I work 12 hr shifts on my feet , Mimi, made sure to truly exfoliate my calloused heels & get all in growns fixed Nail wise.My feet were transformed into soft &smooth & feeling great again. The package included so many things i've never experienced in a pedicure before and it felt so nice; There was hot wax in two forms (a candle and paraffin wax), clay, orange slices, a warmed shoulder compress, and salt scrub. So luxurious! My sister got gelx extensions on her toes from Grace and she was also very happy with the results. A couple of older auntie employees including the owner/manager, were loudly watching videos on their phones, yelling across the salon to each other, and eating pumpkin seeds throughout my appointment. The constant cracking of the seeds, loud videos, and shouting made the environment anything but relaxing. I've overlooked the limited nail color selection because I've otherwise enjoyed coming here, but experiencing this twice was enough for me. A nail salon should feel calm and professional, and unfortunately that wasn't the case. As a regular customer, I'm disappointed to say I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I used card and they combined both the nails and toes into the final charge which makes sense. I started to fill out the receipt and left a 20% tip on the total. The nail tech came up and asked me if the tip I left was for each person. And I tried to explain that it would be split between them both. She then asked if I could do the 20% of the total for each nail tech. Major mouth drop from me - I've never had someone ask me to tip them more. I'll give it to her that it was bold ... but it felt like she was bullying me to get more money out of me. 20% on the total is a great tip and I feel like it should be up to the salon/business on how they want to split that between the two techs.
