The karaoke rooms are a bit small but the tech in there is top notch! we paid for a private room and it was a bit expensive for the size :/ but i can't say it was not fun! We had a great night, until we didn't. The bartenders and staff were wonderful, and we were really excited for karaoke. We waited over an hour for our songs to finally come up in the queue, and once our group started singing, the woman running karaoke told us we were "ruining the night." She said people were leaving and not tipping because of us, even though we had only just started singing. It was incredibly rude, hurtful, and completely ruined our night. I've had great karaoke experiences elsewhere, but unfortunately not here. While the bar staff and other employees were kind and welcoming, the woman running karaoke made me cry and completely took away my confidence. If you're looking for a fun karaoke night with people who actually make you feel welcome, I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

Went for my daughter's 12th birthday and we had fun. The place was empty mostly but the emcee worked with us to get whom the people that were there to sing happy birthday. The service was really good but the prices are on the high side for what you get. And there is a service charge every time you buy something. The manager Brian was incredible, and DJ Elle kept the energy up all night and even performed with me, which made it extra fun!! I've been to Rumors many times and usually have a great time, but my most recent visit left a bad impression. The bartender came over to our group and told us that each person had to order two items or we couldn't stay--unless we paid a cover charge. That's never happened before, and it felt unfair, especially since my friend ordered three items and we shared two of them. What's even more frustrating is that it seems like the rules aren't applied equally. I've noticed the bartender shows favoritism toward certain customers and seems to pick and choose who has to pay a cover charge. It's disappointing because Rumors used to be one of my favorite places for karaoke, but the inconsistent treatment and attitude from staff really took away from the fun atmosphere read more

The guys equipment doesn't work. KJ Boston is not a great DJ. Honestly the people are the fun part, but this guy phones it in pretty bad. Go somewhere else for karaoke. UPDATE: this guy just sings over everybody. it's insane. Definitely would not recommend going when this DJ is working. Roll the price of the DJ into the drinks and food prices. Drinks are overpriced, waiting over 2 hours to sing a song when paying money just to enter an establishment is egregious. Won't be back. Easily the best karaoke bar in Denver since Armida's closed its doors. He wait can get long after around 9pm to sing so get in early if you want to sing multiple times. The cool part however is Dream Karaoke opens up at 9pm on the other side of the building so you can easily get to both. The food and drinks are great, definitely try the tacos. I was there Sat 12/13. The DJ in the Dreams room with she/her pronouns was being combative over the mic with a patron. It was definitely an unprofessional approach. Not only that but the DJ also put themselves in the cue but can't sing very well, so that was disappointing and a waste of a spot in the cue. read more

The song book is super limited and the KJ uses software that makes the show not flow very well. The KJ should probably consider using Karafunn or the like. As just a bar it seems okay but there's definitely better choices for karaoke around here. Also the bathroom seems to be perpetually out of toilet paper. read more

They have no accountability when something is stolen from their patrons. Paid for a private room, left my jacket on a hanger literally outside the room. My jacket was stolen, the ownership, Bryan, basically told me sorry but you're out of luck. He also shared multiple situations where other items were stolen. Poorly run, no accountability. DJ takes really, really long breaks in between songs. Been there 3 times, and each time I was there for 2-3 hours before I could sing. More of a night club with occasional karaoke thrown in. Great place to sing if you like Karaoke, my reason for 3 stars is the DJ took so LONG to get singers up there. Timing was about 10-15 min in between. Oh and he made sure he was up there singing himself every 4 songs. The waiting list was 20 people deep....paying customers waiting to sing. By the way the Bar staff was Amazing!!!! The worst experience I've had in Denver, Co! I came with friends all the way from California for the ACSM WORLD CONFERENCE... and decided one night to go out and do Karaoke with friends! We were greeted by a dope DJ! But the Bartender... THE BARTENDER decided to ruin our night(didn't get a name) by saying our California ID's were unacceptable! And that we needed passports for a valid Identification when our ID's were valid and not expired at all! We ranged from ages 22-26! We've been to many bars here in Denver and our California ID has been accepted everywhere! We felt very discriminated against! No valid logic for why we were kicked out only "you need a second form of Identification." Why would we have a passport if ID is the only Identification needed to fly Domestically? There was a packed house for a birthday party but David welcomed us at the door and walked us to the bar where Juanita was unscathed by the high volume and was genuinely focused on answering our questions and giving us time. David took it upon himself to be our tour guide for our first time in Denver and give us the run down.
