    drainage system, 1 of 4
    AJ P.

My wife and I are updating our home and found mold in 2 rooms. We found MPB Restorations and Services on yelp and Joey responded quickly. Joey identified the issues, sources of problems, and proposed solutions. In our case, our solution included water diversion outside our house. Joey and team added drainage around our house, then he removed the mold, repaired/removed/replaced damaged wood, new drywall, and added preventative measures in case of future moisture exposure. We really appreciate how Joey is very collaborative and transparent in creating solutions that fit our budget and timeline. This guy truly cares about the quality of work he puts out. We are 100% satisfied with our results. We would definitely use MPB Restorations again. (photos of drainage system dug around our home. We plan to fill with more rock soon)

Although he hasn't actually done any work yet, he spent a significant amount of time on the phone with me, explaining things, and that counts for so much....thank you! I would highly recommend atleast talking to G & O Waterproofing before you make a final decision as to who you are going to use. My first impression is they are a A+ / 5 star company and honest. Living by the beach made us susceptible to overbidding subcontractors trying to take advantage of the unassuming and desperate homeowner. Omar came over and gave me a FAIR bid not knowing what he would find underneath my 40 year old deck. He found layer upon layer of cement and materials that needed to be demolished. The deck was on my 3rd floor and the crew had to enter my home to get to the location. They were respectful, professional, timely and communicative. They advised me on what to do both before and after their job and is still available via text or phone. If you have ANY leaks and are in need of a waterproofer - CALL OMAR at G & O. You will no longer stay up in the middle of night worrying about where your leaks are coming from because your house will be sealed! This was my first interaction with a waterproofing expert that could own that title. Leaking deck? CALL OMAR.

He walked around the property and broke down the different drainage solutions while answering our questions. He made it easy for us to understand each option. We did get quotes from other vendors but ultimately chose Professional Drainage Experts based on the customer service and willingness to work to find a solution for our property that was in budget. We were able to get a full system added to the property in 3.5 days. Julio and his team were great! They were promptly on time each morning. Cleaned up after themselves. Even hosed down the driveway, stucco, and walkways afterwards. After everything was installed, Julio walked us around the property and explained all of the elements of our new system. For what feels like a draining home project as a first time home buyer, Foster and Julio made the process feel less daunting and stressful. Highly recommend. 10/10

Their estimator, Foster, was alongside me throughout the job process with any questions or concerns that I had. Before the job even began, he ran through several scenarios with me and was very patient. He understood my objectives both as they related to aesthetics and my pocketbook. In the end, we came up with a plan that was viable and as aesthetically pleasing as could be managed given the situation. Once the job began, the primary person of contact shifted to Julio, one of their project managers. He was on property every day supervising and working alongside his crew. The crew was very polite, hard-working and friendly. They were very well supported by Julio. This may seem like a given, but often it is not so it did stand out to me. Once all of the work was done, Julio gave me a final walk-through, showing me how the various components function and made certain that I did not have any lingering questions. I think there were two follow up visits after the work was completed in order to accomplish this. There was no point along the way where I felt like they were taking shortcuts, using materials that were inferior quality, or anything of that nature. Their concrete cuts were incredible, and I have seen some really bad cuts in my past. And they did a beautiful job with brick work, including redesigning some curved areas of brick that needed to be removed during the job. Veronica in the office was very helpful as well. All in all, having my work done by Professional Drainage Experts was a very positive experience and I give a hearty recommendation to them!

Communication throughout the process was great. They used their 5 step lifedeck coating as well as a bonderized steel railing around my deck walls. The work began within the week and they even rushed a bit to finish before the rain. I appreciate that Robert and his team went above and beyond to do so. When we…read moreagreed on a date and time, he either showed up real late, like near dark or the next day to work on the roof. He worked on our roof two or three times, but we were still getting leaks in the same area of our roof. With his last visit, he assured us that we don't have to worry about leaks anymore and to trust him. Guess what? Our roof is STILL leaking after this past Easter weekend storm, Same area that he accused me of being paranoid of. We had enough and did not want him to come back so we hired another roofer to do an inspection. The new roofer found quite a few shocking things: First, the area that Sal worked on, the tiles were not nailed back in which can cause more leaks and also can be dangerous if high winds were to slide these loose tiles off the roof. Many of the nails were found on my roof. Second, the edge of the new underlayment near the ridge (top of the roof) was just placed over the old underlayment above , not placed over the ridge or at a bare minimum, it SHOULD be tucked under the old underlayment above it. So basically, water will just run under the new underlayment! Last, some of the nails that hold the new underlayment were not nailed all the way in which of course can let water in the nail hole. I forgot to mention, he used so much concrete for the ridge cap that the excess poured down the other side of my roof leaving a cement colored trail. Based on all the positive reviews here, I thought I made the right decision hiring him but it looks like we got the short end of the stick. Lesson learned.
