Home Renew remodeled my two bathrooms. In the end, upper management gave me a discount for the numerous frustrations I experienced throughout the project. These were some of them: 1. As the contract was being finalized, several items hadn't been updated to reflect the current scope of work. I highlighted said items, along with the notation, "Looks great. Once these items are updated, I'm ready to sign." The project manager immediately texted back, "I feel like a school child and that you're correcting me." 2. I had it written into the contract no work past 5:00pm. On two days within the first week, the project manager authorized his worker to stay past the agreed-upon time, without first running it by me. When I brought it to his attention, he texted, "That's great! We're trying to get ready for inspection asap!". When it turned out to be an ongoing issue and I again called him out on it, he texted me a screenshot of a thank you card an appreciative former customer gave him. 3. I also had it written into the contract no dumping of dirty drywall or paint water down the storm drain in front of my house (which is illegal anyway). One of the workers is on Ring doorbell video pouring the water down the storm drain in front of the house, in front of a painted sign on the curb of dolphins that says "No Dumping". This left two large white marks on the street for several days before they cleaned it. 4. They forgot to install a corner shower bench in one of the showers. When I brought it to the project manager's attention, he sheepishly grinned and said, "How did that happen? Well, obviously, we won't charge you for it." While they offered to install a shower seat after the fact, I didn't want to deal with the project manager's gaslighting any longer than necessary. 5. They were supposed to remove an old grab bar, towel bar, and toilet roll holder, but said that they first had to check to see if was on the scope of work. A few weeks passed, and the project manager didn't get back to me to say that they were going to do it. I didn't want to continue chasing answers, and hired a handyman to do the work. The next time the project manager was there, he said his own worker had done it and seemed surprised when I told him that my handyman had done it. 6. First final inspection failed due to lack of a GFI outlet and vacancy sensor. The city inspector commented in passing, "And you might want to also make sure all your smoke detectors are up, so next time I don't need to go around the house." I was there when he said this (the project manager wasn't) and the conversation was recorded on indoor Ring camera. When the project manager showed up a few hours later, I said, "Looks like we didn't pass inspection." He shot back, "Well yeah, because you didn't have your smoke detectors up!". There were innumerable other incidents such as this, where the project manager gaslit me on the regular. So perplexing and annoying. 7. After the wall tile behind the toilet was installed, only 9 inches remained between the wall and the center of the flange (not enough space to properly install a 12-inch or even 10-inch rough-in toilet). They were aware of this but were not transparent about it, and did not inform me that they had trouble installing a toilet. Since the toilet I'd ordered had a long lead time, they installed a temporary toilet to pass inspection. The temporary toilet was then removed, and the bolts were transferred from the notches the installer had created, to their proper locations, closer to the wall, leaving space now for only a 9-inch rough-in toilet. I'd been happy to end the project without them installing my own toilet once it arrived (even though toilet installation was included in the scope of work), due to numerous prior issues and negativity from the project manager. However...following completion of the project, my special order toilet was delivered, which my longtime plumber tried to install. He noticed that Home Renew had deliberately created two notches (one on the left, and one on the right, see photos). The bolts had been relocated from their proper positions into said notches, so that the toilet could sit further away (10 inches) from the wall. My plumber said this gerry-rigging provided a quick-fix intended to fool the inspector, but would not have been a sustainable long-term solution, and would have resulted in major complications such as leaks. Home Renew failed to inform me of this issue and left me to discover it on my own. They have offered to do the repair under warranty, but based on their deliberate poor workmanship and and blatant lack of transparency, I don't trust them to properly complete the repair. read more

Home Renew 360 did a great job on our roof tile reset and house trim repair/replace/repaint.. The Project Manager, Roy Lansky was very informative from our first meeting with him until the project was complete. He explained each step in detail. He let us know the project was going to be delayed one day because of a prediction of rain. The following day, a Porta-Potti was delivered for the workers who arrived at 7:00 a.m, which was the pattern for the next four days. The crew worked very efficiently, from sunrise to sundown, cleaning up their waste each day into the trailer which was placed each day for their use. They took Sunday off, working another four days to complete the entire job. We are very pleased with the work done and recommend this company for their commitment to customer satisfaction in every aspect of their business. read more

I called after 9am on a Monday and mentioned 20 cement roof tiles were cracked and needed replacement. They offered to be there at 2pm same day for an estimate. They called back right away said they wont be there til 3:30-4pm. A car (not a work truck) pulls up at 4pm and a clean dressed young man comes to the door. I walked him along side and explained that the realtor inspection called out 20 cracked tiles and some flashing needing attention. The young man said "We don't replace tiles. We do general contracting. Our minimum is $5,000.00 and it will be much more to do the whole roof with a team. ! WHAT ? I did a bunch of research to teach myself about HVAC systems, and they offered me a great deal with top of the line units. Ron Levi has been our project manager for the work on our Riverside house which started with a full replacement of the roof. What has been really tricky is that we are in Washington and had to rely on telephone and FaceTime communication. We can't say enough good things about how this has gone. Ron has been on top of everything and got work done so quickly. In fact we are so happy with the work on the roof that we are now working with him on painting the exterior and replacing the windows. The painting is a really big job on this old house with extensive sanding and some wood siding repair. Again, communication with Ron has been great and he's been on top of the job at all times. Okay, Home Renew 360 redeemed themselves. They were not ignoring me. The manager who came to our home was fired, and it was assumed that all customer information was up-to-date. It was only when they read my yelp reveiw that they reached out to me, horrified that I'd been treated such. The roofing job I need done is smaller than the types of jobs they normally do; however, to make up for my inconvenience and miscommunication, they agreed to come back and see what can be done. They were professional in their dealings with me, and I can certainly recommend their service. If you value good customer service, this is the company for you. read more

Called to have an estimate done for a roof replacement. A guy came out and asked a few questions and then left. I never got a real estimate. He gave me more of a range. I guess he didn't need to actually get on the roof for the estimate since he didn't bring a ladder. He was here about 5 mins and didn't leave a card or anything. He also did not have a mask on and that is kind of important during this time. I guess since he stayed outside and stood far away from the door he was okay. read more

I had a similar experience to the person from Upland that gave a bad review....I submitted a request for a quote for siding specifically. They said they cannot give me any ballpark for quotes over the phone unless they see it. Typical sales...sure. I make the appointment. Someone comes...But he says he isn't specialized in siding, so he wants to send someone else out to get me the exact quote. I said I don't need exact and a ballpark so I can get my finances in order, but no...he insists the other guy must come. He takes measurements of the house...not sure why if he's not the guy...I'm told someone will come that Saturday. I do get a confirmation txt the night before and I confirmed. Nobody came Saturday and I txted Nathan (the rep) to see if he had a number for me the following Monday. No reply. Completely ghosted me. I don't mind if someone doesn't show up because they forgot, but why would you not let a potential customer know what the issue is. I had to call back into the office to ask for another appointment and they said that Nathan already got me a quote. I told them I never got it and explained. They said they would check to see what happened with Nathan and call me back...no call...instead someone shows up at my door at 7pm during dinner without any warning....It's the guy for the siding that was supposed to show up on Sat. So without any notice, they send a guy...The worst thing is, I asked him can you give me a ballpark estimate and he said, no I have to ask Nathan after he gets him the measurements...so let me get this straight....the person that told me that he was not the right guy for siding, is the guy that is able to get me the quote in the first place? So he is able to get me a quote but decided not to give it to me the first visit....I'm so confused and don't understand why I need to have 3 touchpoints to get a ballpark quote. These folks were originally scheduled to come out later in the day, however, Gal their Project Manager, contacted us and we met earlier than scheduled. Gal, showed up eager to check out our roof. Very nice guy, wore his mask as per the local guidelines. While he was inspecting he took some photos which he shared. He was very insightful and clearly explained the pros and cons of the roof's condition. As we discussed it, I learned not only do they do roofs, but they repair and remodel other areas of the home. This is good to know as we are considering doing some updates to this place in the near future. When that happens I will be reaching out to them again. read more

We are extremely pleased with the results of our renovation project through Home Renew 360. From the initial contact with Gal, where we put our dreams on paper, to the contract signing with Gal and Ron, where we were assisted with securing financing, everything went smoothly. The craftsmen were careful of the property and kept in constant contact to insure that we were consulted whenever decisions had to be made. They each cleaned up their work site at the close of every day.The tile work in the bathroom and on the kitchen backsplash is a real showpiece, and the tiler even showed me how to grout an extra piece of backsplash to make my own custom trivet. The plumbers relocated the tankless water heater to a much more desirable location, installed new sinks, faucets, shower heads, vanity, medicine cabinet, toilets, garbage disposal and a hood for the range. The painters were very patient with my slow decision-making and painted samples onto the wall to help me choose. The walls and ceilings throughout the house now look pristine. The cabinet craftsman built an incredible, new 8' cabinet and refaced the existing cabinets/drawers in a satin-looking finish, with all self-closing hardware. It gives the kitchen a dramatic look and compliments the floor, counter, walls and backsplash. The quartz countertops have a beautiful pattern and were measured and fit perfectly. The composite flooring was laid professionally and I was given expert advice on how best to care for it. The carpeting and new baseboards in three bedrooms and the living room were completed in one day and beautifully match the walls. The electricians added and rewired outlets, ran a dedicated line for the tankless water heater, installed a ceiling fan in the kitchen and bathroom, provided new sockets and dimmer switches, and put in multiple recessed lights. The roofers did a thorough job with both the repair of the wood slats and replacement of the old roof, and added an overlay on the patio cover which solved our leak problem. This was tested by torrential rains less than a week after installation! Gal, Ron and Victor, (the man with the eye for details,) alternated supervising the crew and were always available in person or by phone.The house looks beautifully updated and all of our home improvement dreams have been realized. I highly recommend doing business with this company. Their motto seems to be "Whatever you want!" as I heard this repeatedly whenever I asked "Do you think I could have.....?" Gal, Ron and Victor provided a very personal touch, making sure our every wish was granted. The company even sent us flowers on our anniversary! Unfortunately, she was more than double what we wanted to spend and what other contractors had quoted, so we weren't able to use them.
