Sofia's in Brawley has a really cool vibe. The ambiance is great and the decor is very unique, especially the neon signs and the greenery wall which make the place feel lively and fun. The bright pink entrance is also a nice touch and makes the spot easy to recognize. They also have a bar, which adds to the overall atmosphere if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends. The staff were amazing during my visit. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and welcoming which made the experience even better. The food was decent, but my salmon salad was a little on the salty side and the salmon didn't taste as fresh as I expected. Hopefully it was just an off day. Overall, it's a great place for the ambiance and service. I'd definitely come back and try other items on the menu. read more

Omg how is this place open!!! So my husband and I stopped by just cause it looked packed and music playing. But I walked in and they said to sit anywhere so we went outside. First mistake no ok never came.. like ever.. so we got up went in side. The waitress came quick and served the chips and salsa. Second mistake, as we're eating we noticed the tower of prefilled baskets of chips on the counter with flys all on them. Third mistake, she came back to tell us they had no diet anything so we just got water. We order garlic shrimp and fish tacos and carne asada tacos. She comes back to tell us they had no carne asada tacos 4th mistake. Yes, fifth mistake, the fish tacos come out and they were raw inside! The rice tasted old and microwaved. Nothing tasted good like literally nothing we both didn't finish. We just got up and paid and left will never be back. New location! First time here. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. They have a full bar with beer & cocktails. Plenty of indoor seating. Some cute backdrops. Casual attire. We sat down and we're told someone would help us. We waited 25 minutes and no one came to ask us for drinks or give a menu. The waiter assisted the table next to us and we flagged him and asked for a menu. Waitress came about 10 min later. We ordered Ceviche camaron (shrimp) tostada, Taco sofi, fish and shrimp tacos. The ceviche was a nice portion, very tasty and fresh and we were able to make 3 tostadas. My Taco Sofi was a nice large portion served on 2 tortillas with a green chili with cheese. Topped with pulpo (octopus) & camaron (shrimp) sautéed with red & green peppers & onions. It comes with marlin also but I requested not to have. It was very tasty, definitely a must try with a kick to it. The fish & shrimp tacos were a good size. I am sorry I forgot to take pictures but my Family really enjoyed them and said they would order again. Nice place and I would definitely come back again. I recommend they be more attentive when a customer arrives. Once food was ordered it came out promptly and waitress was nice. read more

Was craving seafood and ordered Pescado a la plancha and the food was good but we really couldn't enjoy it fully because the band playing was way too loud. according to my smartwatch it was 110 decibels. who can eat let alone hold a conversation. My advice, go early before 7 pm to be able to enjoy the food and ambiance. read more

Poor customer service waitresses are lazy to bring you the stuff that goes with your food. In example I order a cocktail shrimp didn't want crackers but wanted the table chips. I finished my cocktail and still the chips never arrived. I asked her politely for the chips, she said wait I'll get them right now. Because she rather fixed a tv channel that no one requested. On the food side; was only literally 6 shrimps and my medium cocktail. Ridiculously all veggies. Hot sauce was requested to that same waitress and she mentioned unprofessional the hot sauce that you see on your table that's all there is. Didn't even bother to see or try to offer any other. Food quality is no longer good! We used to order their Tostitos preparados but now they are not served like before and the quantity is alot less for the price. My wife and I went for lunch and we enjoyed our meals. The place is nice, the staff was attentive and the food was fresh and tasty.

It was understaffed durning lunch rush which caused over an hour wait to get food. And ended up getting food poisoning from tacos.
