Ok, first ignore the reviews that this place is closed. They're now inside StrikeZone. Food was amazing. We unfortunately showed up on a nite during an event so we ate it in the bowling area of the restaurant. Even so, our server was on top of it. We had White Pasta (chicken alfredo)... Read a previous review saying they'd moved inside the bowling alley, so I was prepared for that. Walked in and didn't see a host/ess or a register to order. Wasn't sure what to do. Place was empty save for one party of 5. I bumped into someone in an orange shirt and asked if I should seat myself. It was my first time there, wasn't sure how it worked. He said to go ahead. So I did. Sat and waited for about 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, party of 5 was a little rowdy and loud and the music playing overhead was explicit and full of f-bombs. I'm in town on business, but craving pizza. After 10-15 minutes of not really being acknowledged and seeing staff walk in and out from behind the bar, I gave up. I was craving pizza, but I had no clue if or when I'd have my order taken, much less be served. I ended up going down the street and getting a burger instead. Not sure if the owners read this or not, but I could handle not being acknowledged, but the f-bombs coming out over the music on the loudspeaker were enough for me. Soooooo...I am not a pizza fan. I appreciate flat breads and bruschetta's but not big on pizza. With that said, I ate here while visiting my momma, her choice. I was surprisingly 'impressed.' Stopped by on a Sunday after noon a little before 2 pm. The place wasn't super crowded and it was very clean. We parked right in front, parking lot is shared with the strip mall and Vons but parking was easy. We ordered a caprese salad and a 12" margherita pizza. Everything tasted fresh and the thin crust we ordered was crunchy and tasty. I would get food here, again. Cool fact, in case it's not very known, all their proceeds go to the Imperial Valley ARC. Walk in the place and it was impressive we immediately got greeted from staff @ the bar :) checked out the menu which made it hard to not want 1 of everything! My bf & I had to go to Vons which happens to be located next door. Walking out of Vons we decided to try this place out. We were both delightfully surprised by this hidden gem! We are both pizza snobs given the fact that we've traveled to Chicago and we've tried Chicago deep dish pizza (the best pizza EVER). The pizza from this place was hot, flat enough for my liking, the crust was favorite part and the flavors all combined to perfection! We both got one slice and we were satisfied. The slices are bigger than average which we felt we got our money's worth. We also tried the gelato which we enjoyed as well. The place is located at an okay shopping center, parking can be annoying but we made do, clean restaurant, and friendly helpful staff. Five for service, four for food, rounding up. Homy, unsophisticated food, but no less tasty for that. I had the "Monday Special" white cream penne. Alfredo kind of sauce, thicker, less buttery, with chicken, black pepper, and something that looked like tiny little pieces of basil, but didn't taste like it. Quite good. I also shared a BBQ chicken pizza (I added bacon, of course), which was alright. The sauce is a little sweet, would've made more sense to go tangier or smokies since he added pineapple to the traditional recipe. The cookie dough gelato is really crazy thick, just sweet enough to not be cloying, with big chunks of dough rather than it melding with the ice cream. Not like that frozen tasteless stuff at other pizza joints. Toppings=tasty abundance Service =fabby We both had "side" salads that were $4 and they were fresh and pretty big for the price. Okay. So Mozzarelli is a different take on pizza but nothing really special to blow me out of the water. And honesty in regards to flavor, Dominos blows Mozzarelli out of the water. Why such a review? I had a half/half pizza of the Sinatra and the Aloha. For me, the Ham was not flavorful, and the sauces did not pop. The crust severely lacked salt and just tasted plain. The Roma tomatoes were fresh which I appreciated, however lack of salt throughout the pizza sauce as well as the crust killed it for me. This place can be very special, they just have to fix their execution. It's not horrible but I think I would rather have Dominos or Pizza Hut next time. read more

"Pizza is good, service...not soo good." I called to order a large pepperoni pizza, about a week ago, the girl that answered the phone gave me the final price and I realized it was more than normal. So I asked her why, she said that has always been the prices of the pizza. So i said, ok just give me the large pizza. I went to pick it up. Took 35 mins for the pizza to be ready... then she is like here is your medium pizza. I was like "what?" She is like, you ordered the pizza that was for about 9 dollars. So apparently they increased prices overnight. I told her...i had ordered a large. Not a medium. So she is like...well you have to wait 20-25 mins. My lady and I went in for lunch, and even though they took a while to take our order and give us our food (due to lack of staff, the cook had to take our order), the food was top notch. Very fresh, hot, and the pizza slices are like two regular slices put together. They offer a lunch special (valid all day) for $5.50, which consists of your choice of two items, from 1. Slice of pizza (cheese or pepperoni only), 2. Salad, and 3. Three wings of different flavors. It also comes with a 24 oz. fountain drink. Lack of staff hindered service, even though we arrived with very few people there (they open at 12). As it got 15-20 past 12, people started coming in and service slowed to a crawl. Again, not dinging them for that, but they do need to hire some more workers for lunch time at least. Overall, great place for pizza. Local businesses stay afloat from local dollars! Help keep this place open and try it out next time you are craving pizza or gelato (perfect for the summer heat). read more

My wife and I really and truly love this place. Fresh ingredients remind me of my favorite places overseas and rare here in the US. She gets a medium Margherita Pizza and I get a large the El Trio (meat). We eat some there and bring the rest home for snacking later and lunch the next day or so. We have done this multiple times since it has opened and the pizza is by far the best in the Imperial Valley and then some!!! Stopped in with the family for pizza and salad. I ordered a margarita pizza the alessandra pizza and a chef salad and everything was great! The chef salad was delicious. Nice big portion and generous amount of cheese, bacon and olives plus all the veggies looked and tasted fresh. Both pizzas were very tasty as well. They also have a gelato bar with a good selection. We got strawberry, pistachio and spumoni and they were all so good and refreshing. The restaurant was clean and cool inside, plus the staff were all friendly and attentive.
