I went into the dealership after seeing an internet price on a truck . We FINALLY got down to working our deal and to sum it up , they tell me that the vehicle was substantially more than it said on the internet and they were not sure who put that advertisement on the internet on THEIR website . And then they begin to tell me how they had to clean it up and that would add to the cost as well . This afternoon we took our 6 year old Edge in for a full service including a tire rotation. We only drive about 3000 miles a year so we take it in annually for service. We had a coupon from Moyer which we used. After a half hour the service advisor, Ms Rainwater, told us they would not rotate the tires because they are over age and they cannot legally do it. We were from out of town, 5 hours away and had to leave it there until fixed. We had an engine light come on in our diesel on our last day on holiday. Panic set in... we were created when entering g the service center. There were cars lined up and obviously busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Worst Ford dealership customer service I have ever experienced in 40+ years of owning Ford Mustangs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I took my Mustang to the Moyer Ford service department for a window repair. They told me it would take 1.5 hours. The repair was done in less than 45 minutes. When they presented the bill to me, it was for 1.5 hours of labor - $240. I took exception to paying $240 for 45 minutes of labor. They told me it was a fixed price job. It's one thing if it had been close to the 1.5 hours quoted but this was HALF the time. What a way to rip off loyal Ford customers! I asked to speak to a manager. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The General Manager came to talk to me. He had a bad attitude as soon as I started talking. He (very rudely) told me I had 2 choices. I could pay the bill as is or he would discount it to 45 minutes and I was never to come back to the dealership[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Wow - business must really be good! After being spoken to in that manner, I chose the reduced bill as I will never step foot in the dealership again even without being threatened by the GM. He went to the service department, got their story and sent me a long email trying to convince me that the original pricing wasn't just fair but a good deal. I simply can't say enough good things about the people at Moyer Ford! on 07/15/20, I first spoke with Alaina Andreasen and reserved my Ford Bronco. I would be moving from Birmingham to Orange Beach Alabama soon, and figured I might as well reserve my Bronco through Moyer Ford since they were in Foley since I'd be living in nearby Orange Beach when the Broncos would be making it to the dealerships. We'll, obviously there have been some unprecedented delays due to the Covid pandemi, but the people at Moyer kept me as up to date as possible on the progress of my Bronco. I was one of many who had to re-order a 2022 model, but Moyer didn't miss a beat helping me with my re-order and making sure everything went as smoothly as possible considering the circumstances. During this time, Alaina was promoted to Finance manager, so her husband Charlie who's also a salesman took over my sale with no problem. When my Bronco finally arrived, Charlie and the General Manager Pat Francis made sure that my Bronco was in perfect shape, cleaned up and full of gas while Alaina did a great job handling the financing. I would like to say a huge thank you to Pat France! For the third time, he has blown me away in the customer service he personally provides! He is a class act and I will always go to Moyer Ford for my Service needs as well as parts or new vehicles when the time comes. Thank you Pat! Today, I brought my wife's 2014 Explorer Sport with 156,000 mile on it in at 11:10. The techs go to lunch from 11:00-12:00, I just needed to scan the computer to see what the check engine code was for. Pat explained it would be $89.99 for the scan and blah blah blah, I told him to go with it. I really just wanted to know if the engine was about to blow or if it was something simple. He personally took it back, scanned, read and cleared the codes. Low voltage from the battery is all it was, so I probably need to replace the battery soon. Pat came in the waiting area, explained it and informed me it would be no charge and sent me on my way. My first experience with Pat was on a Saturday, my Excursion needed 2 new batteries and I had a boat in tow. The parts department was closed, but he stepped up. We walked back, got 2 batteries, I installed them in the parking lot and gave him the old ones. Pat told me to come back Monday to pay for them since he didn't want to deal with all that accounting stuff. I returned Monday to settle up and thanked him again. Summer 2019, my F250 needed 2 batteries, Pat took the truck back, tested the batteries, both were bad but his shop was backed up and couldn't get to it for a few hours. I asked if I could install them, in the shade of the service center entrance and he said go for it. 20 minutes later I was out the door. I am writing about the Service Department in particular. I have no opinion either way about the Sales Department. I have dealt with Moyer on two separate occassions: once for an oil change, once for recall work. The first time, they overcharged for oil never used, and did not perform a full inspection of the vehicle. The second time, they failed to inform me when the ordered parts were in, screwed up the appointment date, then failed to notify me when the car was ready. This is a very transient area, so they probably have a continuous flow of new customers, but my advise would be - go elsewhere! read more

I went in Ford to talk to a sales person to see if my radio was supposed to have changed screens (as in did it update itself). He proceeded to tell me that if I didn't purchase my car there and if I want any questions answered then I am to "take your car where you bought it". By the way I recently moved here and had purchase my car in Bloomington IN, which would make taking my car to its dealership a 900 mile trip. Whoa hold on! Leslie in the service department was on lunch or I'd have asked her because she is AMAZING.....but I highly recommend you NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership EVER....dumb salesman, you didn't realize we purchase nice cars frequently and he could have a future sale, he judged me by seeing me looking horrible from a run in the rain, assuming I am broke (aka not a sale) and not that I pulled up in a BRAND NEW Mustang GT!! They say dont judge a book by its cover, but obviously I didn't appear to be someone who could get him the commission he wanted. Sad part is my Father had driven down here to buy a very expensive new ford truck, guess who is no longer getting a sale from us! But go to the service department!!!!!
