Unexpected cool dive bar! It's kind of a dive bar, but kind of not. Place is pretty well kept and clean.. no interesting suspicious looking folks to be a true dive bar lol.. Dive bars are in.. because hipsters love old stuff - not run of the mill fancy bars.. true hipsters anyway. lol... Came here on a Sunday evening with the hubs to grab a few drinks and it was a tad pricey for a "dive" bar than expected. It was our fault not asking what was offered during happy hour.. our bad. Anyway, I ordered the Moscow Mule and it was delicious. Sundays at 6pm they have a live Jazz band playing at the bar and it was super chill. I'd come back - super chill vibe on a Sunday.

I love a good dive bar for all the wrong reasons - cheap pours, sticky floors and music so bad it's good. Mozart's is kinda sorta divey, kinda sorta not. One would expect a bit more kitsch, given the sign out front and the name. But when you walk inside it's just a bar. There's some laser lights and Wi-Fi jukebox. Plus darts and a pool table. No piano or mannequins in powdered wigs like I'd hoped. Drinks are stiff and cheap! A "regular" cranberry vodka comes in a pint glass and costs about $5-6. There's local beers on tap as well, seeing that it's Colorado and all. The bartender was very nice and made the random experience a little less weird. But overall I'd say that Mozart's was a bit of a letdown, given all the other great bars on Colfax like PS Lounge and Lost Lake.

    From local brewery! Really enjoyable!

Anybody who's come out of Colorado to become a big name has gone through those doors to play on the little stage. From local to traveling acts, from punk bands and karaoke talent to gritty stand-up and flirty burlesque, this place has it. If you're up for a night that doesn't stink of ordinary, swing through that creaky door and take in a most memorable evening. If there is a cover, it's usually nominal. Drinks are cheap, served by a great crew that's always up for a laugh and cheers. Sometimes hitting the town isn't about getting fancy but just kicking back, and this is a great place to do just that off the mainstream treads.

The interior is small but I like how the bar is set up kind of in a rectangle so you're actually facing some other people (maybe awkward, but feels more communal?) They had an inexpensive menu of basic beers. They were out of the drink I wanted so the bartender made me a creation that I guess is something the doorman likes - not bad, and I think it was about $10 which is pretty decent for a mixed drink. I noticed a big red counter/clock on the wall across from us and after a few seconds we deduced it was a decibel meter. I'm curious if they have restrictions here for noise - AOK by me. The volume was generally alright (a little loud but what isn't?) and they actually had a sound guy in the corner making sure the volume and quality sounded good. Overall had a very decent Saturday night here.

I went on a Friday night with my mom I'd just gotten my hair done and wanted to do something fun, a little fancy, and different from the usual dinner spot. It absolutely delivered. First: parking in RiNo is rough. Plan ahead. My reservation was at 8:30 PM and I arrived almost 45 minutes early just looping the area. Eventually found street parking but give yourself time so you're not stressed walking in. The exterior is beautiful mural artwork, elegant entrance, very polished. Once inside, you're greeted, there's coat check and the entire space feels intimate and elevated without being stuffy. It's romantic but not pretentious. I'd go here for a date, a birthday, or just to treat someone special. We did the three-course prix fixe experience (around $150 per person, 25% gratuity included -- that's required for reservations). It felt worth it for the full experience. Food highlights: * I tried the steak tartare for the first time. raw beef and egg, served in a crispy potato nest. Very outside my comfort zone, but beautifully presented and well executed. * My mom had the grilled octopus and loved it. * For entrées, I ordered the Branzino (10/10) and she had the duck she raved about it. * The risotto was slightly underdone but not enough to ruin the dish. * Dessert was a passionfruit tarte. very tart and tangy (true to its name!). * For my birthday, they surprised us with a vanilla dessert that was honestly incredible. Also worth mentioning: their non-alcoholic options are phenomenal. I had the "Kitten Heels" mocktail (10/10), and their non-alcoholic rosé genuinely tasted like the real thing. As someone who appreciates thoughtful zero-proof options, this stood out. The live music was the star of the night. The performers were incredibly talented! the vocals, the breath control, the instrumentation! it felt immersive. The only thing I'll say is the crowd was a little low-energy. My mom and I were the only ones really moving in our seats, tapping along, enjoying it visibly. I wanted more people to feel it! Overall, this is a beautiful spot for live jazz, elevated dining, and a romantic or celebratory night out. If you love cultural, artsy experiences and live music, this is absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back.

I went here with my sister for the Jesse McCartney show! I was so excited that he was coming to Denver and I've never been to this auditorium. They do have an upstairs with seating with tables, but you have to pay for that specific ticket. The rest is standing room only so like you're standing on the dance floor the whole time if you want to sit, I would definitely suggest purchasing a table. It is at one of the smaller venues, but I do like the open concept where there was plenty of space and all the angles were a good view. I would definitely go back to this auditorium. It is said that they unveil a brand new theme each year and this year's theme appears to be focused on some Eastern cultures such as cherry blossom and bamboo forest with pandas. Not that I have been to many lights shows and yet I must say that I have never seen anything quite like this as far as my recollection is accurate. In its 12-acre land, the installations of lantern lights are everywhere. After 8:30pm or so when it's dark, the illuminations from the lanterns are glowing brighter than Las Vegas' illuminations (LOL - why am I comparing this to Las Vegas!!) According to the park's website, some of the sculptures are 23-foot tall (such as the cherry blossom gate.) It's currently open from Wednesday through Sunday until October 5th. And last night's was one of the adult-only nights where you must be 21+ to enter (I believe the next and last such night is Sept 17th. And this writing is as of late August of 2025.) I am already curious as to what the next year's theme is going to be. There is a centralized bar, some food vendors, a stage where a performer performs, and a DJ booth. Great for family time, girls' night or date night. Helpful staff were working tirelessly to assist all visitors. Although about 1,300 tickets were sold last night, it was never super jammed packed. There is still time to visit this enchanting light show. Not only for the locals but definitely one of the must-visit attractions for out-of-staters as well.
