us only to find out that their camera was broken with no eta. I had gone here for years because it's convenient, but the service has been hit or miss in the recent past. The pleasant, more experienced employees no longer work there. Lines are often long, and help is difficult to receive to unlock encased products. Employees don't seem happy to have to assist you for this purpose. Apparently, you have to spend your money and also tend to store housekeeping, as one of the cashiers asked me to "please put the handcart back" after my purchase. Photo department and customer service- I was enquiring about a product that had and had a horrible time getting through to people. The phone line kept on getting rerouted somewhere else in the store and when the workers there knew this, they kept on hanging up on me! If i wasn't getting hung up on, I was getting transferred and then rerouted, then hung up on. I had to call back 4 times. I finally got Tarangit who helped me and could answer my simple question. This is one of the worst pharmacies in the bay area by far. If you want an eternal hold on the telephone then to be hung up on, receive partial prescriptions (oh just come back tomorrow for the rest), or just waste your time while they don't fill or process your prescriptions, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! If I could give this place negative stars I would. Horrendous customer service by the pharmacy staff. I was there near closing time on a Sunday and wanted to fill my prescription. After giving me my medication, they moved onto the next customer without offering me a consultation with the pharmacist. I requested one as I was unfamiliar with the medication but she shooed me away since they wanted to leave. When I got home, I realized the medication was not the same kind I had requested from my doctor. I went back a few days later when I had free time to make the return since the medication had been unopened. They refused to accept it back, even when I asked to speak with a supervisor, and blamed me for taking the medication without having a consultation first to understand what it was. I told them I requested one but they didn't accommodate me. They basically said it's my fault and mentioned that's what I "get for coming in at closing time on a Sunday" and it's too bad so sad. The supervisor was literally arguing with me and using irrelevant points like why I waited so long to come back to make the return (didn't know days later was so long. I'm busy with work and my family, am I not allowed to have a life?), why I showed up to fill the prescription past 5pm on a Sunday (none of their business when I come in, if they're not closed and they are willing to serve me, that's not my fault), blamed the MD for his order, blamed me for accepting the order, etc. I told her it's irrelevant when I choose to come in to fill my prescription, if you guys accepted to serve me you should do your due diligence and provide the full service. If you couldn't do that you shouldn't have accepted to serve me to begin with. I said wow, you're really going to fault the customer for an oversight on your part? Really classy of them, right? Suffice to say they didn't refund me and I stormed out of there with my blood boiling. What a bunch of inconsiderate, lowlife scumbags. This place has terrible ratings for a reason, and they deserve every single one of them. Avoid this location at all costs, after years of coming here I'll finally be switching my designated pharmacy to a place with actual manners and courtesy. read more

The convenience store is the usual you would find anywhere and pretty standard so if you just need something quick off the freeway on Decoto Rd., then it's the place to go. However as of late, pharmacy has on average a 30 minute to 1 hour wait, it usually wasn't like this for years, but in the last year in 2022 and 2023, the waits are way too long. I'm not sure if the place is just understaffed or what, but service is usually quick so I'm perplexed sometimes at how crowded it is. My family also goes here and got sick of waiting so recommended going to CVS. read more

Who is the manager or owner of this location. The lady at the pharmacy is one employee no one should have she is to be replaced ASAP. Then the rest of pharmacy staff rudeness and unexpected response rules with patients are on going challenge. People are desperate to get their meds and after several attempts the idiot team will ask for an ID when you are on the system and have picked up confirmed and show ur phone digital ID. They will often say medication is waiting for your doctor to fill out forms. When u call your doctors office in-front of them they will confirm everything has been faxed back to the pharmacy. They will say oh let me look then they will find it and it's there but they didn't want to take that extra step. Laziness is word for this location staff. Also notice the pharmacy staff will gossip about patients if they pickup their meds and or not okay mentally. They laugh and make jokes of customers. Often they are giggling amongst themselves while the line is running long. The lady cannot spell or find any patients on the system she is so annoying. Is this the way to make people mad snd drive business out and create an empty store where no one wants to visit for quick pickup. Compare with other Walgreens in Fremont traffic line are heavy this one is empty and not sure what the manager or owner is acting so carelessly. read more

Was here yesterday for my booster shot. Everything went smooth and fast except that I just realized that I was not shown the vial showing the information of the vaccine that I'm getting. I thought it was protocol to do that? I was just shown what he wrote on my vax record card. I was not thinking straight yesterday why I did not ask. Stopped by Walgreens for their photo printing service and what should've been an easy 5-10 min photo pick up, was more like a 20-30 min WTH is going on here. I waited at the photo counter for quite sometime while there was at least 4 employees in the store ( 1 at the register, 2 doing who knows on the floor, and 1 more sitting at the photo counter who couldn't help me apparently.) Usually I would be able to pay for the photos at the photo counter (there's a register there), but the employee told me to get in line at the front register. That's okay with me, but since there was a line I was going to use the restroom first. She blandly told me where they were and I should've known when I opened the door to the back, that it was leading to somewhere I did NOT want to see. To put it very mildly, the bathroom for customers was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I would have rather used a porta potty at a busy music festival. I honestly don't think it has been cleaned in weeks if not months. Which is crazy, because it looks to be in their break room. Customer service here was also very depressing. Walgreens is a criminal operation. More in a moment, but first I'll just say that most of the floor staff are innocent and doing their best, and the pharmacy crew are among the kindest folks on earth. My issue is with corporate or IT or someone(s) at the organizational level. EVERYTHING in this store has THREE PRICES: 1) The shelf tag price. 2) The price shown in the Walgreens app. 3) The surprise higher price when you actually get to the register. This is NOT just a one-time thing, but a CONSISTENT PATTERN. I've brought the shelf tag issue to their attention...that time it was just a 20 cent difference and I'd let it slide, but wanted them to know it was "seen" and a recurring pattern. They just nodded and sighed and said "We are SO under-staffed." Today though...an item shows as $24.99 in app, and then a BOGO50 promotion...buying two should total 37.49 + tax at the register. Instead, they ring up at 31.99 each and NO promotion. I explain that's not right, not what's shown in the app. They give me attitude. "Where are you seeing THAT?" So I bring it up, zoom in on the price and the promotion. "Well that's wrong. They're $31.99 each." I'm trying to be polite and not go all Karen on them. "That's...like...bait-and-switch or something. You can't do that, it's literally against the law." They scan it again with their mobile scanner this time, which presents the item in the same Walgreens app interface...and it comes up at their scam price. I scan the SAME BAR CODE with my phone, it comes up 24.99 and BOGO50. "Well the system says 31.99," they tell me. "Okay, fix it," I say. "I can't. That's what the system says the price is." I try my best to explain that I'm not mad at them personally, that I know it's "the system," but this is a criminal act, the store is breaking the law with this price switch. They can't fix it, they won't get a manager, and a line behind me is starting to queue up and this needn't be their problem. So I put the items back and stepped outside and tried a different approach... Find item in Walgreens app. Make sure "show in-stock items only" is selected. Add two to cart for pick-up. Go through the app check-out, price and BOGO50 deal are correct as intended. I'll just wait in the lot for a few minutes while they pick up the same items off the same shelf, and I'll get a text message when it's ready, and pay the correct price. 15 minutes later I get a text, "Sorry, we're unable to complete your order and it has been canceled." I go back to the app, search for same item, it now shows as "Not sold at your store." The same item that's right there, on the shelf, that was in my hands just a short time ago. The ridiculous hoops they jump through to show one price and then not honor it. So obviously fraudulent. Everyone at Walgreens HQ deserves jail or worse. A curse on them all! read more

Do not take your passport photos there unless you want to look like zombies. The green tint is so visible and awful. I pity the TSA agents who have to look at it in the future. Absolute trash. First time customer but planning to switch pharmacy. Came in on Wednesday for a new prescription and was to be told came back 4 hours later for pick up. Came back 5 hours later and was told only 10 pills out of 120 was dispensed because we don't have stock. Please come back on Thursday, and the remain 110 will be available. Fast forward to today, Sunday (4 days later) came in and the tech after pulling up my name said, you have enough till tomorrow (and gave me a look like why am I here). He said we only have 100 out of 110 and I need to come back tomorrow. I asked why? He said the order was placed for 1 bottle (100 per bottle) instead of 2. I told him please give me 100 and was told partial fill is only allowed once by Walgreens system. 1. You own a 110 pills, what kind of logic is it to only order 1 bottle when each bottle has 100 pills. 2. The tech who helped on Wednesday said the prescription should have been ready by Thursday but now it's Sunday and still not ready! 3. Time is important to everyone. It's ridiculous that one needs to visit FOUR time for a common drug (not class 2). 4. I would have been okay if the tech today said, my apology that whomever ordered didn't order enough instead of never acknowledged the mistake until I asked why. All the bad reviews of this place are completely accurate. Trying to call them at any time of day - in the morning, afternoon, evening - is a joke. They don't even say hello, just "hold please" and then you're on hold for good. Answering phones has zero priority for them. I would give it a "0" star. They will messed with your prescription and you can't even get it fixed for a couple of days. I asked if I can have my GI medication refilled, that is due to be picked up and it's not an auto refilled and I have picked it up at multiple Walgreens before, and never a problem. And they said yes and to come back in an hour. However, at this pharmacist they not only screwed it up so you only have 2 days worth of medication, they messed it so bad, that the prescription is now locked and they have to contact the doctors office, that may or not response by Monday. And I can't even get it another pharmacy. And when I asked, they say maybe it's an IT prob, they can't do anything but maybe they will call about it on Monday. Because they are not concerned with why it happens, but it happens often because it's a different pharmacy even though it's still Walgreens, but they have no concern about finding out the cause or fixing it. I think it's not worth risking it. Especially, when they don't seem concern that there's a systemic problem. read more

Ugh, if only this wasn't the closest one to home, I would probably go elsewhere. I only come here for the convenience of the location. - Parking sucks - There are always homeless people sitting around the outside at all hours of the day - The photo department sucks. The Indian lady who works there is rude. I tried to show her that showing your ears in a passport photo is allowed per the government website, and she said go somewhere else then. Talk about losing business! - The Pharmacy is super slow. I made an appointment for the Covid Booster shot and even had my forms completed and printed with me to help speed up the process. I still ended up waiting for 45 minutes after my appointment time. Not even sure what the point is of the appointment... I think sacrificing some mileage and gas to go to CVS or a farther Walgreens location would be better than any experience here. read more

Pharmacy. I think since the Lucky' s chain moved all the pharmacy customers to Walgreens the service has gone down. Called 6 days ago to have a prescription filled. Check in with them they told me they did not have it and that they never recieved a request from me. They said i must have called the general "main" pharmacy line. Not i didnt. I spoke to the pharmacy on decoto.... Or so i thought. The tech said that part of the rx would be ready today. So instead of me picking it up..... In my past experiences at the pharmacy inside this Walgreens, it is typically VERY busy with long lines, out of stock prescriptions, and too few staff in customer service. But, it appears that the employees are always trying their best. Today, I called before going in and spoke to Tin. He was extremely professional and patiently explained the delay issue with my order. I went back after four hours at 7:30 pm and then they conveniently told me that the medicine is not available with them or any of the Walgreens and order from RiteAid. Absolutely lied on my face that they said they called on my number and it was not answered which I showed it to them that there was call or voice mail or even a Text message. So my patient has to wait for getting medicine for whole 24 hours because of these inhuman and totally in human people they have hired at the pharmacy. Worse service ever the Photo dep never has any rep, when asked in front cashier about Photo dep there was no response or acknowledgment. But yes the front cashier did page someone to attend Photos. The rep comes: I had a question so she jumps to next customer, no greetings maybe because she was having a rough day. In photo dep they didn't have usb wires for phone to connect to their system and the rep tells me I have to wait for the other customer to finish which could only take hrs. Next day same no one was at the photo had to get in line to get front cashier, cashier himself goes to photo to help and there was no one at the front cashier. Here came the same person to help, she started to finish the order pulled so doesn't greet and asked the person behind me last name.... Wasn't really sure if this was discrimination.
